Both of these shows are very calm. They have soothing music, beautiful sceneries, and slightly quirky characters. Also, both take place in rather rural areas. Both could be classified as "healing" anime and they're perfect to watch when you just want to unwind and calm down, and the occasional (but more common in Amanchu) silly and goofy gags are sure to put a smile on your face after a long and tiring day.

Gakkougurashi!

They have a very similar general premise - they're both shows that in a way advertise themselves with sweet character designs, colourful and cheerful openings, just cute girls doing cute things. But in both shows, things quickly get more serious and you can see the huge contrast between the inital moe and the later dark, horror-like reality of the world. Besides that, they are both interesting and original takes on their respective "main" genres - i.e. magical girls in case of Madoka, and zombies when it comes to Gakkougurashi.

Charlotte

There are similar references and situations in both, and they generally have the same "feel" to it. They both have great music, which plays an important part to the plot at some parts. But although both of them have comedic moments and sometimes lowkey ridiculous gags, Charlotte is definitely more serious and maybe even a little bit "dark" towards the ends.

Both are sweet, lighthearted shows focusing on girls and relationships between them. However, in Yuru Yuri the "yuri" part is more subtext and there are surely less kisses than in Sakura Trick - but it's still very enjoyable.

Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru

They both are magical girl anime with a dark twist - but Yuuki Yuuna has a happier ending. The main characters are similar in both shows - the relationship between Yuuna and Mimori resembles the one between Madoka and Homura; both Fuu from Yuuki Yuuna and Mami from Madoka are "older sister" characters, who take care of other girls (but with Fuu being an actual older sister). Also, if you enjoyed the music and beautiful backgrounds in Madoka, you'll be happy to also find them in Yuuki Yuuna.
