This is probably the best anime so far in 2014, not only proven by statistics, but also by how its new style gives off such an refreshing feeling.

... Story: 10/10
For starters, most people that get trapped in another world usually freak out and do everything they can to get back to their original world. Sora and Shiro on the other hand, they even point this part out, that they are not like the other people who do their best to return to their own world but to thrive in this new one. The story is filled with epic moments and plots twists that would make a person double over in laughter because of how hilarious and unexpected it is. Probably one of the most "aweseome" stories I've seen in a while.

Art: 10/10
One of the defining aspects of No Game No Life would definitely be its art. Its unique style emphasises on how important eyes are, and how they can be used to easily deceive people. The colour scheme has also been well done. The backgrounds are done wonderfully, giving a very splashy and exciting feel to the anime, modernizing it. The characters are also drawn out very carefully giving each and everyone of them a defining feature. Including the colours of their hair, eyes, you can easily distinct one character from another which is extremely helpful.

Sound: 10/10
No Game No Life opening and ending was absolutely amazing. It really gets to you. The electro music in the soundtracks and OST really gives it a futuristic feel. One of the best OSTs in this anime would be the one called "Now Loading..." not even kidding, the OST is called "Now Loading...". Well that doesn't surprise me since the opening theme song was called "This Game". Keep your eyes peeled for these ending and openings because in ONE of the episodes they actually "alter" the ending theme to match the story which was extremely thoughtful and well done. People who usually skip the openings and endings miss out on this so please keep this in mind while watching.

Character: 10/10
Like I have mentioned earlier, each of the characters have a distinct and unique trait which is not only defined by the artwork, but also by their personalities. To start it off, you have Sora, the brilliant virgin that loves his little sister but also wants a girlfriend. Then you have Shiro, the most kawaii 11 year old imouto that I have ever seen. (Kawaii = cute, Imouto = Little sister). The bond between Sora and Shiro is an odd one but odd in a good way. They have complete trust in one another and this anime emphasizes so heavily on how those two work together as one, together they form "Blank" (Kuuhaku). When those two are together as one, they are undefeatable.

Enjoyment: 10/10
There was not a second in this anime where my eyes were not gleaming or filled with tears. Tears of laughter or even tears from something sad. This series was just brilliant. There was not a second that I didn't enjoy myself while watching this show. It was absolutely awesome. Its hard to express my enjoy without going asd;flkasjdf.

Overall: 10/10
This was well done beyond expectations. Its exceeded everything I expected and went beyond that. I recommend this anime to all (except if you dislike ecchi, there might be a couple moments where you would feel uncomfortable.) Hope all of you can have feel the same enjoyment as I have from this series. Can't wait for the 2nd season.

What else can i say? This is probably my #1 most favorite anime of all time. Why? you ask, well for starters, I've been a huge player of the MMORPG Runescape for quite a while now and this anime just brought everything i have thought of that game into reality. This anime is designed so brilliantly and the story that the main character travels is one full of action, romance, and tearjerking moments. The excitement is also pretty awesome. Imagine yourself being trapped in a virtual world like Runescape and to get out, you must level up so that you can clear 100 floors ... of monsters and bosses. Its just some stupid game right? No, unlike any game you have played before, this would be the most serious game in your life since if you die in the game, you also die in real life.

(Don't worry i won't put any spoilers in my review)

For Story, i gave it a 10/10.
Why? First of all, it shows how much one's life can mean whether in the real world or the virtual one. The romance in this anime is beyond amazing. To be able to fall in love in an virtual world and then to bring it to the real world is quite awesome. The main character's love is able to surpass many worlds. It really brings out the romance in this anime and the realization of how strong love can make us. Sword Art Online shows us that with love, we can do anything, even beyond the laws of the world.

For Art and Sound i gave them both 10/10
The first Opening of SAO is just awesome. I would listen to it over and over again and memorize the lyrics. The clashing of the swords to the fizzling sounds of when things die is just so specific and precise that even if you don't like the storyline, its worth to watch it for the art and sound. The art itself is amazing. Asuna is so pretty!!! I love how they have made the details about all the things in this virtual world. I find that to be able to touch an area infront of you so that a menu can pop up is very amazing.

Character Development i gave it also a 10/10
In this anime, they really develop the main characters attitude changes through out their time spent in the virtual game Sword Art Online. Kirito (the main character) shows so much changes in his life and he becomes a completely different person than he was back in the real world. Sword Art Online may have just been a game, but it really matured Kirito in every way. He learned to take responsibility in this "game". Not just responsibility, but also to protect his friends and those that he loves. Great character development in this anime, it really shows the changes to the character throughout his time trapped in Sword Art Online.

Enjoyment: 10000000000/10 (10/10)
LOVED IT. Its awesome, fun, boss, and is a great anime for those that like a mixture of action and romance with a touch of fantasy. The openings are very catchy, and is a great adventure. As a gamer, this anime really shows things that have been pondering in my mind for a long time. Such a great show, i really hope for there to be a second season and even a third. Praying for it everyday.

If you had read everything above you would know why i rate it a 10/10 overall. If you didn't and skipped to the bottom well let me sum it up for you: ITS AWESOME. Every part of this anime is great and funny. Despite having some minor flaws, it is everything a gamer/anime lover would want to watch. I greatly recommend it to you all who are even slightly interested in watching Sword Art Online. If your friends told you to watch it, then listen to their advice because this is seriously amazing.
