This anime started out as an average romance school setting. The only thing is there here magic is a real thing. It seemed like with this anime they couldn't decide whether it should be old school or mecha so they combined it.... This anime doesn't really stand out from the rest, but it is by no means a bad anime. It was very enjoyable and hard to put down.
Story: The number of plot twists in this story is enough to drive a few people crazy. Altough even though I didn't know anything about Haratora(? idk how to spell mc's name) and Natsume I could
...
foresee who mc was actually and his backstory. Lot's of character development to be seen, it's all based around the friendship thing tho. :\
Art: Something about the way they did the hair rubbed me the wrong way so every time I saw it I would get slightly irritated. The art isn't bad or anything though.
Sound: I quite like the 1st OP and ED. Not to mention I THINK Hirata was voiced by Akira Ishida? or too lazy to look but whoever it was had a heavenly voice.
Character: Generic dense af mc + way too many tsunderes. Tenma was cute though he was the fluffiest thing ever. To be a little nit picky Natsume's constant misunderstanding and jealousy was annoying though...
Overall: It was a nice change of pace. If you like the average magic fighting + a little mecha(?) action and a dose of drama also the best teacher in the universe Ohtomo I think you'd enjoy it. The ending is a little half-assed but the light novel is still going and you can research on forums so not too much to worry about.
Thanks for reading ^~^

I charged into this anime not knowing the genre and the synopsis given to me was a little confusing so I didn't really understand anything but 3 guys are the mcs. I for one hate harem and ecchi. There are only a couple that I can tolerate. I saw a picture of Chitose and was like omg I have to watch this. First impression: this is ecchi isn't it, oh harem too great -_-. To be honest this anime has a terrible first episode that makes ZERO SENSE. It's one of those series you need to bear with the shit writing for a little bit
...
to see how good it is.
Story: Loved it. How it played out, everything ties together, all of it. At first glance it looks like a harem ecchi comedy story about three guys. NO. It's more than that. Of course saying more would ruin it so that's it.
Art: It's average but I could call some characters cute too so it's pretty good for 2011(?)
Sound: Music was nice and catchy. Condor(?) I didn't look it up for sure but I'm pretty sure it's Gin-san's seiyuu so that was nice. The seiyuus all portrayed their characters very well it was really nice.
Character: They were great! Except for Azusa which is really subjective because I hate tsunderes. I can't say they were very unique than normal but I did appreciate their personalities a lot. There's also plenty of character development too so it's all good.
Overall: This is such an underground anime. I think the genre and turned some people off and not to mention the first episode is blehh but past all of that is a unique and beautiful story line. This anime only had it's five minutes or even less of fame when it came out but I think it deserves better than that. If you can bear with the forced underwear shots I think it is a wonderful anime you will enjoy.
Thanks for reading ^~^

Minor spoiler alert idk if they really count as spoilers though
When I read the summary for this anime I was really confused so lets get a few things straight that may have just been me but I'll say it anyways. 1. Yukki is the MC with his assistant Inga 2. He's basically known as the "Defeated Detective" because publicly he's always wrong 3. His assistant isn't uniquely talented it's something different. She's not like a genius or something even though she is smart
Story: It was pretty good though the mysteries often rushed the resolution. If anyone has ever watched Detective Conan or Case Closed
...
they had the crime happen pretty quickly in the first 5-10 minutes and quickly got to clue gathering and there's a more in depth explanation and the audience can really feel the mystery. This anime doesn't really do that it's more like discover and solution at the same time. However, there was a nice little plot twist at the end though it kinda turned into DBZ & TG mix for a minute.
Art: It was pretty average. At first I couldn't stand Yukki's face but then afterwards I got used to it.
Sound: I really enjoyed the mystery solving soundtrack that always made me excited and reminded me of when my computer spazzes out lol. The beginning and end theme were nice too and the voice actors did a good job.
Character: I didn't really get attached to them. Yukki's a little bit of a sore loser and Rie is changes her mind about him so often it annoys me. The short hair investigator is kinda obsessed with Kaishou and that was a little irritating too. They don't really grow or show development and when they start revealing one of them's past the scene changes -_-
Overall: The story was so-so, the art was so-so, the sound was good I liked it, and the characters were meh. I've said so many bad things about it, but I couldn't bring myself to dislike it because of the very end twist and I really liked what Yukki said about humans. The mysteries weren't that bad even though they were rushed. It was all unexpected so that was good. They could've done better with the pacing and a little bit of the character but overall it was pretty good. This is a hit or miss anime. There's nothing great about if some of its charm really struck a chord with me and I think I used that wrong oh well. You just have to wait a little for serious plot action to happen. I think they realized they rushed things and slowed the mysteries down at the little because at the end I was totally absorbed.
So if you like an oddly paced anime with strange but somewhat lovable characters (Ingaaaa) and great sountracks I think you'll like it.
Sorry that review was so bad lol.
That's all thanks for reading ^~^

If you like nicely ended stories with much action and plot twisting you'll like this anime.
I had lots of mixed feelings of this anime. Ok first I love Tenka he is the absolutely best character ever, but the reason for my mixed feelings were they were constantly using him as an excuse. Like to get stronger, the reason for this the reason for that, like NO don't do that to MY Tenka!!
(please excuse my language)
Story- Ahhhh again it's like they used Tenka as an excuse too much. This is a giant jumbled animated version of producers continuously bitch slapping the audience. Like it seems
...
calm but then shit gets real and it's like noooo wait what? noooooo wait what?! that kind of feeling the whole way through. While I was watching it I was like I'm so giving this a 1 how dare they but then after it was like ehhh not that bad.
Art- It was pretty good. 2014 so it's relatively recent.
Sound- Nice soundtracks, and love the seiyuus (voice actors) they did a good job. Again I love Tenka to death.
Character- Might I profess my love again? I LOVE YOU TENKAAAAAAA!!!!! He is the best character ever. There are a few weaklings in the mixture of kick ass characters but in comes character development and they get stronger and somehow a relatively minor more like major supporting character turned into a kinda important character. I didn't really get why they did it.... You see many sides to all of the characters and you really get to know them well they did a really good job with that.
Overall- It was nice but so many plot twists it was kind of annoying. It's like Fushigi Yugi if you've watched it. It's constant get together and break up for the main couple that a side couple with max 3 minute screen time is better than them. That's what this reminded me of they kept going back and forth with one particular thing that I cannot say because it would be a spoiler. There was a light romance between some and I have to say it was super cute. So basically kinda annoying story, decent art, meh sound, (TENKAAAA) great characters, and it ties up really nicely in a present box for you. I'm sorry for my obsession over Tenka but he's just so cute and cool, just a giant precious cinnamon roll.
That's all thanks for reading ^~^

This anime is the stereotypical mc helps other people out scenario kinda like Gintama except they get compensation for it.
Story- There isn't really a main plot but the individual ones plus creep factor were pretty good.
Art- I've watched so many anime I'm really picky with art style. I understand this is 2006 but still every time I saw them it annoyed me to no end. Their limbs are so long when they stand up they're equivalent to half of a 5 story building. The way the moved really irritated me too. Sometimes Watanuki would fall and his movements were so exaggerated he looked
...
like a giant spider.
Sound- There are definitely some nice sound tracks especially when they have fuzzy and warm moments. The seiyuu's are good too.
Character- The mc Watanuki was kinda obnoxious fawning over Himawari every single freaking time he saw her. They went so classic with the straight man character, the silent popular guy, and the high pitched nice girl. There is a little character development. You see the mcs get closer even though Watanuki is still in denial. Yuko was a good mc too. I loved her childish and selfish personality towards Watanuki even though constantly watching him do work was annoying.
Overall- It was ok. The art was a huge minus but that's only because I'm so used to good art from modern anime. They really pushed the humor but it wasn't really that funny. Again all of this is probably the 2006 factor. The character designs weren't really that original, but the story was decent. They did a really good job with creep factor. If you can bear through all 24 episodes of 2006 art and repeats of kinda bad jokes you'll probably like it.
That's all thanks for reading. ^~^

When I first started this it looked like your average mystery anime, but it's actually not. It's ridiculously confusing and when you see the year you need to remember it because they'll show another one and in order to figure out what's going on you need to pay attention. If you don't it will get really confusing. They don't give the plot straight to you it's jumbled in pieces and you have to watch the full thing to figure it out.
Story- If you can understand it it's pretty good. Still the confusion factor is a minus.
Art- It was pretty average most of it was
...
red...
Sound- It set the mood well and I found a familiar voice actor and it made me really happy.
Character- Cosplay thieves, mafia, demons, immortals, what's not to love? I wouldn't say there is a definite main character in this just like they discuss in the first episode. Isaac and Miria were for sure some of my favorites. Their 'common sense' and how they get away with everything was so cute and hilarious. For some reason I liked some of the antagonists too like Vino in the end you see him in a new light and it's adorable. Character development? There is some for certain characters and it's pretty nice to see them grow.
Overall- To be honest I wouldn't say this anime was amazing and it really aggravated me my website refused to let me watch it in peace. There was always something wrong like the sound would turn off and I had to watch it on my phone. Anyways it has it's own mysterious charm. It's a hit or miss anime and for me it was a hit. If you can deal with them constantly changing scenes to completely different time periods you'll probably like it. I enjoyed it even though it didn't really keep me hooked on to it. It's just one of those if you watch it all the way though it just kinda sticks with you because it's so weird and random. This anime is like eating chocolate but it just tastes like air if that makes any sense. Like you expect more but at the same time it just feels like it ended. Lol I'll stop before I confuse you anymore bye.
Thanks for reading ^~^

Personally I don't really like slice of life in fact I could say I actively hate it and try to avoid it, but recently because of this anime I started watching slice of life. I first started watching this anime because my friend showed it to me. It was funny and you couldn't really feel the slice of life element in it. The producers love throwing in random scenes of just cats in the middle of everything. They'll be talking and then it's just a cat stretching. This anime is light-hearted and something you can laugh with your friends about. It's not the usual dark
...
and gloomy ending of the female mc dying or leaving.
Story- It doesn't really have that much of a story line. You have to watch it all the way though to understand some things but usually it's just Yukki and Yuta annoying Kaname and Shun trying to calm him down and Chizuru just acting like an idiot.
Art- It's pretty good I feel like they put lots of thought into the cats lol
Sound- They have nice soundtracks especially when they try to add in the slice of life element to it.
Character- I love the characters. Yukki and Yuta are my favorite because of the nonchalant attitude and how when it's just them two together you can really see the contrast between them. There's little to no character development it's almost the same the whole way through.
Overall- I liked it. There were times where they got sappy and it kinda made me cringe but overall the humor was good and I got pretty attached to the characters
That's all thanks for reading ^~^

I completely got the wrong idea when I read the synopsis probably because I read it wrong so I'll write a mini one of my own. Basically there are giant balls that can kick ass and have a bunch of cannons and can withstand atomic bombs. Then there's Qwenther and Havia who outsmart them and become famous and the whole story is just them figuring out the weaknesses and beating everyone else. Of course you have to have the teenagers be the ones beating everyone up though because that's the law of mecha. Even the commander is only 18 -_- not saying there's anything wrong
...
it's just so cliche...
Art- It was pretty average
Sound- I liked some of the sound tracks and the voice actors were nice too
Character- They do a good job with the characters and it's entertaining watching Qwenther always awakening his inner genius at the last moment and saving the princess. It's always funny when they throw in the pervert element of the 2 mc's too. The producers made good antagonists that made you want to smack them and it brings out the mc's good points even more. There isn't much character development though since they were basically at the peak from the start.
Story- Loved it. It was basically repeating but it kept be hooked the whole time just watching them fight Objects. They waste a lot of time explaining the plans and stuff though even though if you're a normal human being it's hard to keep up with sometimes.
Basically if you like action and a little bit of humor it will probably fit your fancy. You don't have to like mecha to like this. Personally I'm not a huge mecha fan but I really liked this anime.
That's all thanks for reading. ^~^

After getting many recommendations for this anime I decided to watch it and I was pretty surprised to see so many bad reviews for it. Personally I thought it was a good anime. So normally sports anime over exaggerate the sport and how people feel about it and this one was no exception. They made the high five seem like the biggest deal ever like it was all about connecting feelings which it was just it was a little too dramatic. The characters in this story were nice. I love how they didn't make a fussy little female mc like they normally are. She was
...
always trying to improve herself for the team, but it wasn't to the point where you would want to slap her in the face.
Art- It was pretty good. It was colorful and bright and it set the mood of the anime really well.
Story- I think they kept Riku's whole internal struggle going on too long. It was like they were using it as an excuse every time they got into a fight which was a little annoying.
Sound- It wasn't that noteworthy, not really good but not really bad either it was just kinda average.
Character- It had nice character development in the end anyways. They really grow up and finally Riku accepts all the hard facts and everyone has a nice ending/
Overall- I loved the ending since they tied it up. All the popular anime try to keep you hooked by saying 'oh no we lost lets have another chance in the second season *wink wink* you should watch it and see if they win' this one they were just like ok this is this. It's the end. I read online too that this anime was actually a dating sim and normally anime based off of dating sims are super annoying since the mc is obnoxious af, but this one was focused more on the actual team, the players, and the sport and less about them all dying for her attention which was good for me anyways. So basically this anime had good humor, good characters, nice pacing, and decent art. If you like sports anime that they don't forcibly drag out and you can deal with the losses and internal struggles you'll probably like it.
That's all thanks for reading ^~^

I decided to watch this because so many people have watched it and I regret nothing. I laughed so hard at the stupid things they did and how they constantly trolling the audience. This anime is basically random + random + Gin saying cheesy lines + unexpected endings. Everything about this is completely unpredictable. Trying to predict the opposite of what every normal anime would do doesn't work either because they find a way to screw up that logic too. I love how there were times where they just sat around and discussed how they should be doing something or how the company was dying
...
and how they were actually lying about that. You will absolutely love this anime if you like something with absolutely no plot but it still manages to make you want more. They spoof so many things and the most insignificant things come back to bite you sometimes too. They throw in characters you don't think you will see and they come back all the time. If you look it up on wiki it will have a bunch of arcs listed but only 10 of those are actual arcs which they spent 10 episodes fighting it out and talking about friendship and bonds which don't get me wrong is totally fine. They get serious sometimes too and it's kinda refreshing. I loved how they also added in so many inappropriate jokes later on that really make this anime hilarious and stupid at the same time.
Art- It started in 2006 so I thought it'd look like the old animation like Elfen Lied if you've watched that and that art style to me is unbearable but it was actually pretty good.
Sound- Some of the sound tracks are really beautiful and the voice actors were good too. I watched some other anime with the same voice actors and it really gives you a look at them from a different perspective and how good they actually are. Yunan from Magi actually has the same voice actor as Katsura and I absolutely fell in love with Yunan even though in Gintama Katsura was such a derp lol.
Character- There isn't really a strong character development since this anime almost has no story line but most of the characters are really loveable. I really like Gin's attitude and his love of sweets cuz I can relate to it a little too. All former anti-foreign people that fought with Gin were great too especially Takasugi. Even though they try to play him off as a bad guy you just have to love how cool he is.
Overall- If you can stand the random unexpected things that this anime gives you and just laugh while saying wtf to the producers you will definitely like it. I hate anime with no plot but this has become one of my most favorite of all time.
That's it thanks for reading.
