Listen, the story for this is fine enough. From the little I did I read I can admit, it was relatively interesting. However this book is written in such an annoying way it I feel genuine pain trying to understand the words. What is the problem you ask? The book does not EVER say who is saying what line at any point. Just straight up dialogue in quotations without a hint of who is actually speaking. Now I know you don’t need to say who is saying what for every single piece of dialogue when people are just going back and forth, but literally NONE ... of the dialogue ever says who is talking. So you have to just try and figure it out based on context to understand who is talking, quite the struggle when you barely know anything about the characters yet. It is incredibly frustrating not from a direct storytelling perspective, but instead from the writer clearly not knowing how to write. Please do not read this book, and if you for some reason feel like you need to, look up a sample of the first couple of pages so you can understand how painful this book is.

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is a delightfully serious but silly show about some guys, all nicknamed "Jojo" beating up bad guys with magic breathing. This season actually consists of two different parts of the show, in which there are different main characters that take place in different stories so I am going to review them separately.

Part 1: Phantom Blood
Part 1 of JJBA is generally considered the "worst" part of JJBA, but is still quite interesting and fun despite the hate. Phantom Blood basically starts with a man named Dio, who has a major role in 6 out of the current 8 parts, who takes advantage ... of a favor owed to his recently deceased father, to live with the wealthy Joestars. I won't spoil much but Dio for the entire part is like,"Hmm, how can I ruin Jojo's life as much as possible?". It should be noted that Dio becomes a vampire in the series, and the good guys have to use magic breathing, or hamon, to defeat him. All in all, this part gives good insight into the bizarre adventure that is watching JJBA, and I would rate this part a solid 8/10

Part 2: Battle Tendency
Part 2 of JJBA is one of the two parts that doesn't have major ties to Dio. Instead, this part stars the Jojo from part 1's grandson, also Jojo, fighting Pillar Men, or as literally everyone in the JJBA calls them, Gay Stripper Gods. The Pillar Men are very similar to the vampires and their weakness to hamon, but can like, eat people using their bodies in a way only describable by watching the show. Overall, Battle Tendency does well to extend the previous part, but also adds lots of interesting story and fights that are just amazing. I rate this part a good 9/10

Conclusion
JJBA is a show about bodybuilders fighting fantasy monsters to save the world using magic breathing techniques. This is a show I would recommend to anyone who likes anime, which is literally everyone on this site. Everyone who likes anime should watch this show, or at least give it a shot. I rate this season a 9/10.
