The character seems straightforward at first but has a deep train of thought that has him reasoning with himself as to why he needs to keep killing goblins so that he can deal with his issues and traumas and make the world a better because he believes that goblins are a big threat when they attack as a horde and force many horrors on innocents and thus is why he continues his rampage.
The anime has the MC that only feeds on the above source and has only ONE mission in his life. To. End. All. Goblins. Watching him at his best while dealing with hordes

Fortunately this was one of the very first anime i've watched when i picked up the 'romance' genre to dive into, The world is beautiful and Dusk Maiden of Amnesia being of the other ones i watched first ones, this anime gave me feelings of despair, emptiness, joy throughout and moments were subtle and intense at the same time. I don't have still gotten moved emotionally where White Album 2 touched me inside. Without going into spoilers its one of the ONLY kind of romance anime i've loved deeply despite how it all ended.
