The author's art style wasn't my favorite, and I wish it had been longer. Given that, this manga is probably my most favorite manga of all time.
The author managed to do something that isn't found commonly in most manga whether it is shounen, shoujo, BL, or otherwise. The author managed to cram so much imagination and literary alchemy into the 6 chapters that they did write. The manga wasn't mundane- it was realistic, outlining real struggles of real people.
I don't know how to describe the feelings this manga made me feel even though it was only 6 chapters. The amount of emotional depth
...
the author managed to cram into those pages is really beyond me. She juxtaposes ordinary day-to-day life with the magical fantasy that the main characters live in and shows just how love can make life feel magical.
I've cried during anime and manga. Not easily, but I have definitely cried. When I reached the end of this manga, there is a scene in the last chapter where the way the panels are paired together made me so emotional so suddenly that I couldn't cry. I wanted to puke because the emotions all hit me like a ton of bricks because I knew it was a pain that every single one of us will face.
Summary: You get to watch the characters fall in love, overcome the trials and tribulations of being two men in a relationship, more so than that, just two people living in the world, dealing with the fact that everything has an end. Please read this manga! It is so necessary.

If I had to summarize this whole anime, it would be akin to life after love.
What does this anime excel in?
The theme- watching the main character move forward from tragedy to live and forgive is really inspiring and well developed. It was also more realistic from typical boys love works.
The art- For a BL anime, Given was given (hah) a lot thought for the anime adaptation. The animation was wonderful, and I already love the art style of the manga author.
The sound- The OST score was well coordinated as well as just enjoyable. While the ending and opening didn't quite stick
...
with me, there is music in the anime that was like 12/10 lyrically and musically like it gave me chills.
Okay so again, reiterating that this is a really good anime, there are still things that I think could be negatives depending on who is watching:
Subplots- so this anime balances the romantic plot and the main plot pretty well. But- and this is entirely a personal preference- I felt like there were too many subplots, romantic or otherwise. Like, I really only cared about the main characters' relationship and the main story line, so the anime did drag a bit when the focus was shifted to other characters. However, this plus side is that there are a lot of interesting characters.
Scandalous stuff- For better or for worse, there really wasn't much of this. The anime's romance is very vanilla like very, very vanilla. It's really cute, don't get me wrong. I think I just wanted more of it. But, this is one place that it differs from traditionally yaoi/shounen-ai.
Summary: Great non-traditional shounen-ai with a heartfelt and moving story, quality animation, dynamic characters, and a good soundtrack- definitely worth a watch

No. 6 was an amazing anime. Okay, I know what you're thinking already-- wow what an UNBIASED REVIEW. But, please, read on. This will hopefully be an unbiased review.
Story:
(STORY PORTION HAS A LITTLE BIT OF SPOILING)
The first episode starts off with a boy with an iq of something like 180 living in the very rich and well off places in the city utopia of No. 6. One day a boy running through the sewers shows up in the boy's house. He's a convict. His name is Nezumi. Sion, being super naive- and there is an underlying essence of some wit behind it seeming idiocy-
...
takes in Nezumi for a night and feeds him and heals him.
NOW I AM GOING TO GIVE YOU THE LAYERS OF THE STORY BECAUSE THE FIRST TIME I WATCHED THIS, I GOT SUPER CONFUSED. You can skip this part if you already get it.
Conflict 1: Behind the one way glass walls of a Utopia
Later, in about the second episode, one can start to see all of the flaws of this perfect Utopia. The city brings any people who they think are hindering the order and throw them into a correctional facility where scientists are free to do whatever they want with them.
Conflict 2: Sion's personal life
There is a girl named Safu who is clearly in love with Sion and she goes to study abroad. She makes him promise 'his sperm' to her when she comes back in two years. Later, Safu becomes a significant character.
Conflict 3: Sion escapes out of the city leaving his mother
I don't want to spoil too much so I'll just leave it at that. Nezumi helps him escape when he is being taken to the correctional facility.
Conflict 4: The people outside, the people inside, and the third option
There is a place called the West district where outcasts are thrown and no longer called human. This is where poverty has really chewed up the people and spit them back out. Every crime from rape and prostitution to robbery and murder brews here.
Conflict 5: The parasitic bees
There is a pandemic is going on that is taking the form of a bee and it lays eggs inside of people's necks. Then, when the pupa hatches, the body quickly ages and rots and dies in a matter of moment. There are only two people who survived the wrath of Elruryias (I think it's the nature
Conflict 6: Nezumi and Sion
I'm pretty sure they're a couple Until the end. Which pissed me off a lot. There are a lot of things that you can be unsure about between these two. Not to mention a lot of the story was Nezumi hiding why he didn't like No. 6.
I know a lot of people did not like. I get it. The ending was 'strange' and it felt 'incomplete' to a lot of people. But if you've seen an ending like sao's, you know what a bad ending is like. Maybe a weird magical ecological ending doesn't make sense and you didn't believe in Sion's third option in the first place. Stop looking at the fact that a bunch of insects destroyed a wall-- that's not what you're supposed to get out of it.
A lot of the anime was also plot development in an awkward way where it doesn't feel like it. About five of the episodes felt like almost fillers but they weren't. If you go back and watch it again, you'll realize that they were fill in the gaps of storytelling in a weird way.
(NOW SPOILERS ARE DONE~)
Art- The backgrounds were incredible. The opening and ending songs were also really cool. Especially the opening where all the pictures are flying off the boys. I think that they also did a really good job of setting the tone and the mood where they needed to. Other than some awkward animation issues, it was beautiful.
Sound-
This was one of my favorite parts of the show. First, the opening. The art for it was beautiful. Okay, but you're not going to like the song at first. It is very high-pitched. The song is called "Spell" by Lama. I didn't like it at first but it grew on me. It fucking grew on me and now I get filled with this saddening nostalgia whenever I listen to it. My favorite song though, is Kaze no Requiem sung by whoever voiced Safu and Nezumi's seiyuu: Hosoya. It is a truly beautiful song both in the way that it sounds and the lyrics. Along with "Buna no Mori" also sung by Hosoya.
Chracters:
I really loved all of the characters. I do, however, think that some of them were super flat and lead to some plot holes in their backgrounds. Sometimes, Sion is super dumb and then Nezumi's opinion keeps on change. Change is good, except when it happens this many times. The relationship between Sion and Nezumi is a little unclear. I'm sure there are some feelings though.
(Spoiler alert).
Nezumi lived by the rule that if you find something to protect, you've already lost. He doesn't give a shit about people who stand in his way to get to his goal. Except Sion. During the final scenes when Nezumi is standing with a gun pointed to him and he is wounded, Sion picks up a gun and kills the man holding a gun. Sion is completely phased by what he's done. Nezumi starts to cry which is completely unlike his character because he doesn't want Sion to change. When Sion dies, Nezumi sits in the correctional facility that is exploding and crashing down, and he sings for Sion because he feels like he's lost everything. Yes, many, many tears.
Enjoyment:
It's not everyone's favorite and I don't think most people enjoyed this as much as I did. I found this anime to be such... a portal for things I didn't want to face. A lot of narrow minded people just tell me that this anime was 'okay' and there was this and that wrong with it. I embrace everything wrong with it. Look at the big picture. It was a beautiful anime that really showed how beautiful life is. This is why I watch anime and I think it really gave me all the satisfaction I wanted.
Overall:
This was a marvelous anime. Maybe it wasn't for people who watch anime for fanservice or for people who watch for a plot with no cracks at all but for me, I watch anime for a different outlook on life. No. 6 definitely did.
I find myself being nicer to people as cheesy as the sounds. This anime shows that everyone has to be treated as humans wherever society might place boundaries. There are no amount of rules and regulations that can keep people from loving (not just romantically) and caring for each other. And there shouldn't. Oh, you can't forget the huge PSA this was for taking care of the environment and everything around you.
So~ Now that my cheesy life lessons that this anime are over. I say GO WATCH THIS ANIME. It's not perfect but there are tons of little candy cherries that you will love. :)

Once upon a time, I thought that outside of high school life, nothing ever happened to anime characters. Boy was I wrong.
This anime can make a rock cry.

Um. I'll try to make this as legitimate as possible. I hope no one knows I watched this.
The art was wonderful.
They definitely made very intimate and sexual noises while doing very sexual things.
And um, they probably enjoyed themselves a lot. But, I didn't.
I think all the boys are about ten or eleven and i don't think that is a proper age to be having sex with everybody that you meet about three times an hour.
What is with their boners... They get hard every time anything ever happens. Is that normal?
As far as story goes... I caught the part when they
...
fapped, found out CoCo was a boy, had sex... went to the amusement park... gave a blow job underneath a roller coaster in broad daylight despite being ten years old.
Don't watch this.
Unless you have some sort of fetish for little boys having sex with everything in every outfit with toys and vibrators, don't watch it.

Let's begin the fact that there are no female characters whatsoever in this series. Many males that look like females, but no female characters.
People who aren't patient with this anime will get really irritated when the episodes don't start uncovering any of what seems like a really deep, dark plot line about a misconception between two inseparable and premature lovers.
It starts out very slow and sometimes, it is only the comedy that kept me watching.
The first ending is great, the art is good- there's nothing bad about it- but the story and characters really struck me when I was watching
...
this anime.
Personally, I find the split personality and psychological disorders among the characters very intriguing and essential for the plot line because the anime may surprise you with twists and turns. Don't trust anyone.
The main love story is adorable and has many feels. The other side of Yoru and Sunao are extremely sexy too if you like that kind of thing.
Although it is boys love, if you were looking for some hard thrusting action, you are going to be disappointed, this story doesn't revolve around the two lovers as much as I would've liked but so much so to be called a shounen-ai.

Bleach is the story of an unappreciated teenage boy with a dark past and special abilities who thought that no one liked him because they made fun of his hair and have clearly never seen him take off his shirt.
Well... I just made it sound like every other story out there.
Bleach is very special-- to me and to many other fans-- in the way that we were able to sit through the fillers multiple times. *kind of spoilers*
Art- 8
In the beginning of the Anime, the art is very... interesting. Personally, I love the art in this anime with the fight scenes and the whole
...
package. I think this is a very good example of shounen style art and how their amazing (maybe exaggerated) muscles should look.
Sound- 10
The soundtrack for this series is AMAZING! There are songs for every mood and every situation... but that leads to soundtracks that are almost useless and thrown away because nobody wants to listen to them. There are many, many soundtracks for Bleach. I also love the openings and endings that are used for Bleach. Some appeal to me and some appeal to others.
Character- 6
Great, we have our stereotypical hero, Kurosaki Ichigo. Carrot top hero over here gets a lot of show time. Don't get me wrong, I love him a lot and I think he's very cool and hot. But, by the time you finish this series, you will be pulling your hair out because THERE ARE SO MANY CHARACTERS! Characters that provide almost nothing for the storyline? Kubo, we love your originality, but there's no need for so many characters! For example, we have the ten espada right? Then we have another 90 arrancar underneath them along with some of the mentioned former espada. I love Grimmjow though.
Enjoyment- 8:
This is a little bit more personal. Perhaps I enjoyed this anime more than others but that's because I hold it close to my heart and I cry when Ichigo does and I laugh when even the most remotely humorous things happens. The anime does have some funny scenes.
Overall- 8:
Well, you see, this anime will always be one of my favorites. Remember, it's not for everybody but it is very easy to get addicted to once you start flowing with the story.
Story- 6
The over-arching story, as I said before, was forgotten, time and time again. While the main character, the extremely sexy Kurosaki Ichigo, is busy fighting hollows, fighting new powers of his, and making new friends that are rarely mentioned again in the whole series, the audience is always left with a cliff hanger shortly followed by a terrible, irrelevant filler about the mod soul stuffed animal that nobody wants to see used for anything more than a comic relief. THERE IS A MAJOR SPOILER THAT PISSED ME OFF MORE THAN ANYTHING EVER. *******
You see, by the end of the main story line, you're left wondering, hm, did Ichigo actually beat any of his opponents? He didn't. You heard me, he didn't. Every single opponent he had was manipulated by Aizen since the beginning to be only as good as Ichigo himself and then you find out that Aizen's put Ichigo on surveillance since a long long time ago and then you just go well- way to solve plot holes, Kubo.

If you want to see Anime all bundled up into one in the most stereotypical setting with the most cliche characters and unoriginal title and all the hilariously idiotic romance you could ask for, this is for you-- I love it!
I had the experience of watching Baka no Test as one of my first Shojo anime and I could hardly contain my outbursts of laughter and confusion. Then, I watched it after watching a lot of anime, and I still laughed because it brought back so many memories.
You have the cute, perfect, sexual magnet, (who can't cook) innocent girl that the hero seems to have
...
a thing for- there's the pretty, flat-chested, violent, smart common sense-wise, tomboy who gets made fun of way too much and has a thing for the hero and people seem to dump pity on her-there's the pervert who has a nosebleed about everything and can't seem to put down his camera- the main character's hot, smart, tsundere friend who's relationship can be mistaken as gay with the main character- there's the quiet, dangerous, mysterious, extraordinary girl who hunts down the main character's best friend- the gay, smart one who just can't keep a cool head around his crush- the crazy, stalker chick that can't stay away from one of the heroines- the one that's made fun of for being both sexualities at once...
AND THE MAIN CHARACTER WHO'S INSANELY OBLIVIOUS AND STUPID. A perfect insert character for anyone.
These are the Archetypal characters of anime and whenever you revisit them, you can't help but laugh your head off.
This anime makes fun of any anime with any of these characters, this plot of starting from the bottom and getting to the top, summoning beasts, high school, and every genre in between.
Given that you don't need an insanely deep plot and you're looking for something light-hearted to watch: this is the anime that I recommend you watch!

...This anime...
I had absolutely NO expectations going into this anime... maybe I should've had some. Nah, what's the point, it would've surpassesd them all.
I tihnk the best adjective to describe this anime is "Godly". Or maybe I've just been so many shitty anime coming out recently that I got so fucking excited watching people battle taller, sexual organ-lacking, fat blobs of what they claim to be sunlight.
Shingeki no Kyojin gives you a gut-wrenching feeling as you go into it and you come out. It gets you on the edge with the end of each episode and makes you lose your man card. Starting slowly, it
...
picks up pace.
The flashbacks were used really efficiently as well. While giving you all the action you need, this anime doesn't fail to shit all over your emotions.
The art and animation was great, no doubt. But the music made your ears orgasm like there was no tomorrow. It is not impossible to get turned on by the soundtracks that made you want to shit yourself at the most epic moments of this anime.
My favorite part of this anime was the anime's whole message in a sense of Pathos and Ethos. Emotionally... well fuck you too. If you watch Clannad and cry this anime was a spike ball to the face because after it-- "Oh I would cry but I lost my tear ducts during SNK."
Logically... It was brilliant. It made every single human I knew, especially myself, feel like an insignificant piece of crap that humantiy could do without. It was amazing-- pretty depressing, but amazing.
I wouldn't be surprised if this anime single-handedly solved some major world conflict just because.
What would it be like to live in a world where people had something more important to focus on instead of some petty differences that cause wars these days?

Sword Art was a pretty decent anime. The problem is that it kind of became the one direction or justin bieber of the anime world, at least by 2013. You either love it or you hate it. It kind of introduced a lot of characters that you don't get to know much about and it left you hanging. For all i know, I'm probably just stupid, but I still haven't figured out why Kagame made SAO in the first place.
SAO was good but it took a major, major dive into the abyss of a mario-princess peach scenario at around episode 14. On the bright
...
side, the anime kept me on edge.
I know a lot of my fanboy friends really loved the anime, especially the ones that like mushy shojo. And I also know they got pretty upset (I mean completely raged) during the end of the second season. The end seemed cliche though.
