The main leads are charismatic humans with a passion to defeat the others (with both being half of the 'other' creature). Has steampunk vibes and badass fight scenes/action.

SUPERHEROES: the main characters dream of becoming a superhero that saves mankind for the good of all--both leads have their own charisma. Having "superheroes" or "quirks" is the norm, with villains appearing in streets of the city daily for these heroes to defeat. There is a superhero system where the government pays for their service. Very funny and good all round story lines.

COMEDY SHOUJO: The main protagonists are oblivious dense males with a goofy side to them and basically a girl involved is secretly crushing on them. Both animes have the same feel of humour with each unique characters that can easily be distinguished from the rest. Laughed my ass off while watching both.

SURVIVAL GAME: The plots for both includes having 12 people gathered and given a special cellphone in order for them to survive. The cellphone is what identifies them as a player, fighting to win a mysterious battle. Mirai Nikki is more horror, gore, and supernatural than Eden of the East as it is more innocent and has a lighter story. Both have a great love story that will let you sail great ships lol

TERRORISM: The main characters are named after numbers, Nine and Twelve (Zankyou no Terror) and No. Nine (Eden of the East) and their mysterious motives have something to do with the terrorist attacks in Japan. Also, a female characters, Saki and Lisa, are both innocent girls who ended up being a part of these events. Both beautifully animated, but Zankyou no Terror has a darker plot line as Eden of the East seems like a light and cute love story involved.

PHANTOM/DEMON SLAYING: Main characters, Rin and Yato, are both powerful supernatural beings as Rin is the son of Satan and Yato is a god. They both try to restore their honour and a place in the world, even for such goofs. The phantoms/demons in both worlds show a lot of similarities. Both set in modern day with supernaturals run the world.

SPORTS + BROMANCE: Both shows passion for sports, Swimming and Volleyball, for only high school students. Lots good humour, bromance, beautiful men, and badassery. Both main characters start off as rivals in both shows, but in the end, good teamwork and friendship empowers all. You'll learn to love all the characters as well. :3

GORE,ACTION, FIGHT FOR HUMANITY: Main characters, Eren and Kaneki, start off as average humans against the antagonists of the story, Titans and Ghouls, which both eats humans but later on discovers much more than their own being... Some characters are also similar, such as Mikasa and Touka, as well as the plot develops deeper--the man vs. environment (monster) conflict turns into man vs. society. Also, both shows have badass music.

LOVE-HATE RELATIONSHIP: Victorique and Kujou's relationship reminds me so much of Taiga and Ryuuji from Toradora! Victorique and Taiga are both TSUNDERE characters. They're both abandoned by parents, so they somewhat go through the same childhood experiences. Kujou and Ryuuji are both responsible individuals as they take care of their opposites and the girls rely on them heavily. Plots may have been different since Gosick is about mystery and Toradora is just an average highschool story.

MYSTERY GENRE: The main characters in both shows, Victorique and Houtarou, uses detective style reasoning to solve mysteries. They make detective work sound so easy since they are constantly bored and apathetic towards situations and others.
