its a brilliant story the plot is epic as hell you really have no clue what will happen next and i loved every minute of it.

the plot is unbelievable i don't know what to say its so unique and so great that every minute will keep you guessing and in edge of your last nerve its just so exciting to watch.

any anime fan this is a must watch! i smiled with it i cried with it i scream of joy with it so many experiences i never felt before ran through my heart as i watched this masterpiece !

so many lessons are given about the ... reality of the world and what it could become some day and how humans act for their survival. in some actions you feel "this isn't right" and "there have to be a another way" and there always is you just have look for it and take the first step toward the road called "hope" otherwise you will be in dark .

you have to have enough strength and courage to change the world for the better ! this is the important message this fantastic anime give us and its been my great pleasure to watch this beautiful story unravel !

the music is superb the most memorable i have heard for a while its completely one of kind, it a masterpiece of its own made just for this anime .


animation and specially the English voice actors made these characters come to live i love them.
i love each and every main character they had their own heart and soul which is magnificent.

a one of a kind anime that is a must watch for anyone , i will miss the characters very much even now as i type this ..

you can relate to them very easily.the time just flew by went i watched nichijou. it feels like yesterday i started watching it. now i know why i took so long to finish it its just sad to say good bye.

i have seen lot of otakus here write a review for this epic anime movie so i thought i should say what i felt as well

story-
i have watched this anime so many times. enough times to make me remember the characters dialogs. the story had a very warm feeling from the beginning which is very hard to find some gems like these can be found even today's stories if you look hard enough. i loved the plot from the beginning to the end ... everything was just perfect. of course its being miyazaki senseis movie and a studio GHIBLI it delivered everything ... we hope and wished for. the plot had a smooth sailing to the end not too fast or too slow it was just right. i love how miyazaki sensei always gives us a world that we can get lost in and wish to be in. this story was full of history,folk tale, legendary characters from stories that it is full of wonder to the end. not a single dull moment, literary we cant predict what comes next..10/10

art-
it was beautiful and very original...the backgrounds look so pure,real,fluent and very detailed.the artists work so hard to show every detail in a effortless way. which i always love. like you know its super kawaii...and you know they worked so hard on it but it doesn't seem like it..
i like this type of art in "Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi" (so every ghibli art )better than the once that tries too hard to look real( still like it)... in my opinion i think doing that steals something from the anime world of wonder..maybe the excitement it gives off....hmm..i love all type of anime art but i like the once gives off the feeling of unrealistically realistic that anime have.. and the beautiful cute charm anime gives off..10/10

sound-
i love it so... much.. the ending theme song still rings in my ears even after watching it many months ago... background music was superb. went well with every situation.. whether it was sadness,happiness,excitement, fighting,love ... you name it they got it.. every situation was explained through amazingly beautiful melodies that goes through your heart and soothes your soul. the music hits your weak points and make you stronger with love and affection ...this is what i felt while i was listening to it...10/10

characters-
ahaaaa...chihiro.. was so cute.. is just a normal girl of her age who transform herself in to something that we all want to be...through her it shows learning new things and making mistakes is good and part of life and growing up...you have to make your mistakes right take time to do it and move forward without never ever giving up..... and the main guy...aha....he is so handsome .. i love him ..and his name is HAKU ....he is so great....actually every main character and sub characters is very important to the story and plays a huge part...in my opinion there are no sub characters i even hate saying that.. all characters are main characters and they are very important in every anime ......10/10

enjoyment-
i love watching this anime and i could watch it over and over like i always do without any single complaint ....everything was perfectly done its one of a kind masterpiece that i will keep on watching until i die .. the emotions and the lesson on "what is truly valuable and important" is given in a way that you wont forget no matter ho w hard you try.. the story gave me so much to my life.. 10/10

first of all there is great news for mushishi fans..there is a ova episode and the 2nd season to this anime is on the way guys they have officially announced it ..!i cant wait!!!!!

i have been wanting to write a review for this masterpiece for a long time but i just didn't know what to say, the experience i got from it was something i cant put it in to words ..never the less i'll try my best!

story-

is great! absolutely mind blowing ... literary you have to see it to believe it! it takes us to a world that's ... full of amazement and wonder .. where anything and everything is possible but it doesn't mean its always good or bad.
the story takes place in a alternative world where nature and humans are greatly involved and twist around because of this the viewer can easily relate to any character and can think realistically.

when a world this unique appears before you its very hard to find meaning in plot because your distracted by other things but that's where the mushishi writer is a genius because the writer kept the balance between mythical/spiritual/supernatural and realism that's what make mushishi perfect..!

art-

is fantastic its a perfect match for the story's theme. i fell in love with the main character in first few minutes and for me to that have happen is rare. art was very cool and relaxing also very fluid. back ground and the characters goes smoothly together as well..i am saying this because sometimes the characters are greatly drawn but the back ground is soo off it doesn't go with the theme of the anime .. but here its superb 100%.. goes with the mood the characters are feeling.
i have to say there are a lot of characters in this anime and it must have took real hard work to make them look so different from each other.. and seeing significant details on these characters proofs that it is magnificent. respect for the animators and art team.

sound-

wow what can i say.......i love it. the song is so calm and soothing and very catching full of meaning .. you will be happy to know (because i was) its in English which is rare to find and the band pulled it off because its still have its Asia flavor. i remember the song by heart word for word ...also the back ground music was fantastic.. its very quite (natural like with a twist) and shrine like..have beautiful bell involved melodies but suddenly when action scene or fast moving this happen it pick up like a rocket and the beat gets to you ..it was the trick to take it to next level.

character-

main character ginko is the bomb he has a very amazingly inspiring perspective of life that you will come to admire soon. you will wish that you should be like him (ginko). ..

oh.. there are so many to choose from.it is like a dessert or a candy store... which is good because there are each and every flavor that you want eat and don't want to eat. every character you see here i bet you have seen in real life. every one is different .the way they react to situations is soo unlike you will never get board. this is symbolism it says even though we are all humans each person is unique to a another no matter how much we look the same!

enjoyment-

okay i love it what more can i say ...i remember every episode like it is carved on my brain...i watched it in English dub...oh........it was wonderful....ginkos voice actor is mustang from FMA brotherhood!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ,,,,awwwwwww .... what more do you need... every actor did a splendid job ..when we hear it we can tell they put their heart and soul in to their work.. you will feel the passion burning through their voice... they gave soul to such beautiful characters ..i loved every second of it and i hope you love it too.. and theres more coming :3

i am not the kind of person who writes stuff but when i find a masterpiece unlike any other i just have to tell how i felt or i wouldn't catch any sleep ever i call it "OTAKU SENSE" he he he okay... i am sorry ill start.

"this story is like if miyazaki sensei and the ghibli directors and animators meet summer wars director and the result is this creation :3"

STORY-
is so unique.that it is happening next door.plot twist placement were brilliant..just 100% correct... it talks about a topic that we already know and takes it to a another level..which is harder ... to do because the audience is already aware of everything that you are going to talk about (which is a plus) but as i said the plot is told in a different point of view, one that will no body ever even being to imagine ..(i love this writer ..i will kiss his god hands if i meet him)
i personally believe that the technology that has been talked about in this amazing story could actually become a reality someday and that's the fun part ..you will start to feel as if "this cloud happen any day and if it does i would do the same thing"..and before you know it you can find your own personal character in one of these superb cast (can connect to them heart to heart).

don't mind me i love futuristic stuff but i love it the most when the theology advances they talk about in the story has a sense of reality to it that actually make sense and can understand properly..(its not the high-tech stuff its about how the story can be true enough..and that is the most hardest thing to do) the futuristic world that they talk about in this story is "so simple but intense ,its a complex theory but its very easy to understand and..these facts makes it even easier to relate to (and that's the most important thing)... you just have to see it to believe it...!

ART-
its so great ..very fluid like water and its crisp clear..attention to detail in each character and the background was just mind blowing (you know every character looked totally different.. only among siblings they put even more effort to make it look 10% similar characteristics in looks but the other 90% they stood their own ground) colours were very natural everything was perfect.

SOUND-
it had a big part in this . specially when the battles took place and the techno sound were mind freaking awesome wow.. i watched it with full sounds and it felt like its happening next to me... opening and ending theme songs were great i wish it were a little up beat just a tiny bit you know to get you pumped up.. but both of these songs are very much related to the story so 10 for me. in the end of it you actually realize it said things without saying :3

CHARACTER AND ENJOYMENT-
okay this is getting bigger.. this is the first anime that i love all the the main and the supporting cast that in the end i cant pick my favorite one ..i mean that is the first time that it ever happen to me. each and every single character are that great and that important to the magnificent plot that you are speechless in the end.they leave you with bigger that life impression on you and they are so full of colour "together they make sense like the rainbow" .

have to mention the voice actors,they where phenomenally out of this world..they build up the personalities just right...so that they are not inferior or superior to any other character...when you finish the story you feel alone but that feeling it just superb because you know that what you have watch is worth it.. and the story has a good message to it. hope you enjoy this wonderful masterpiece :3 it one of my top ten .. take care everyone :3

i am writing a review after a long long long time in this year hope i can write what i felt when i was watching this anime movie and make you want to watch it too..
alright this anime was amazing ....the story felt so real and the emotion throughout the story was carried out very well.

STORY- was very unique a topic that isn't talked about at all in the society or in anime world in general. it is because not every one can pull of a brilliant plot with HOMELESS people and a simple normal setting like Tokyo city streets wearing nothing ... special. that is the fun fact about this plot its all happen in real places to people with realistic problems but its so much fun from the very beginning that you cant stop laughing and at the same time feel sorry for the main characters not every one can do COMEDY WITH DRAMA because sometimes along the way you end up with too much drama or no drama at all WELL THIS STORY WAS A MASTERPIECE IT HAD THIS FANTASTIC BALANCE TILL THE VERY END.

ART-as i said before the characters look real as well. their physical appearance make them different looking from each other none of them looked like another, their voices(voices actors were fantastic) were so unique as well (some animes dont have this i dont complain) because of this their personalities shine very clearly. their facial expressions looked amazing so true to their personalities if i put it simply "you get what you see" there are no hidden trades just their past is hunting them and telling them to "face me" you can read this in there actions,behavior for this reason the art is epic.background was superb very detailed and lively.

SOUND-the background sounds was great.. the parts where their in a rush and or in sadness or filled with joy or just in the holiday spirit it was perfect. opening and the ending theme had the exact taste of the anime fun and joy in it .. i loved it .

CHARACTER- they were epic...so memorable you can just tell that by taking me for example i watched TOKYO GODFATHERS for the first time when i was 15 in 10th grade that was 8 years ago to this day and when i was reunited with anime again after years one of the few animes that i remembered was this movie (it was one of the first anime movies that got me in to loving anime) that's how much of a impact these characters were to me they were brilliantly voiced by English dub actors and the sub were awesome as well this is one anime/movie both the dub and sub cast were on the same level everyone gave their 100% to the characters . it was so epic to watch. i was lucky to watch it in English dub on animax long time ago before it got cut off to south east Asia.. but i was fortunate to remember this anime,find it in the net and watch it for 3 times. each it time at the end you get the feeling to watch it again from the beginning its that much fun and never ever boring ..this was a EPIC JOURNEY ...AND NOW WHY DON'T YOU GIVE IT A TRY,,,, ALSO I HEARD THAT THE DIRECTOR WHO MADE IT DIED WITH ILLNESS i like to say thank you that brilliant man for leaving as with such a GREAT MASTERPIECE :3 i hope you enjoy :3

ex driver is an anime and always will be something that is very close to my heart because its being one of the "first animes" that i have ever watch in my whole life it was in 2005 that i laid eyes on anime and lucky for me that this was a "gem" to me and made me inseparable to anime that was the time that anime became "a part of my life" a fantasy that will never end.for me this was a re watch and was i a happy camper to find this again in net.everything was the same it was just perfect with ... a lot of fond memories.

story-it simple to get.full of action,filled with comedy,new feelings of romance also drama to explain things properly it was a complete package after watching you can raise your finger and say "hey they missed something here"everything is explained fully and "i love it especially because this plot and this story could actually become a reality in near future not that far away from us."i love it,this much because of how realistic the story is"the technology that is used and the things happening in the series can happen to us.especially is very simple to understand and complicated enough to make you guess "that's why this is a balanced show"there is nothing unimportant happening.

animation and art -well is was done in the 90's and it was the art that i loved and fell for in the fist place so it was superb for that time.everyone had unique looks to them"you know everyone didn't look the same"they were so different from each other.from looks,facial expressions to fantastic personalities.also my favorite character "soichi" was soooooooooooooooo........cute and sexy.i just wish they made more episodes.

sound-i remember every beat of every song that was playing in the show.opening theme song get you pumped up and in the mood for the action to come and comedy to come.op theme says everything that has to be said about the show and what are the characters like.ed theme was so great making you to watch more.

characters-i love "soichi" he is my favorite.Lisa is awesome Lorna is fantastic.they make this show a success.this team is so great.the things they do,the things that happens to them is so unreal sometimes you worry for them and sometime you burst out laughing that cant be stopped and you miss some of the dialogs because of it and you repeat things.(well it happen to me)there is romance blooming if you take notice and you will.love in this is very enthusiasm after all they are kick ass drivers and they are good.how i know this? is beaus of the great animation.it was swift and beautifully done so you know "how good the riders are" the technical terms used are very accurate and done very well as well.it end ended the appropriate way too i have to mention this because some animes mess the ending but this was just pure gold just like the beginning.
dialogs-i always forget to mention this the dialogs were hilarious at times but sometimes it give you an impotent message.also the dub actors were just like "icing on the cake"they were brilliant.
i loved it years back,i love it now and always will love this story for days to come...i already miss the characters so much."they were like a sun shining after a gloomy rain".i just hope you will watch this epic anime story that is easy going but at serious when it needs to be..so go and enjoy it wont take you long its only 6 episodes of Action,comedy,fun and love which makes me say again "i wish there were more episodes" so enjoy :3

It’s been a while since I have written a review. Well here goes I will tell exactly what I felt while I was watching it and hope it will encourage you to watch this beautiful story of love breaking all boundaries "because no matter what being happy in life is the most valuable treasure".(It said that this has echchi comedy moments but there was very less and I wish there was a bit more comedy but it’s just me ok.the story is pure gold)

story-the plot starts very simple with lot of questions given from the very beginning so it’s fun because you feel like you ... have to find the answers right now just as the lead male character feel in this case "HIDEKI"this story is a pure definition to what real love is, like how love spouse to feel and what you should look for. it tells the viewer this is what real love is and kind of ask us in a way “have you ever known love like this?” if not then it’s not love. So if you watch it you will have a bigger heart than before to think different and the right way about love. This story contains all kinds of love and different plots for each character and their own happy endings. This was a very brilliant move by the writers.

art-was good very fluid like water very smooth and lot of fantastic details on the background but I had a problem (remember only i had a problem) with their eyes (hidekis eye was ok because it suited his character) it wasn't that animated (for me) at all it kind looked wired (for me) I mean it wasn't beautiful it was dead like in zombis.they didn’t put that much detail in to it (for me).that’s the only this that bugged me. This was an amazing story that’s why. Couldn’t they give them perfect anime eyes i hope you get what I’m saying? But that makes it unique form other anime there so it’s still a plus point.

sound-I loved the opening theme and the ending theme songs no problem but they should have at least change the animation of it though, seeing the same thing kind of board me but I got through with it because music was fun and energetic and i love the song and the story was just mind blowing good, there was a plot twist in every corner.background music was so much fun and funny but was dramatic when it needed to be, it was top notch.

Characters-this was the main point in my case the characters had so many different but same views in love. it’s like everyone's going to the same school using different kind of transportation, sub characters were like “teachers to hideki and chi “in to showing what love actually is.sub characters were like cherry on top, they worked really well together .I felt like they belonged there and nowhere else. Every character was handle perfectly very carefully and it paid off “hands off to the writer”.hideki- I think represented us in this unknown advanced world....he was so much fun to watch also you can feel what he can feel at the moment because he is a normal person like us.i was very touched by his actions and emotion because he did things that I would have done. The way he think, the things he say, the things he go through, I felt everything the same way he felt at that very moment. He was the character that I saw myself in. Chi-was just adorable learning little by little, what she is looking for (she knew it from the begging that she want a special person to love but it was hidden in the past), what love is and when she found out the uneasy feeling that she has deep inside her heart is love, she wasn’t afraid to follow her heart think she was very brave and inspiring to all girls out there to know what they really want and learn to do what your heart tells you. this was a story of love, for all kinds of people, so I invite you to come fall in love like never before "the story tells being loved by someone, anyone and falling in love with the special someone is the way to be happy “so what are you waiting for go watch it now!

sometimes an anime is all about three things and that is-1-entertaintment
2-entertaintment
... 3-entertaintment and oh my god.... this is one of those few animes that entertained me to the core.this was so great.it is trilling and had mystery,drama,love,action and huge pack of sarcastic dirty comedy that makes me laugh even now after one week of finishing it also this is not stupid comedy its smart comedy so it has more impact on you.normally only the best of the best comedy anime characters will be always in our memory including the sub characters no matter what we do we just cant forget them and you'll remember the plot to the word but this happens only once in while thats why i gave the test to myself "if i remember these characters names for a one week ill write a review for it"i did each and everyone thats how much i love it.i have watched 5 best comedy animes and they are(up until now i hope the list gets longer,im ordering them in the order i watched them)
1-ouran high school host club(hope a another season or ova would come to show tamakis and haruhis love)
2-my bride is a mermaid.(absolutely fantastic can watch more)
3-B gata H Kei(i hope ova or something comes up,i just cant have enough of this anime)
4-the world only god knows season one and two.(hoping for the 3rd season very desperately)
5-OH EDO ROCKET(yeah......and beautiful one of a kind masterpiece of a thriller comedy).
STORY-story is wonderful completely unique and authentic THAT WHY ITS ONE OF A KIND MASTERPIECE.it had more action and fight,bit blood shed and huge mystery to it.a lot of secrets and plot twits are happening so if you miss an episode you will be sorry.its a bit adventurous type anime so no echchi then you have to give comedy to the its fullest right?don't worry it does deliver what is promise and like sugar on top a true love starts to bloom in all this craziness thats happening.the ending was well superb as well just like the beginning you will never guess what can happen in the next episode.
ART-was very different for each and every character this was the fist time it was done...well when you WATCH this anime a lot of THINGS HAPPENS FOR THE FIRST TIME FOR THE HISTORY OF ANIME THE CHARACTER THEM SELF SAID IT :3 it was very humorous using different technique for characters and also for the surroundings.
SOUND-was brilliant very beautiful and catchy i wasn't tried of it at all and kept me upbeat and energized for the episodes to come,i love the both OP theme and two ED theme songs it expressed the anime theme very well to the fullest.
CHARACTERS-they where funny,complicated,in love,suffering,crazy all of this i cant say more i will spoil for sure.i loved all of them each and every one was needed for the plot to unravel and none of them where forgotten even until the last minute,the things they do the things they will be remembered long time and ALSO THEY MAKE FUN AND TALK ABOUT SUPER HIT ANIMES SO WATCH OUT FOR THE DIALOG TO CATCH WHAT ANIMES THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT :3
I ENJOYED IT FULLY 100%.A MASTERPIECE IS BORN NEVER TO BE FORGOTTEN EVEN WHEN YOU TRY JUST WATCH IT AND ENJOY :3

it has the name saying that its the SHIKI SPECIALS but i think it just another two episodes that is absolutely 100% necessary for the story so do all a favor watch it in order or you will be confused if you watched it after the SHIKI.this is episode 20.5 and 21.5 watched it in that order when your watching the story because these episodes make the plot complete and it makes perfect sense how everything was handle at the very end.so enjoy ! i have said everything i have to say in the previous review.this anime made me fall in love with anime all ... over again and im so much in love with it if thats even possible.i love my life :3
