I can completely relate.

I've been 5' 10" (178cm) since middle school and finding love was always difficult. I wanted to be that cute, average-sized girl instead of an awkward amazon and few guys I met really thought of me as "girlfriend material."

At first the story gives an almost impossible hurtle to overcome, when a tall girl and a short guy with height complexes end up falling in love. You almost think it's impossible, it can't happen (or at least I thought that). But once the characters develop into more honest humans, you realize that height doesn't HAVE to matter. You can't choose who you fall ... in love with, so nothing should stand in your way of accepting those feelings.

I learned a lot from this simple anime when all I was looking for was a lighthearted show to watch just for fun. Height DOESN'T matter. I think I can finally accept that look more openly for love.
