First of all to anyone who want to give this anime a short DON'T

Regardless of how good the rating or how the review make it sound like you should give it a go..... DON'T

Shinsekai Yori revolves about a couple and they are mostly the main focus where Saki watanabe is the smart kid who is a irritating kid who messup plans of the adults.

Asahina Satoru her right hand man a mess murdering kid who see rats nothing more as a killing objects.

This Anime had a really nice concept were in the future people gain mind like abilities from ... the X-men able to fly for a short distance, create fire and defy gravity or create mirrors out of nothing.

Yet what this show focus on are lame story arcs like kids having miss controls of their powers unconditionally and then adult thinking they might posses a danger so they decided to kill them off but not in the expense of hiring a Cat to Stalk them and giving them a day to know that someone is going to kill them and then the kid just ran off out of the town making it more difficult to kill him. I mean if a person had powers they should be able to kill a kid right?

To murdering the 2 main characters friends and failed badly at it resulting in them copulating and having a child who ended up thinking that she was a rat and then helping them in the war against humans and killing of most of the humans with powers like flies.

To showing an arc about a friend who has lost control of his powers only to be then erased out of their memories and then being named X and then just left in the dust not sure even why they even made the character in the first place.

To having the first character being bad at using her powers and then the next day get no screen-time only to find that she is dead and the adults had killed her and their memories erased.....

To a huge war killing alot of people and the stop this mass killing kid on the lose use a distraction and then stop her heart using there powers and then end of story.

the main characters get married and give birth to a child.... yet i honest see no point of it they saved no one ???? and the world was the same just that the rat army or race where all killed off and put in the museum


also the writer decides something things more unique to make it hard to kill humans by having a "Death feedback" or Curse which prevents people from killing each other. making it seem really uncalled for and really a waste of time to watch since in the end if your not thought about it you can just kill everyone like at the end of the war arc. The show also don't feel futuristic more old and spiritual with people living upto 260 years old but uses bio chemistry to keep her young and then have no purpose in the story development at all.

In the episodes all these random things happen and to much argument for no reason. There would suddenly be a war outside the village where human like rats live and the main characters would just happen to be there and help kill the enemies for them which this rat was smart enough to ask 2 kids with "god" like powers to do.
whats worst is that they are more dangerous then human in terms of numbers and they are probably much smarter since human who created weapons decided to throw it away and no just keep it for a rainy day. apparently no government exist and they fell isolated in there own town.


whatever you do DO NOT WATCH IT i think most people here just review thinking that it is something that they are not used to watching or out of their comfort zone but for the sake of your life and time don't waste your time there are much better shows out there and more meaningful to watch

I really love this anime and seeing such low review from experts, who are know it all's i'm kind of piss please watch the show and rate it for yourself

First of this show is an excellent masterpiece if it had more episodes and of course budget. I'm not going to go through what the anime is about but its about a bad government and a group of "heros" are going to revolt again them using some underhanded means and ya killing people
(Spoiler all most ... all the good guys in the show DIE!!!!)

Story (8/10)
The story is good. Get straight to the point and give enough information for you to enjoy each episode. The main characters are great but some lack screen time and back story to actually make you feel an attachment. the first episode was very well done but it started to go off track and actually did not really show case what plot or mission they are doing or what significant changes where made with the enemy death would have loved to see them kill generals and stuff or taking control of areas to increase their army. but over all its a great story

Art (8/10)
Not the best but still it gets the message across and honestly its the eye of the beholder

Sound (6/10)
i really like good bgms from anime and this one do not offer alot especially when killing is done it would be nice if they had music that actually show case more emotion

Character (8/10)
overall not all characters in the story can get a 8/10 and i would say only the first few eps the deaths of the characters where a huge impact to be but it starts to get dull in between episodes and if you watch game of thrones i'm starting to see the trend in their deaths and my the last few ep of that i was not shocked at all. So if you have seen that show you will get the same reaction for this. Now that i'm writing this the king in the show is some what similar just that the uncle is the mastermind in akame.

Enjoyment (9/10)
when i first watched the first 7 or so episodes i gave this rating and i'm not taking it back as it really give me the enjoyment i needed i personally hope more anime have this kind of story-line where good guys finish last. :3 There where shocking moments, comedy and sadness in this show so it really is worth it to check this show out.

Overall (9/10)
one of the best in this season and new to anime history. Great for anyone who likes another, High school DxD or attack on titan.

Anime that i dont like get 9/10 while anime if like get 2/10 like this one.
Also my review get removed by the admins so often... can't people just speak their mind why is there a need for a guideline and it does not even spoil the show just that i dont like to include all the nonsense like sound, Art and story holy shit man does an anime review need to be a comprehension.

** FOR THOSE WHO CAN"T BE BOTHERED TO READ**

First of all i'm telling to just watch it is great!!
it has the good story concepts and really balanced characters for an ecchi anime, with not much weird angled camera shots like between the legs and other stuff when the story is progressing good if you want best of both worlds. fan-services are about 10~20% in each EP so not much for those looking for it. At the end of watching you will feel like its a normal anime but not at the same time because of the nudity.

END you can stop reading ... now.... just go watch and rate the review if you find it helpful and please watch at least 5ep before dropping it #justsaying.

Other Notes :

the main character is quite well thought out and he actually works to prove his worth and make's girls fall for him him that I can say is what a harem anime should be. Guys proving themselves it makes more scenes that way

other then that Sound,art are great too. nude scenes are well shown with good reason (most of the time)
most are due to fights but not just because they need to add fan services but it does add the realistically to the show
other reason well... you'll just have to watch..

wish there where more shows like this imagine one piece or bleach had clothes ripping apart haha
