This show is so much more than the synopsis says. All the girls (and there's quite a few) are very sweet characters, each with distinct personalities that play off each other and akebi-chan very well. The character designs and soft color palettes along with the beautiful painty-styled still shots are a joy to watch. Some people have been put off but the faces and eyes looking a bit weird and stretched in many scenes but I like the way everyone looks, it's leagues better than all the girls looking same-faced like many other anime.
