Story (7/10): It's rather straightforward and funny, but somehow touching at parts.
Art (7/10): I liked the art. Admittedly, it did feel a bit messy at times, but overall, it adds to the airy feel of this manga.
Character (9/10): Although their personalities sound cliched (negative and positive, how many times has that been done?), the main characters were beautifully written. The way their personalities made their relationship work and mutually beneficial was wonderful. (I applaud the author for this. It's no easy feat writing a story of two very different people in a healthy relationship.) The minor characters were fleshed out and always ...

Mod Note: This review was initially posted for the one-shot, Ibitsu na Kakera, and was subsequently merged into Rakuda Tsukai to Ouji no Yoru.

Story and Character (7/10 & 6/10): When I saw this manga labeled as psychological and tragedy on mangafox, I thought how bad can it be? After all, it was written by Ogawa Chise who churned out two of the cutest yaoi manga - Gosan no Heart and Kono Ore... It was not too psychologically disturbing, but it shocked me nonetheless. Anyways, the story as a whole has been done before, but it has a pretty interesting and disturbing twist. The characters were ...

Story and Character: 8/10
I liked this spin on the humans-that-can-turn-into-cats story. There are a few chapters where one of the characters annoyed me to no end, but ultimately, main characters and minor characters are very entertaining. The story and the characters melt together, and none of the characters' actions felt forced or just there for the sake of the plot.
Art: 8/10
Sex scenes are very well drawn, and the detail in scenes in general are beautiful. Her art style when it comes to faces just isn't really my taste, but even then I cannot say that the art is "bad" or "average."
Enjoyment: 9/10

Story: I went in expecting something sweet. I came out getting so much more. The first story, Hana no Miyako de, made me tear up, and broke my heart. I wont say anymore - just that it's bittersweet and if you want a fluffy, happy ending, back your way out of this manga. Otherwise, hold tight and enjoy! As for the second story, Hana no Migoro ni, has that fluffy, happy ending. While there are rough spots in their relationship (and a cross-dressing instance), it all turns out well.
Art: Beautiful. I have a soft sport for this artist. If you ever read Seven Days, it's ...

Mixed Feelings
Story: Maybe it's only because I've read this manga once but the story confused me. In the beginning it was a nice kind of confuse that drew me in, but as the story progressed loose ends were messily tied together. The story certainly wasn't cliche, though it wasn't good either
Art: I really love this artist's art. It looks so beautiful and natural - that's probably what kept me reading.
Character: Again, maybe it's only because I read this once, but some of the characters really just blended together; I couldn't tell who was who.
Enjoyment: I really liked the art, and there are some scenes that ...

Mixed Feelings
Story and Character: 7/10
Well, it's not everyday you stumble over a storyline and characters like this! Sure, the seme's a businessman, but it just works in this case. It's the whole two opposites attract with a whole different spin. Even though the uke was so dependent on the seme, it didn't bother me at all! Maybe it's because the seme is so dependent on the uke as well, just for different things. They can run by themselves, but they run best when they're together!
Art: 5/10
Okay, this is probably where the manga lost a lot of points. Not to say I didn't like the artwork, but ...

It's a pretty cliched scenario - the meet-again-school-boys story.
The characters are also pretty cliche, but somehow when you smash together the cliche story line and the cliche characters you get something pretty good.
Art: 8/10
Perhaps the thing that pulls this manga all together is the art. I really love this art style, and it's one of the elements of this manga that elicited laughs and tears out me as I read. If you're not reading for the story or the characters, read for the art or....
