A very enjoyable story, but the whole time I could not get over the whole wiping memories thing, it doesn't make sense and even if it did in the context of the story, there is so many legal and potential moral issues with it, at the end of the day I have to accept it is just a story and as such they are likely going to be plotholes and that is just one of them that really stand out to me, as a very logical person.

It would have been good to explore the relife organization more and even more into why Hishiro did a ... 2nd year of relife, i mean yes her first year was not a success, but it also feels weird that she got a 2nd chance, perhaps a rewatch will allow me to fully watch her character from the start again to see how she acted from the start and if I ever notice her support figure, before the audience is told who the 1st person was.

A great series hampered slightly by visuals and characters who seem a little stupid (I feel they ignore some really obvious things that are really important but overall good and i can forgive them for not just doing these because some of them would ruin the story and make the Ajin basically be a joke)

Though watching the first episode I almost just dropped it due to the visuals SLOW cg characters that look somewhat out of place in the world I believe due to the realistic lighting happening.

Facial animations are AMAZING compared to normal anime, seeing a smug or just the facial expressions convey so ... much about how these characters are thinking.
I also love the main antagonist a breath of fresh air.

overall don't let the visuals put you off right away watch 2-3 episodes and see if you like it I know I'm excited to watched season 2

a step up and a step down from the previous series
characters are way less annoying as they are more grown up but at the same time they try to involve to many
that some of the coolest characters are reduced to simply supporting roles and lose their identity
and the RULE OF COOL really takes over which made me sad sure its cool to have super fancy lasers and such but part of what i enjoyed about this series originally little toy robots with their own weaknesses and strengths but not everything is crazy super powered thing that can fly and blow up REAL WALLS in a ... single shot
and an odd point i had in the original series was when some of these LBX broke into the main characters house in like the first episode i was like yo why not just go pick up these toys that broke into your house and stomp on them or literally break their joints i was just like it's a kids show of course they are not gonna try something outside the box but I feel it got worse in this one aswell as there is a thing call a d-egg which from what I get the impression of its a hologram arena thing? that uses the fortified cardboard technology whatever it doesn't really explain it very well let alone my MAIN GRIPE how when people use it everyone is just like AHH well I guess we have to fight now and not just walk away through the hologram that surrounds us

don't get me wrong I don't hate the series I really like it
but it could have been better with less rule of cool and a bit more explaining the in universe tech
overall weakest link in the Danball series but still worth watching if you enjoyed the first one

This may seem odd but after watching the entire series i would say Tanya is not Evil not in any way you would really expect after seeing the picture for the series here on MAL

Sorry if i have broken the review rules 1st time posting

but the English name publicly given just throws off the series as what to expect and while i may be thankful its not just a series about a crazy Nazi girl like the picture and name seem to suggest together its annoying

but overall a very good series ... cant wait to see more i just hope she doesn't end up a crazy Nazi girl by the end as it would be a sad end for a otherwise very interesting and cool character
