Would have been great if not almost everything has cut out.
The base of the story is completly missing and the point of this OVA is nothing but just being all pretty from the outside with no real substance and being closed off quickly into a small neat package.
The Art is really pretty and well-done but even this doesn't deliver the full "vibe" and experience from the story. A lot of the plot is cut-out making the story very blant and making no-sense in some parts because of it.

Saihate no Paladin is a Good Anime to relax yet still be grapped by an interesting story.
The story feels very classic yet still somewhat unique, with a good pacing and progression this Anime carried me through the whole season. It only feels yet liek a small step from the adventure that has yet to come to make the maincharacter's goal come true.
What I think is good is in the Anime that we first learn a lot about the character of how he grows up, and about the people that care about them. It makes them very sympathic and gives a really good start off.

are not that special but they are interesting enough, the maincharacter is well, the maincharacter,being as oblivious to the world from how he has grown up in ,it makes it the perfect character to explore the new world just as the viewer does ,experiencing some new stuff Not only of course in the world but simply also just learning one or two more things from everything a small bit.
Coming to the Art & Animation I must say... the Art is very mediocre and the animation is average ,if not almost bad because it feels very choppy. Which makes me wish that they would put more money into it for an anime that actually kept me on interest. I am hoping that might improve it a little in the sequel if they have enough success. The same goes for the music, very mediocre, i just skip it.. that's well ,okay I'd say.
Overall I enjoyed the Anime and hope for more, but definetly not the gem for Animation and not an work of Art.

I enjoyed the first Season of Demon Slayer but not this one,
compared to the first, the first was like, it was really good, it had good atmosphere and passing and Joke's were like Okay. We got introduced into many new things that were interesting and the story progression was just fine.
But in this one it is just completly off, yes the art is good and the Animation but i expected something else from many people's favourite arc of this season.
The conversation's just feel off and the joke's are overdue or too strong, even for an todays-anime this feels just too strong and i must honestly

say that i felt sometimes kinda cringe and just awkward. The story progression feels slow and each scene feels stretched with worthless conversations... and it is just not interesting enough to get me.
I decided to drop this Anime to rather focus on different kinds of Anime that I enjoyed more and with this one i rather felt bored or awkward that it is not worth my time anymore. I was really - really looking forward for this continuation of the series after the Movie & Ressha-hen.
This is just not my Cup of Tea.

The anime was at first very controversial, but given the historical setting it is a very reasonable standpoint. People screw about this anime because the female lead is a girl that sold herself to marry a guy and is only 14 and the male is 17. People are bitching about this age gap (which is still consent age today btw) without considering at what time this is, this was alegitimite age of adultry. It just was how things were.
Now to the Romance, the Romance is the most wholesome Romance-Anime I have seen since a while, and i am kinda picky when it's about good Romance

Anime. The Characters progress and learn new things together. The Relationship is 100% consent and no one gets ever forced to anything!. The male and female character both supportive to each other and have sometimes the sweetest or even most heartbreaking moments ever.
It might not work everything at the beginning, but as the show goes it always gets some fix with some flex-tape.
There is that one female character i really disliked, but they somehow managed to still make fit her in again lol.
I don't think no character in this series is absolutely flawless and i think this ain't so bad.

I started with the Manga.
I strongly recommend the Manga, if you liked the Anime even if you are not an acutal Manga-Reader, Yes, I mean it.
I was a person who did not read Manga and then I picked up this highly enjoyable art of fiction which beautiful illustrations, including many Specials.
You didn't know how suprised and happy i was when i saw it getting adapted into an Anime!
This Reviews contains a few Spoilers about the characters itself (not storywise) - but they shouldn't be affecting you if you want to give it a Try
Story (8 - Very Good):

hard to find in common Anime today. The main theme of this Anime is Fantasy,
if you love Mythology, also evolving Sagas and Legends and MAGIC you will love it definetly!
This Anime is filled with them! And the Anime is also filled with many different kinds of loveable stories of other characters. Goddamn ,there are so many characters..
Many people have been budging aroudn it becomes of the Genre "Romance".
I have to say, it definetly does include Romance but not in the way you might think, in this Anime there are many different kinds of relationships including many different kinds of "Love". What is Love? Even this question is included in there for one of the maincharacters as Elias, you might already have noticed this very big man with a bonehead. He is in a rift between humanity and of a beast/spirit who is mentally barely maybe a child and in this story Chise is the teacher of it. A little twist as therefore, Elias usually plays the teacher for magic.
Even though Elias seems like a very dominant person first, Chise is indeed the leader in many ways through the series which makes sense making her the main character.
What I also love about this Anime is,that Nothing is rushed. If you are not a passionate person, this might trouble you, since character-developement is very slow in this. It takes a lot for the characters to even make a small step to change a little bit.
I write this review as the Manga is still not even finished yet.
Art (5 - Mediocre):
The Art is Something. In a meaning, whilest i definetly love the art of the Manga, you could say the Anime feels a lot different compared to the beautiful illustrations of the Manga.
They are basically throwing a bucket of bright colors in your eyes, that's how I felt about the adaption. It is SO COLORFUL and is also VERY BRIGHT.
While they tried to maintain the artstyle of the manga, i don't think they are not capable to truly captivate the original art.But it is not that bad.
The Animation feels a bit lacking and blantly though.
Sound (7- Good) :
The Sounds have a very unique and also traditional charm. It perfectly fits the series that indeed treasures the old legends and old traditions while living somewhere at the edge of London in England. It feels a bit weird at first, but you will get common with it and it will feel refreshend compared to many other Anime.
I don't think I ever heard themes like these in an Anime, which makes it Special.
The Opening I think though, is not very good. It is okay, i liked how they choose to make chise have an expression-dance. Not sure if people are common with it, but there is the art of dance where you try to tell your emotions through body language in that or hence lilke telling a story with your body that happens in the Opening.
Otherwise the Opening is filled only just with clips of the series but it definetly will not spoil you since you will have no clue what these clips are all about Lol. So i don't think they put a lot of effort in it.
Character (8 - Very Good):
What should I say.
Since this is already an very own unique of work, even the characters are. In personality and in appaerence. I mean how often do you find a main character that get proposed by a fairy-beast of wendigo that also kinda wants to eat you?
It does sound indeed weird, but there are reasonable explanation of how the character are build of how they are build.
Chise is actually japanese with foreign blood, she actually couldn't be more unique in the series of appearence and is well thought out. She is a special kind of mage with enourmous power. It is said the magic of witches lays in the hair, especially black or red hair, whats chise's hair color again? Red,yes. And she even has Green Eyes as Asian.
Just to make sure, Green Eyes with Ginger Hair is the most rare genetic combination there is on earth. With her ember hair, her green eyes she makes also the perfect colors of nature she presents. She seems calm, but you will eventually find out that Chise can be Like Fire (hahah....)
Anyways, stop with the simping. Because almost every character is well made :v
Enjoyment (9 - Great) :
I think you already figured out that I am a fan of Kore Yamazaki's Work Mahoutsukai No Yome. I do enjoy the animated series and the Manga very much and I hope for it too continue. As a Fan of Fantasy, including all the Magic and Mythologys this is for me almost a Must-Watch.
Overall (8 -. Very Good):
I still prefer the Manga over the Anime in terms of antmosphere, illustrations etc. but i still enjoy it either way. The Anime Adaption feels lacking in terms of atmosphere and Animation itself, i wish they could have tried it a little more.
This Anime has it's very own charms and it will definetly not become for everyone's taste buds so it is merely a question of Taste!
And No, This Anime is not Pedophile. I just wonder how People even come to that conclusion with a character that is not even human, living over 200 years old with the Mental of a 15 years old.
Either way, the Relationship between them is misinterpreted and not as romantical as you would think first, (YET). I see forward for the Characters to develope in the future!
As also first said, highly recommend for any Fantasy-Fans out there.

Do Not Watch This Before Higurashi: When They Cry Starting in 2006,
this Anime was mistaken as a Remake for it but has then cleared about to be a Sequel to the series. You Will Enjoy it even More if you read the Manga Umineko: When They Cry or played the Visual Novel of it.
The Original Sources are in Fact of both Series from Visual Novels!
Story ( 7- Good) :
This Story would say, many newcomers would barely see any difference from the 2006 in this one, hence it is definetly not the Same. Higurashi always has been a Chessboard of Looping Characters between different Paralell Universes

to achieve the goal that they wish for.
In this one a new Opponent appears compared to the 2006 one is why this series also goes into a complete different directions of events and also ends completly different.
I would say, You can definetly watch this series without having seen the Prequel or Umineko BUT everything will be new ,surprising and also confusing for you. That's also the case of the prequel, but they you are already covered up and do not have to be massively confused of what is going on. Everything is already cleares up, the only thing that changed are the events and being it a sequel.
It always has been in Ryukishi's work that the viewer is supposed to solve the mysteries, you will be confronted with mysteries. We call it the Answer and the Question Arcs.
In this case I must say, these mysterys have been much more less difficult and interesting compared to his prequel. The story feels a bit blant and doesn't go very deep.
I am a huge fan of the series, but yet still disappointed how it lost all of its Character starting from alone the atmosphere.
The Ending Was Okay but i wish for an OVA or some sort, they made it really nice but left me a bit feeling uncompleted.
But Since i am A Fan i Would say i am very happy they came up with an anime-sequel, even after so many years. And it was surely entertaining and captivating to watch
Art (5 -Mediocre) :
The Art is Okay. There are negative and positives about it for me.
When I first saw the art i was impressed and thought it looks really nice, i like the more defined proportions.
But, I really do not like how Plastic they look, which makes them seem less alive and characteristic, the art went into a completly different directions which also made the Horror seems kinda "artifical" and not really creepening.
Together with other stuff i sometime even felt a bit cringe when they tried to make Characters seem kinda scary like the ladder scene with mion.
So I am in a rift between good and bad, sometimes i liked how they made their stuff, i really liekd their opening for example, the world definetly i would say looks also some bit more defined.
The Animation felt pretty lacking though, except of course some Sakuga, but even those were kinda "cheaply" made and in a weird way.
I enjoyed gory scenes, i was pretty sad when they decided to censore it in this season though. Why are they censoring it even? It is in the horror genre god damn it! If you can't go with Gore, do Not watch Horror!
Sound (7 - Good) :
I definetly could notice the difference between the old and new characters in voice, but i was absolutely okay with that and the characters seemed to have a very good voice fitting to their characters and i did appreciate the hard work of how well they could copy it.
I also really liked the Opening and Outro's, they definetly have a completly different charm than the Prequel one's. Even if I liked the old much more in a sense of having their most uniquely and also kinda charm and songs and sounds, they had really good one's.
Although I would say I also liked the Opening and Intro of this One in All-Together (gou's and sotsus) . It was also a bit fun to analyze them a bit as well. And i definetly like artswork and editing
Character (5 - Mediocre) :
The Characters were okay, I have been seeing how some actually complaint how Satoko changed which makes me just.. oh well.. I feel liek they just totally ignored what this season was about. It is absolutely in the right that the Characters especially Rika and Satoko changed and you will see why. (again, if you are not common with hnkn2006 or umineko, i strongly recommend it)
I feel a bit bad that they did try hard to copypaste the characters, yet it feels very half-hearted and blant. I wish they could done have a bit more into that ,since the whole village and expecially the mains rena,mion,rika usw still play important role's in this Anime and Season. I missed here kinda a lot. I think they focused too much on Satoko
Enjoyment (7 - Good) :
I did really enjoy this series, it gave me nostalgia and i also had to rewatch hnkn again started rereading Umineko again. It was a wise choice Lol
As an old fan the series surely captivated me once again and i watch every single episodes when it just came out. Higurashi is probably my Nr.1 Horror Anime. Especially if you are into Gore and supernaturals and maybe are into mystery-solving.
Overall (7 - Good) :
It was for me a pretty enjoyable series, I really wished they did put more heart into it though so it leaves me a bit unsatisfying,a a lot felt pretty blant and the series feels a little unfinished what makes me hope for a special,ova or anything else to it. I am sure many fans are probably gonna complain, and i can totally understand. Though, I do not think it deserves to be seen as too bad. It is not super good either nor is it really bad. It is a series though which captivated me, but mainly because i was a fan and i have a lot of interest into the works of ryukishi as i find them in their concepts alone highly enjoyable. Which is also why my Score would be 7 as Good.
I must say this Show is very hard rate and definetly for individual tastebuds, the series itself also almost continuesly changed in quality and enjoyment for me. You just have to try it out yourself!
but i can unsure you, this is not a mediocre 0815 Anime and does also have it's own franchise

This Anime is neither really good or really bad. And it is honestly a bit funny how the reviews vary in that from being either good or bad.
It is somethig in the middle, there isn't really much of a point in the Anime where it gets super exciting but is more relaxed and I see potential of a continuation of the series as well which might be better.
Otherwise the Isekai-Concept is pretty average, I would think this one is just more for a girls-audience (aka Shojo) considering the pretty bishounen and Romance in this (It is not very strong so everyone should be fine with

it) even though i really also like the message behind the magic's power it doesn't difference very much from others, but the idea of all this could have indeed had more potential than what was shown to us and I think that's kinda a bit of a missed opportunity, the series lacks Characteristics.
If you are good with a casual show to watch for once, you can watch it. But it is definetly not an must-watch and not that great, but like i said at the beginning, also not too bad either.
I say it is Decent/Mediocre

Between Sailor Moon 1992 and Sailor Moon Crystal ( I do not like the artstyle of Crystal..) this is for me the most beautiful Sailor Moon I have seen so far and much likely a worth-to-watch if you love Sailor Moon. And the transformations as well attacking sequences are really enjoyably and fluent to look at every time.
The story at the beginning felt a bit fast but everything is kept as it should be. I yet have to watch the second part, but it is definetly hooking me and there is almost no space left where it is absolutely boring -. If they keep Sailor

Moon in this, i will watch it further. Overall, very recommandable for Sailor-Moon-Fans as said.
Might not suit some fews tastebudys since still everyone has a different taste, especially in artstyle, this review is not guaranteed

The Anime was quiet good, I enjoyed the first season very much as well the second season until midth. At some point I realized the story was going faster forward very much and you just notice the story gets rushed through. It was all in one a pretty good anime but the ending made the Anime just completly worse. Too rushed and not fitting in any way.

If you like Revolution and Fantasy, watch it. It is indeed worth to watch but it was a bit of a dissapointment how they ended it.
I don't see the hate to Emma though.
I recommend the Manga, Illustrations are incredible and you miss out a lot by only watching the Anime, it is really a shame what they did to the Anime leaving out many important characters,places and huge events that effect the story. Just - left -out...
