hello and thanks for checking out my page! i guess you could say that i am new to anime, though it doesn’t feel that way to me! i loved anime through my middle school and high school years; however, as i got older and went off to college, i drifted away naturally from watching, as i did with several other interests. recently, though, me and my girlfriend have been going on a journey to reconnect with the genre and rediscover our love for animation. this is where i catalogue that journey. thanks for tagging along!

i rate based off of personal enjoyment and my tastes are all over the place. i can usually find something to love in just about anything, but my favorite genres are found-family, supernatural, psychological, and historical fantasy.

aside from anime, i love video games, music, thrifting, and collecting random stuff! i would love new friends so if you are ever looking for someone to scream about your interests to, or just someone to chat with, please reach out!

**rating explanation**

10/10 -> a genuine masterpiece, a flawless piece of media in my eyes

9/10 -> near flawless, a must watch, very minor or one singular flaw that just barely keeps it from being a masterpiece

8/10 -> incredible, a highly recommended watch, contains a few flaws here and there but not enough to dampen the enjoyment i got from the show, the good far outweighs the bad

7/10 -> good, an overall enjoyable experience, contains multiple flaws or few big flaws that are difficult to ignore and thus impact the enjoyment i got from the show, still a good experience overall, would recommend based on tastes

6/10 -> average, these shows are the base standard for watchable, provide enjoyment; however, these are by no means high art, fun to watch but contain serious flaws

5/10 -> mid, does not offer anything interesting or new, does not inspire intrigue in any means, contains major flaws, not yet bad but not good

4/10 -> poor, there is some good in here; however, the flaws far outweigh any good and greatly impact viewing enjoyment

3/10 -> really bad, mostly flaws, very little good

2/10 -> trash, a steaming pile of garbage
