Anohana's main themes around the conjoining of friends and the dealing of grief, Orange delves into very similar ideas and character dynamics while simultaneously accurately depicting the struggles of mental health one may go through and the difference of dealing with it alone vs with help. Both series give realistic and meaningful stories but given a slight supernatural twist that keeps the watcher hooked and interested.
