Wow, this manga was nothing that i was expecting. It was simply beautiful.
Basically, its about these two high school kids named Nishi and Ito and they play the white line game where if you fall of it , something bad happens. They intersect at a line, and the story begins.
Both the characters were amazing. As the clock ticks by, they grow with one another and cherish each other. However, as a gay couple, they face challenges that other normal couples don't. Ito is the one who gets the most pained and worried about such challenges and ends up hurting Nishi. The reconciliation takes a while,
...
but they are able to be at peace with each other.
If you don't cry reading this, you're sincerely tough. If you enjoyed Paradise View, you will surely enjoy this one. If you haven't read Paradise View, I suggest you check it out and its prequel Kimi to Parade.

This love story is quite simple and I'm pretty sure resembles many others out there, but that doesn't make it a bad yaoi( its more shounen ai than yaoi though).
The art of the story is pretty simple but its still quite nice and there is nothing to complain about.
The story is quite sweet, focusing a lot on romance and love between long time friends.
The characters don't go through some huge change, since its mutual love. Although, once they have confessed, their love blossoms pretty quickly. Very eager to begin their relationship.
This is a good read for someone who's pretty
...
much read all others out there. I read this for that reason and I have nothing to complain about. This is also a good one for beginners who want something short and sweet.

This manga is like a roller coaster ride. There's excitement and fun as you go up, going through life. Then, suddenly, you're at the top and then you go falling down at great speed. Although, the calm,as you're almost done, is the most painful.
I would recommend this to all people who enjoy a true love story with a realistic beginning, middle, and end to one. I believe this to be one of the greatest manga's I've read. Its prequel, Kimi to Parade, is a great read too. You get a chance to see how it all started and how they came together after some
...
struggles.
The art is pretty great too, there's nothing to complain about. The characters have a realistic view and show their emotions quite realistically to the situations they face, considering the possibilities ahead of them. The story is also quite realistic to an extent. They live out their life with their careers hoping to do good.
Overall, this story is very realistic, which makes it a great read. If you're unsure by the rating this manga was given, don't be. Experience it yourself .

After finishing the first two novels that precede this one, I had really high hopes for Cold Fever. I was sadly mistaken.
ENJOYMENT:3
Where to begin. Throughout most of the book Torhu torments Fujishima which doesn't sit well with me. I understand that he does not remember that they were lovers for the past couple of years, but he understood the fact that he had taken care of him for a long time. Torhu's personality wasn't unexpected, but the actions he took against someone who had cared for him were really appalling. I didn't really feel sad, mad, or happy reading this book
...
, but rather incredibly disappointed.
CHARACTER: 5
The drastic character change from Torhu was dramatic to say the least, but like i mentioned, it was expected. Still, he turned into the complete opposite of who he was, so he turned into a completely different character who i sympathized with before, but now not so much. He felt a lot of disappointment and abuse growing up, but instead of growing into a more mature person, he did exactly as what his bullies had done to him previously. I understand that the novel is showing a more realistic side of the selfishness that humans feel, but I think it could of been done better. I was honestly really fed up with his character by the end. As for Fujishima, his personality remained the same. He was still passive and always wanted the best for Torhu. If Torhu wanted something, he'd do it in a heartbeat. His character was considerate, thoughtful, and kind through and through. I felt that his character was made a bit too compliant since he let himself get abused over and over, but I can say that I liked him through all the novels.
OVERALL: 5
The twist wasn't that surprising, since it was foreshadowed countless times. The drastic change did excite me at the beginning, and i keep thinking how it would all conclude. Although now, I can say i was disappointed. They accepted each other for who they were now, but their relationship didn't feel like that of lovers, at least, not as true love. I felt that Torhu was just attached to his "brother" since he has no one else who cared about him. Fujishima's feelings weren't portrayed very well on the matter as he just went along with the flow, even though he was incredibly abused. Compared to the other two novels, this one was the worst, enough that i feel a small regret in reading Cold Fever.
*As for the side story that has been incorporated through all the novels was cute enough in the previous two novels, but in the last one it was just disappointing as well. It shows their relationship just becoming more one sided and it didn't really provoke any of my emotions.*
