I was hyped for this anime, since I wanted to see more of my race being represented and such, but this was a huge let down. Spoiler free to my best ability
Overall: 4.6 (rounded to 5)
Story: 3
The story was very lacking, as the plot didn't truly kick in until maybe episode 3-4, and even then the plot was very weak. The antagonist was evil just to be evil, not much more which was a huge letdown. I know its only 6 episodes, but there was no depth at all, and I was overall bored.

story, which butchered the entire feudal Japan setting, and NOTHING at all is explained, which leaves you in the dark

The animation in some fights were VERY nice, and I was hyped in the first 2 ish episodes, and the sakuga in some fights were beautiful, but the overall animation and art was inconsistant and average. Some sloppy and downright weird looking 3d models were used, and the mechs and such did not add any beauty or good looks to the anime. The animation was alright

The sound overall good, I can't really say too much about it since it matched the show, and it was really just in the background. The intro is very well done (and made by thundercat which was cool) and the outro was not bad. Nothing crazy
Character: 3
This and the story have got to be the worst parts of the anime. There is NO depth, even though they try to create "sad" or emotional moments with yasuke and others around him. The only characters even worth complementing would be Yasuke and Saki, but there's barely anything redeeming about Saki. Overall flat and boring characters.
Enjoymend: 5
The flashbacks which occur in the first 2 episodes were very well done and I like them, but thats where the enjoyment stops because the show over bored me and made me extremely disappointed. The quality drops as the story goes on and I was not immersed in the story, but some fight scenes got me a little hyped
