Why you should watch Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon?
But first, why you might not like this anime. If you do not like Yuri, and are sick of gay relationship then you should not watch it. If you do not like Slice of Life (and I mean that in this show almost no plot just cute dragons and several people trying to have fun and enjoy their lives) this is definitely not your show. And if you hate fan service in any form. Now that I have done everything possible to weed out all the people who can not appreciate this ... anime. We can move on to why I simply adore it at the moment.
Despite the fact that it is incredibly funny show full of very ironic humor (cursed black dragon that plays dark souls). And the amount of cuteness in this show so big that after 5 episodes in a row, you risk getting to the hospital with diabetes. I would like to highlight three things that make this anime special.
Characters
The design of each character is unique and meets his personality. For example Tooru has a lively and open personality and she has a bright color hair and eyes. Meanwhile, in the design of Kanna much quieter character dominate white and pastel сolor. Also their design in the dragon form also
very cool.
Motivation of the characters
And I want to distinguish this specific point because I was struck deeply at how badly characters in this anime want to do what they do. How much Tooru wants to be with Kabayashi, with what pleasure she deals with housework. How Kanna wants to be a child. How much Fafnir wants to move from the cave with treasures and become otaku to live in the basement (irony again). For me it was an incredible surprise.
Atmosphere
What really stands out this anime is that almost every episode has moments that just very heartwarming. And the relationship between the Tooru, Kanna and Kobayashi very charming and sincere (it's hard to explain but the atmosphere here is incredible).
And that to me is not as important and more as a nice bonus Art and especially the backgrounds they are simply wonderful and the music is great and it is memorable.
Overall this is a very fun and cute anime I got a lot of pleasure from it and I hope that you too.
