- Both main characters are being chased by the government. - They have been treated in a very cruel and unjust way at some point. - They're not exactly positive characters. - Both of them are 'superior' to most other people - Nine is supersmart, while Kei has superhuman abilities. - There are terrorists/weapons/riots/bombs and stuff. - Both anime contain violence, blood, murder. - They have similar music. - And they really give off a similar feel in general. Also, there are some really emotional moments.

...then you might like Mahoutsukai no Neko add

-Both of them revolve around a world of magic and wizards -Traveling to different dimensions -Fulfilling wishes which must be returned in some way -Friendship and strong bonds are very important elements in both -There are twins! -And memory loss... -The stories get kind of confusing towards the end, but somehow everything becomes connected in a strange way that (maybe) defies logic, and is smart at the same time! I really recommend both!!
