The story revolved around a group of four students; the hopeless romantic guy Natsuki Hashiba (Natcchan), Tomoya Matsunaga (Mattsun) who is the playboy type, the cheerful and sadistic guy, Keiichi Katakura (Kei-chan) and Tsuyoshi Naoe (Tsuyopon), the one with the least words and also the smartest in the group. This anime begins with the encounter of Natcchan with a girl named Anna Kobayakawa on Christmas eve. He fell in love at first sight and since then he tried to get closer to her. I watched this anime months after it has finished airing due to time constrain. However, it is not to say that i don't anticipate this anime. The title itself is promising and inviting.
I love how the story is given some twist here and there. If you want to find logic, sorry you won't find it here. In fact nothing is logic when it involved butterfly effect. The illogical story is being told beautifully. It doesn't give you space to argue and it takes you into a mystery journey without you even realising it. The story is really great. You have to watch the first season because it will help you to understand the story better. The best of all, in the second season, it revealed more info about yatogami. Interesting isn't it? The comedy is balanced with the action. It was well developed from the very start until the end. Art: The art is great and awesome! What I like the most about this anime? The story behind the characters. What happened before they were dead. At first I never thought that angel beats would make my eyes teary. The first episode is surely packed with action and comedy. But then it started to bring the audience into the sad atmosphere when the memories of the characters are being told. Especially the Yuzuru Otonashi part. T.T
I cried and on depressed phase for days. Ok. I was a bit exaggerating here. Luckily the comedy is still there. Standing ovation to the hilarious dialogue and scene. Some of them stays in my ...

Natsume Yuujinchou

Natsume yuujinchou is one of my favourite anime. The action and the adventure is not too heavy. The voice of Hiroshi Kamiya as Natsume is very calm and suits the character well. I totally fall in love with him and his personality.
The characters aren't too many except for a few new youkai that were introduce in each episode. And speaking of the cute/funny Nyanko sensei! I wish I could have him. The story is easy to follow because it just mainly about the main character and the book of friend that consist of youkai's name. But you just have to bear with the sad ... |
