Not only are their titles similar, but the male leads in both mangas have similar overconfident personalities. They're also both Tsunderes when it comes to the female leads. The comedy in both is hilarious. Their side characters are memorable and lovable. Both are well-paced, although Takane to Hana is more of a slow-burn since it has longer chapters and has a bit more serious approach to slice-of-life. For a 4-koma, Takane no Hana nara Ochitekoi's plot points don't drag on at all and knows when it needs to be serious while still maintaining its carefree high school setting.
