14-sai no Koi (Manga) add
"Two dorks in love" – is, imo, how you could sum up the main love story between Yoshikawa and Tanaka. It is simple, honest, pure and overall really heart warming. Sure, the story is mainly as easy as that, but this manga doesn't aspire to be a complicated romantic drama, so no point in judging it as such.

A "deeper" topic in the story would be the struggle with social "masks" that are so important within the japanese society, namely keeping up the tiring act, being praised for one's fabricated character while musing, whether you could ever show your "true self" to anyone, all happening on ...

Dice (Manga) add
Spoiler
"If you could change the world, what would you wish for?"

The answer may not be as simple as it seems. You only have one shot, so better not mess it up. And your decision is absolute.

Yun Hyunseok, the creator of DICE, also had only one shot; and he shot it, the ball went through the hoop, but instead of landing in the author's hands, it landed in the readers' faces. Oops.

Don't get me wrong; DICE is a blast. Once you start reading, you just won't be able to stop. The breathtaking art, the various and vivid characters, the precisely thought-out world of the story with ...

This concept is simply thrilling. The cruelty and genius with which the games are constructed just won't let you stop reading. Characters are vivid with interesting psychological portraits, thus make the games way more enjoyable and also dreaded for the reader.

Just like the protagonists, you as well will be haunted by the pressing question: "What's the answer?" And even though Ann offered an answer (while Mira offered another 10), I feel like there are as many answers as there are people in the Borderlands. Nothing is finite.

Better live your life to the fullest, so you won't end up in that twisted place!

The beginning of PN is mindblowing – kids being grown like crops for harvest? Now THAT'S original, that's the kind of manga setting, that could stretch on and on like Fairy Tail or (God forbid) One Piece. But PN doesn't stretch. The creators started the story with a very clear vision of what they want to make, and thanks to that, the manga is surprisingly straight-forward and relatively short. No fillers, no arcs leading to nothing – everything that happens brings the story closer to the end. Which is actually quite refreshing and pleasant.

The art is brilliant, not as much the characters, though. Especially Emma. ...

“Wow, this was really good.”

– That's what I thought after finishing the last chapter.

I’m a shipper alright. On top of that, I’m also a simple person, so I usually ship the girl with the first guy to appear. This manga, however, despite providing five possible love interests for the main heroin, didn’t make me ship, strangely enough.

I liked all the boyfriend/girlfriend candidates, they were all unique and all funny in their way. Sure, when Kae had moments with Igarashi, it felt wrong (i'm sorry, Yuusuke). I immediately fell in love with Mutsumi-senpai, because he always cared for Kae, always put her first and didn’t care, ...
