finally a manhwa with that elaborate style! both are dark otome isekai with a female protagonist who hates her family. Post-Possession Damage Control twists the script a bit more, but it’s still got that fun revenge feeling.

curse of reincarnation. a lady forced to live through many hardships wants to rest—maybe even eternally. romantic fantasy otome with magic and the traditional pseudo-european setting. the MC’s are similar, and the art style in season one of Solitary Lady resembles The Lady Wants to Rest. plus we’ve got generic black-haired ML here too. honestly i bet there’s more i’m missing, they’re very similar.

Melancholic longstrip manhwa with an emphasis on familial love. The tone of these series is what makes me recommend them; I’m surprised a recommendation hasn’t been made already. For those who haven’t heard of I Married the Male Lead’s Dad: don’t judge a book by its cover—the series is different from what it may seem.

i can't really quantify Why they are so similar to me, but they occupy the same place in my brain. like it's really a "if you like one you'll like the other" type of situation. for concrete similarities, we have: otome isekai where it might as well not be isekai; tomboy(ish) FL; nobility politic court drama (to varying degrees of success); and nice looking art. anyway just trust me.

i haven’t read something that triggered the sleeper agent tokyo ghoul fan in me for years but gd this did the trick. modern monsters, a sketchy emotive art style, and a passively suicidal main character who kinda sucks, has inner demons, and must fight his evil alter ego manifested??? i am thriving.

The Hero's Savior

Otome isekai where female lead influences the story and is confused when it changes. Male lead is the sort of pushy, self-interested guy who's only likeable in fiction, but that's okay. The Hero's Savior starts from childhood and involves time skips, so it's slow to get to the point, but there is a convergence here.

At first glance they seem very different, but we've got a female protagonist in an action/fantasy setting who has magical powers. Slow romance. Video game or pseudo-video game mechanics. Genre's are different: The Hero's Savior is otome isekai and I Stole the First Ranker's Soul is dungeon hunter. I like them both though.
