While our main characters don't look all that similar other than the black hair, but I feel their circumstance is and that they both start off as weak. basically 'zero to hero' story progression both mcs: have someone teaching them (even if one of them is an online sensei) wish to become stronger are learning how to fight/defend start off bullied by others battle difficulty with opponents increases

- from a manga to anime adaptation - gaining of trust is worked on in both series between the girl and boy mcs - Presents a situation where the male MC has to grow and mature to become something more (and to defeat the bad guy) - 2 teenagers going against a dark force // antagonistic groups - both present a male MC that had something unfortunate happen in the past - Both are action stories with supernatural elements - both have a potential love interest as part of the main story

Both are comedy romance where the couple is just cute all around and gives a warm fuzzy feeling when reading. The fluffy and funny interactions gets you going in the kokoro. So i think the common elements between these two is that they both have the same vibe and will make you chuckle. but yeah I wanted to recommend. <3

Both shows have a similar vibe and atmosphere where the main characters which both happen to be in a sort of academic setting, try to prove that they are/aren't in love with each other in a comedic way for us viewing audience. both are awkward but also hilarious in their situations.
