The first thing that drew me into this manga was... this story could actually be happening somewhere on the street.
No super power, no over the top and impossible fighting techniques, and nothing particularly unnatural in the story.
Just pure strength and martial arts, street fight, friendship, and a little touch of romance.
The mangaka succesfully portrayed the feelings of a constantly bullied high schooler, Kamishiro. Kamishiro didn't have any friend, he was timid, and lacked in confidence, he was a misfit and struggle to find a place where he belonged. He needed to confirm his very own existence, that was why he started roaming on the street
...
at night.
Soon after, he was involved in street fighting. At first it was just to defend himself against bullies that picked on him, but even though he didn't want to admit it, the excitement of fighting, the fear, the anxiety, and the pain made the beast within him unable to resist the charm of street fighting.
With every battle he verified his existence, with every encounter with people on the street he gained friends and enemies, he gained experience and got stronger.
There, on the street together with his friends, he finally found a place he belonged. His holyland. And he would do anything to protect it.
The story went as Kamishiro fought people who wanted to destroy his holyland and how he got stronger with every battle.
The mangaka offered explanations about martial arts and even fighting techniques in a way the could easily be understood throughout the story. So you can pick one or two knowledges about how to become stronger by reading this manga. The story is really good, but it's a shame that the ending's not actually what i hoped for.
The art is good too, sometimes it's a little bit not proportional, but it's mainly realistic.
Overall this is a great manga and i really recommend this manga for you to read.

This manga is really good.
The story was about a newbie vet, Tesshou. He was dumb, lacked in common sense, and doesn't have enough knowledge about animal or veterinary world. But he could make it up with his absolute pitch, his luck, and his guts. He got a huge help from a nurse whom he worked with.
There were many medical terms in this manga, but it was described in a way that the readers will understand easily. Sometimes you can even pick up some knowledge about animals.
The storyline was created beautifully and the flow was good.
The art was also good. There were many drawings of animals.
...
Whether it was domestic or wild. Sometimes it would be drawn realistically but sometimes it would be drawn "manga way" to match the other characters and to show the cute side of the animals.
So, for everyone who likes animals, this manga is a must read.
Even if you don't really like animals or don't have any particular wish to read animal based manga, this manga can still be your choice for reading. Contradictory to the theme veterinary world that sounds serious, this manga is actually hilarious. You won't have difficulties to continue reading it after you read the first four or five chapters.

This is the best storyline so far of all yaoi i've ever read.
It might get a little bit confusing at first, since it required you to think and imagine all sort of supernatural things that have been going on in the household.
The people in this household are kotodama user, which made a living using words that contained power. They could make their business success, kill people, and all sort of things by speaking the words. In exchange, their body took damages accordingly to the deeds they did. The more horrible the deeds, the more damages their body got. Then, there are kami, human paper
...
dolls. They were made solely for the sake of kotodama users. The kamis absorbed their master's wounds and got hurt themselves.
It will get better and better as you read it. This manga contains multiple stories of characters in the household. Sometimes it's simple and funny, sometimes it's a tragedy that will make you tear up.
There are three of many stories that really touched me.
1. Raizou - Kon couple. Their story was a heartwarming one. It was about the bright Raizou who fell in love with Kon, a young kami who always questioning about his purpose in this world.
2, Genma - Himi couple. It was about a boy who loved someone he couldn't touch. That boy grew up to be quite a twisted man and eventually binding Himi in every way possible so that Himi will always be by his side for the rest of his life.
3. Shoui - Asari. This one is really my favorite couple. It was about Shoui, he bore a heavy burden as the head of the house. Since young he wanted someone to be by his side, someone he could trust, and that someone happened to be his kami, Asari. Unfortunately, Asari actually hated him. Nevertheless, Shoui still bound Asari to him and loved him until the very end.
The art was good, but not exceptional. There were many sex scene, actually almost in every chapter, but somehow it doesn't feel perverted, instead it feels natural. The only flaw is that some chapter are missing in online reading site. But overall, it's a great reading.
