This was suppose to be a political thriller with a bunch of high-tech awesomeness, but all the cool high-tech stuff was definitely ruined by whatever plot it had going on. It was hard to engage whatever was going on. The animation is nice, the violence seems to be excessive but without merit for its reasoning.
I'm sure the original book held the reasons for these a little higher.
Basically, it was just overabundance of explaining, say it would give examples that never explained the whole idea. So, you are left with a half-baked answer that is never fully explained.
The whole "it's about the
...
grammar" part just reminded me that this movie should have been called "Grammar Nazi" than Genocidal Organ. I'm not sure the purpose of this half-ass plot, but welp, lol.
The music was meh, if you want a real experience, put on Ace Attorney Music behind it and suddenly this is way more dramatic and funny.
The character "Williams" was a highlight tho, only in the dub. He had Monty Python quotes, was generally a hilarious lift to a very boring plot. He did add a little of his Soace Dandy to this, lol.

This is simply an amazing anime, ahaha. I cannot help but laugh at every joke, every poke on this anime as I watch it. You can tell it didn't even try to go after it's original script, but that was the beauty of it, they made something boring into a comedy.
If you have a sense of humor, just watch it, you won't be disappointed. Just, the whole anime just makes you laugh as a whole and if you are watching it to be a serious dub? Then don't bother, it's not something most people would even watch. If you
...
are going to watch the sub, I guess you'd have a boring show? Other than that, watch it knowing that no one took it seriously.

STORY: 10/10
The story is based on humanity having dwindled down to a very small number within huge walls, trying to co-exist with "titans" that will try to eat them alive or just chew them up and terrorize them. The story is about three characters Eren, Armin and Mikasa and their trials and triumphs in a world where they are at a serious disadvantage. Eren is a determined youth, who wants to take down all of the titans, but doesn't have the ability to control himself to be able to do that, but he'll never quit. Armin is what I
...
consider the "peaceful diplomat" of the group, he's not violent and he doesn't like fighting but he uses his sheer guts, wits and passion to get the point across, but some people don't like him and view him as a weak character. Mikasa is a character with a big heart that is overshadowed by her still emotions, making her one of the best fighters in the whole series, her hardships make her a great candidate for fighting.
The plot continues and it's left with a cliff hanger that makes you want to reach out for more and more, you just want every part of this anime to show you everything. The way the anime touches on certain political and difficult issues makes me want to see it every week.
You can count on some major development with the three characters, seeing how people would act in a real dire situation and how the issues of having not enough room for too many humans would go. The titans themselves are just terrifying to look at.
Art: 7/10
I like the art, I love the fighting scenes I love how bright and crisp the animation is but I do not like how it has a 'gone over with a sharpy marker' look to it. The titans don't have this problem, only the human characters. That probably should go, it's really obnoxious and very noticeable, it looks like they messed up trying to be america or something...lol..
The titans are awesome to look at, there are so many different styles and their smiling or crazy faces just makes you feel terror in your chest if you were to see that. If you were to see a gigantic titan walking in your direction with a marred smile, you'd run knowing you'd probably get killed by it.
The backgrounds look so fresh, like they are real places. When you see the wind moving the grass around, you kind of wish you could take in the breeze yourself. y'know?
Sound: 10/10
I can't say anything bad about the music, it's spot on and always fits the moment.
Character: 8/10
Eren, Mikasa and Armin are the only characters that you should be allowed to get attached to in this series. You must know before going intio it that your favourite supporting might die or get killed in action. When you know that, you can accept that their development will be minor because they might die, but they'll die valantly, crappy or just get eaten in general. You might feel something or nothing because there is so much violence happening at the moment that you cannot process why these supporting cast characters died when there is SO MUCH going on at one moment.
The anime puts you in the shoes of the three main, if you get attached to those characters specifically? You can somehow get the emotion that they are feeling at the moment in time, whether it be sadness or shock or anger.
If it's about Eren, you feel what Eren feels at the time and etc.
The supporting cast is important and infallible, but you can't hold a gamble on if they'll die next week or not, lol. My one favourite sub characters hasn't died yet, so I'm surprised.
The titans don't seem to have a personality, they are just creepy and scary and terrifying to look at. The ones that are different or seem more threatening are much more scarier than the other ones.
Enjoyment: 10/10
I enjoy catching up with this anime every week, I enjoy the plot devices and I'm curious about what will happen. I'm interested in the politics of it too, which is weird. I like seeing the more 'elite' characters coming out now that there are only 8 episodes left.
OVERALL: 9/10
There are a few things it lacks, but considering circumstances, it's still pretty awesome. It could do better if the sharpy mark look was gone, if they didn't kill off so many characters every week so you can't get to know the supporting and if they told more about the inner wall politics and how they live much more.
The story is solid and even though people are giving it a 4 or 5 here and there, they just don't see it how most of us do. I wouldn't give it a 10 because the art style is so weird that I'm constantly looking at it and cannot look it over.

This is the second part of Ange's journey where she goes to help another universe in danger. That's her job, I guess. I felt for something like a universe being in trouble that there would likely be some action involved. Instead, it's Ange's meeting the new guardians which all of nice personalities, but when the whole anime has so many men in it that sometimes their personalities are not very distinct.
The only characters that seemed to even break a mold for me was Charlie and Francis. There is just way too many characters for there to really be characters
...
that stick out. I'm never sure how Ange felt about the characters bwho had feelings for her and they never round up Ange/Zephel ship that they had in the first one.
The animation is solid, colouful and bright. It's nice to look at, I like the designs of all the different characters. The music is light-hearted, no matter what is happening which is nice, but disappointing when something serious is happening.
I finished it because I was already watching it, I felt obligation to it.
OVERALL:
I'd watch it for it being a sequel, you get to see some of the other characters again and it's really bright anime. I wish there was a bit more comedy, I feel there could have been some really silly moments instead of all this serious, but light-hearted talks everyone had. I'd only give it a watch if you like bishounen, reverse harems and that's it!

I picked this anime up a long time ago on a whim, boy I didn't know what I was getting into.
STORY:
It's about a vampire wanting to use Kimera to continue the race. During this there seems to be a lot of Damsel in Distress on top of her being a vampire. The weirdest thing about her is that she has the upper body of a man and the lower body of a female. There appears to be a rape scene of some sort too, but it's just odd because Kimera looks like a woman/man or something.
She doesn't talk, which
...
is boring, she talks in flash backs but nothing else. She is fixated on this guy who helped her.
ART:
I like the art, it's beautiful and it uses a fun use of colour, but I have nothing to complain about but it wasn't anything super special.
SOUND:
The music was okay, it fit what it was being used for but it had no tracks I found amazing.
CHARACTER:
I think the characters were well developed during the story, but I honestly thought there should be more Kimera interaction and talking, I couldn't give a damn about her mostly because she was a silent character. Even in the end she had nothing to say.
OVERALL:
Bleh. Watch it if you want.

This is a anime from about 10 years ago, so give it a bit of leverage here.
Story:
The story is a re-imagining of the OVA, it places the characters in different places, in different times with slightly different personality changes. It starts with the greedy Inaho and she finds Mosquiton and forces him to make a contract with her. Every episode starts with her looking or searching for a piece of O-part that fits the key she has which is slightly annoying because that was every episode.
EVERY EPISODE, it was fair but it seemed like you could watch a few episodes
...
for the light-hearted banter between the Mosquiton & Inaho. It seems the darkness/adult-comedy/romance isn't there anymore, this more of a light-hearted/romance/comedy. Which, even though it IS the same set of characters, the storyline worked a lot better in being a dark comedy rather than a light one.
Some of the character's backstory is different, like Camille. She's not with Mosquiton and Germaine or whatever is his name is isn't just some guy who seemed like the bad guy at the end. I preferred it this way, honestly. Camille in the OVA added something, but her presence here seemed better to me, I don't know.
The ending episodes are the best, I wish they would have spread them out. The Christmas one was especially my favourite because it reminded me so much of how Inaho acted in the OVA and their relationship.
All in all, the story was fair, kind of fun and made you shake your head at Inaho, so I gave it a 6.
Art:
The art was alright for it's day, I believe that because this has been fan-subbed that the quality has been lost on VCRs. A lot of people complain about older anime because of this, but I don't fault the art or animation. I am sad that I couldn't give it a better rating, because the fun use of colour would have been much better and the animation much smoother and less pixelated had there been original dvd releases. So -- 5.
Sound:
Great! They use some of the old OVA music in mixture with some new tunes and some music that makes you feel like "Oh, this is getting good!" I loved the music, I have nothing to complain about! -9
Character:
I believe that in a light-hearted scenario that this is how the characters would act because there was honestly no darkness in this anime. Mosquiton was very light hearted and I see how he became very domesticated during the series. They were all the same basically but with two new characters: Wolf Lady and Frankie.
I liked the character's development here, it's very touching in the ending episodes. Frankie is often funny and I like his persistence. I think they add something to the series.
THE ONLY CHARACTER I DO NOT LIKE is Akito? Inaho's cousin? She is annoying, she acts just like Inaho and she reminds me of Sailor Moon? I don't know, it's just with Inaho being a frustrating ass, Akito comes in and does the same thing. When they are in an episode together, I just skipped one completely because it was just stupid. Even in the end, she was practically useless. There did not need to be a character to try to hog Inaho's spotlight by acting just like her, they show no family ties which makes her appearance more annoying.
Enjoyment: If you like Mosquiton, you'll like this kinda. In my brain, I think of this as a super sequel in my brain where it's a certain way so I don't think of Inaho as the same exact one in 99', because they are different in many ways.
Overall: It's a little better than decent, I found myself almost tearing near the end because I love Inaho/Mosquiton :] I think you would too if you saw the OVA

I enjoyed this story immensely, it had good character drama and a good character development and the story was fun and serious too. It reminded me of Trigun an awful lot in a way with exception that it didn't focus on just one character, but a few.
During the story it felt a little rushed and there was plotholes they never fully explained with exception of the black cat special epsiode "24" or whatever you call that episode lol.
The animation was smooth and was fresh with colour, the ost was amazing and worth buying in my opinion!
All in all, great anime!

I'm writing a review because there doesn't seem to be one for this one episode that is usually bunched up with the anime when you download it. This comes off as quite confusing because it tries to tell you what was going on during certain parts of the main story while trying to be separate at the same time.
It just kept switching to different parts to explain things, but at that point? I didn't care because the story was so far along in the main series that it shouldn't matter anymore unless you really think it was plotholes.
That's what
...
this anime seems like a plothole anime. I feel this episode should have been somewhere in the middle.
The answers you are looking for for plotholes in the anime are explained in this episode, but it's a little....pointless? I don't know.

At this point in time, this anime is one for gamers with silly jokes that mostly gamers would find funny. There isn't a whole lot to say about this anime because it was never subbed and there is only 5 english dubbed episodes or subbed, whatever. It's a decent anime, but be warned that finding it is not only difficult but it seems to be only in Japanese and I have yet to find it subtitled and I do not speak it.
So, I'd steer clear unless you know japanese. The animation is good and the characters seemed fun, but it was
...
just average considering it took most of the fun out of it when there is no place to actually view it in a language you might know ;(

Unlike some of these other reviews, I saw Hellsing first before the manga and watched only one episode of the anime before dropping it because I lost interest in anime. When I picked the series back up, I found myself enjoying the story immensely, regardless of the fact that it deviants from the actual story and goes in another direction.
I enjoyed the character development and I enjoyed Intregra's characterization here better than the other one on Hellsing Ultimate.
The artwork is nice and smooth to me, I don't really care about choppiness or anything like that I see it as good animating,
...
great uses of colour and just fine.
I liked watching Seres' slowly finding how she felt about becoming a vampire and how she dealt with it.
I would recommend this if you like vampire bad-assery. I'm watching the other Hellsing, but it isn't the same for me :(
