I say viewers can be divided into two groups and I have to write something different for each one
1-thous who know mythology and history.
if this is where you are (like myself) the show is epic. if you know who the characters are and how their lives were, you will love this [the show tries to explain who those people are and what they did but I don't think they did a good job of that]. 8/10
2-thous who don't know mythology and history.
this is shit :) let's be honest compared to something similar like Baki this is
...
simply lacking. the story is a pretty simple one aka not the most deepest one, characters are shallow and the interactions are boring (which is a waste cuz the whole gimmick is mixing separate stories together), sound design is awful, animation is not much better than average, and worst of all the pacing is shit. with stats like this, you cant give it more than 5/10
-so, in conclusion, this show requires knowledge that is not available to the viewer by just watching it, but if you have the knowledge you will enjoy it
