I am a great fan of Mizukami Shin, and this is my favorite of her works. The title story, Koutetsu no Daitenshi, is good enough, but the two gems of the volume are the first two stories, "Silently Give Yourself to Me" and "Strike Song." They are two of the most beautiful and perverted stories I've ever read.
Mizukami Shin draws beautiful men who actually look Japanese, and this volume, scanlated by the folks over at Fantasy Shrine, is a great example of her work. Highly recommended.

I hesitated to download Lucky-kun's scanlation, which was done by the wonderful Half-baked Scanlations, because it was Takaguchi-sensei's earliest BL work. I wondered how good it could be and suspected it would be dated.
Well, Mura's hairstyle is indeed dated, but that's the only thing in this wonderful story that doesn't stand the test of time. In fact, after reading the seven scanlated chapters as of today, the hair doesn't even bother me anymore. What's to like? Beautiful, clean art, likable, believable characters, and a humorous and touching story. The women I shared the story with have differing opinions about whether Mura or his step-brother Subaru ... |
