Code Glass never stopped impressing me with the twists and turns throughout the story. I was shocked, sad, exciting, etc. I only wish I had not seen so many spoilers before or else I imagine I would've had a bigger reaction at certain parts. Still, this series has been chilling and fun, one of my favorites already. Not to mention, the battle scenes had me glued to the screen which rarely happens. Also, the music during these intense scenes were so incredible! The politics were complicated and fascinating. I think the characters were strengthened this season, too, even though at times they were not participating ...

A mix between Death Note and Neon Genesis Evangelion, Code Geass is fast-paced and shocking. I took a break halfway through watching this and I really regret it. There are so many moving parts, since this is a war, that even if the buildup is taking a while, the outcome is definitely worth it. There are fantastical elements with the use of geass, obviously there are war elements with a lot of mecha, and surprisingly complicated characters. One moment you think it has died down, something shocking strikes and you are sucked back in again. In terms of design, I would understand if some people ...

This was an okay first season. It was a classic sports anime so it was exciting and dramatic. However, I was not drawn in. The art could be really choppy at times and the characters were cookie cutters. The Generation of Miracles is interesting and this first season sets it up well. I like that Kuroko is somewhat of a side character in his own show considering his skill is being overlooked. That being said, Kagami could have gotten more background information. We are not given a lot of information about any character which does not make me connected to them. This season was enjoyable ...

Spoiler
I went in with a major spoiler and because of that, I wanted to finish this as soon as I could. Turns out that wasn't an issue since I couldn't be pulled away from the screen. I absolutely adore every queer-coded apocalypse story even if they don't like me and decide to tear my heart to shreds. Plot-wise, there is always something happening. For the most part, this is good and not overbearing, but because the show is so short, I still have a lot of questions. This did not take away from my enjoyment though! The characters were so incredible! In such a short ...

The quality of BNHA anime has been going down, but I do prefer this season's story to last season's. Still, it fell off towards the end. What is really killing the flow of the show is all the flashbacks from each character. We were bombarded last season and now this one. Based off the manga, the story later seems more interesting and I hope this season is just a rough transitioning period. So, as a stand-alone, I do not recommend and if I don't have to, I won't rewatch.

BNHA is also lucky that they focused so much time on the students' personality the first ...

The beginning of this season is sort of off-beat and the animation is slightly different so it was a little disappointing. The story begins to pick up and becomes so exciting and fun! Having an all freshman team opens up for many kinds of games and stories to come with it and this season captures that really well. Every character gets the chance to develop throughout the games. The team is so funny and sweet and I love them all! With two incredible seasons with a great set-up for future games and possible conflicts, it's sad that there are not more episodes. Of course, the ...

So fun!!! I'm surprised this isn't more popular as it is. Following the protagonist, and the pitcher, Mihashi Ren, Big Windup starts as he enters high school and onto a new baseball team after having a horrible experience in his previous one. He is fidgety and looks down on himself but oh so talented. The team and their bonding is so fun to watch since they all differ individually but pair well with one another as a whole. I absolutely love the style so much!!! Wish all shows still looked like that. Also, I hate to say it but I must,,,,, this feels so much ...

Obsessed! I love jujutsu kaisen so much! The story follows the typical shone style of short missions in between big battles against monsters that just seem to get stronger and stronger. While sometimes this is a hit or miss, JJK also has the overarching plot of Itadori and the growth of Sukuna within him. This slowly develops throughout the show while he also improves alongside his classmates. The possibilities to what can happen are almost unpredictable so you are always on edge and push ahead. The story tied to the incredible animation makes JJK addicting to watch. Definitely one of the most well-done shows in ...

Sankarea (Anime) add
Mixed Feelings
Sankarea starts off really, really good! The main couple is pretty interesting with Furuya's weird zombie addiction and Rea's overly sheltered life and how they mesh together. The story itself is sort of .. err.. "fun" just with the whole ability to bring somebody back to life. Plus, there's surprisingly a lot of consideration put into each character's backstories which, alone, could make up for the horror aspect. Unfortunately, I don't think Sankarea really knows what it wants to be. There are serious moments they seem to brush over and long interludes where it feels like they're stalling. Still, I was very impressed with just ...

I was excited for this season after the first one being surprisingly good but the first half, in my opinion, was painfully slow. It focused less on drama sorta connected to the band and just drama amongst themselves which they played off as band-related issues. However, over halfway through I think it pulled itself back together and concluded a lot of the problems in a nice way that left me in tears. I especially enjoyed it since Oumae does not seem to express any of her own thoughts until the end and so I felt very impacted by it. I don't think it's necessary to ...
