There are many things that can make this anime dramatic or leave an impression of regret, but this anime adaptation feels bland and does not leave an impression of willingness. The character designs are all good, the story and plot are acceptable, and the music selection is also appropriate.
The worst thing given in this anime is the expression of the characters. It's fine that Tinasha is like that, but look at other characters like Oscar, his words are very ambitious but look at the way the anime adapted it, it's bad! Besides that, the side characters, just as a complement even though it's Oscar's father,
...
Lucrezia, even the Lanak they are all unimportant. It's as if the story only focuses on Oscar and Tinasha.
You can imagine for those who want to start watching this anime, don't be disappointed! Because there may be many of them who voice "it's useless to watch from the beginning if the last episode is like that!". It's okay to have a plot like that, but it must be emphasized again that this anime is not made dramatic and is very straightforward in its character expression.

If you want an entertaining show mixed with fan service, it's best to avoid this anime. There's nothing wrong when watching for the first time, you might think this is an anime about a vocational school that focuses on agriculture where the characters go about their school activities while the story presents things like undressing and other absurd behavior.
The character designs are quite good, although when I see Ringo I remember Renge from Non Non Biyori but this one is a teenage version that is rather boring and rarely talks. The depiction of the story setting is quite comfortable in the eyes. And all the
...
characters in this anime have strange traits. (yes, no one is normal!)
What this anime presents they always give a problem that makes the audience interested, but at the end of the problem, this anime immediately cuts it off. The plot goes like this:
a. The character (A) is doing something strange, then his friend comes
b. Because he doesn't want to be embarrassed, A reasons something else with unexpected things, then after this, an incident is usually included so that it enters the fan service element
c. Then the chat is diverted because the problem arises, then the problem is solved. Then the conversation is diverted because a problem arises, A and his friend immediately respond
d. Finally the problem-solving plan is carried out until the plot is completed, and then ...
g. they have fun but immediately enter another comedy of misfortune
And this anime omits points 'e' and 'f' about the results of their efforts and the plot afterwards.
This was exacerbated in the last eps. At first thought this anime wanted to be serious, but at the end was disgusted. Yes, a wedding attended by the general public and make fun of it and even openly hate the place. Ok, that's the right of your feelings, but does he not see the impact on the surrounding community (point c). And the MC says what's in his heart while wanting to marry 2 people (point d). Next (And this part is missing and jumps straight to when they want to go back to school accompanied by a credit roll and a scene of them on the way).
Very awkward! The comedy doesn't make the story interesting. Loud fan service is still not worth it because the fan service is never used as a way or solution. The Entertain impression is lost, because Ringo, who hope sings in public, is a very uninteresting character. The lessons that the audience can learn are just their plans, because the audience sees the solution in their way that makes this anime magical in the midst of chaos.

There are always interesting romance anime every season. I feel a little late to review this anime which sometimes feels like a plot template. And for this one we are treated to an unusual theme, the revers harem.
There's something so disturbing that the story can't go on without it, and that's the potato fairy RIRI. Playing it safe because it doesn't want to give away sensitive but extreme things like domekano, Romantic Killer directs things beyond reason, namely a potato figure who is summoned from a Visual Novel game played to overcome the country's population decline. Sounds like a promising story. I thought there would
...
be an isekai plot or some mahou soujo stuff going on in this. it turns out that this is what happened.
- Riri's coercion of the romance situation was outrageous. You think it's interesting and funny, to me it's not at all!
- The arrival of a childhood friend who changes his physical stature from his old self. To me this is normal and usual in romance anime plots.
- Forcing the situation to look like a game, and in this story even getting hit by the front hood of a car. For me this one is a bit cringe.
- The presence of a yandere figure from Riri's arbitrary coercion of not checking Kazuki's life history. This one is still acceptable
All of these points are still acceptable because Anzu's storyline can make this series comfortable to watch. However, 1 trivial thing that makes my rating low is the END EPISODE CUT. I don't understand, the story should have been made into a cliff-hanger where Riri was pulled from the association and couldn't meet Anzu, so making the story hanging will make us impatient for the second seasn. And what happened here. This anime cuts it off so that Saki gets a potato partner.
AND THIS MAKES ME FEEL A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED, BECAUSE THE RETURN OF RIRI MAKES MY PERCEPTION AS A VIEWER OF THIS ANIME THAT RIRI IS THE STORY, NOT ANZU'S LIFE WHICH IS ARRANGED BY A POTATO. PLUS KAZUKI AND JUNTA WHO ALREADY KNOW THE FIGURE OF RIRI, JUST WANT IT AND THERE IS NO CURIOSITY OR SUSPICION AT ALL. AND I HAVE TO LABEL ALL THE MEN WHO ARE RELATED TO ANZU EXCEPT FOR THE RICH GUY AS IDIOTS.
My rating from the beginning of the episode to episode 11 is 7.3. But because of episode 12 the proper score is 4.8.

Undeniably, the success of this anime is due to the use of many beautiful effects in each motion animation. The images for each character are consistent and good even though there are no significant changes from the previous prequel.
The opening music of this anime is the best in its season. Because of the animation standard of this anime opening music, it is already at a higher level stage and arguably this is THE BEST school romance opening music anime FOR NOW (March 2024).
For the story
Honestly, the story of BOKUYABA s2 is too simple, and I can say that THE FIRST SEASON WAS MUCH BETTER because
...
the two of them often met in the library and that's where Kyou's story and character development took place. In season one we felt the development of our MC's character and in this series, he just continues it until the two of them develop a crush on each other.
There are not many significant changes but what makes it memorable is that the studio that adapted this story is really crazy. The transition from one scene to another really makes people who are used to enjoying ordinary romance anime, instantly dumbfounded at the movement of effects shown only for the spectacle of the school romance genre. The rest is just fan service in the form of the viewer's POV.
the score for anime was 6.6, but because the animation was great it was 7.8
