Akuma no Riddle:
Highlights:
-action sequences are nicely animated
-opening/ending themes are find but depends on personal taste
-the yuri is there, sometimes
-don't think too much while watching it
Having only 12 episodes and way too many characters for it to handle, I have doubts on how Akuma no Riddle will do in terms of the development of its casts as well as its story and as it turns out, my intuition did not fail me. The characters indeed lack depth and development for viewers to sympathize with their hardships and trials, this include the two main characters Tokaku and Haru. The story didn't progress
...
much from the given plot either as one can already predict exactly what will happen except maybe in the last few episodes which in my opinion have plot devices coming out of nowhere without proper build up.
However, with brain turned off, Akuma no Riddle can be quite enjoyable. The fight scenes have such fluid animation and are so fun that I didn't even mind much that they are unrealistic and in times dumb and does not make sense. The romance factor, though not as well handled as the action do have some of its moments and are able to entertain for a bit.
In conclusion, if you don't have anything else to watch, try Akuma no Riddle, why not? Though it's not exactly the "I highly recommend this!" type of anime, it can be fun. just don't question it's logic too much, your head will explode

There are many type of anime viewers, and each have different taste. Nothing can be done about that. I present to you a review of the anime Ben-to
The premise of the series is very simple, people fight for half priced ben-to in convenience stores at night. The battle for half priced food has its own rules, supposed to be followed by the participant who refer to themselves as wolves. that's all there is to it.
Anyone who trash this anime because it doesn't have a deep plot, twists and much character developments is retarded. It's only purpose is to entertain you by comedy,
...
action, a tiny bit of romance and lastly fan service. Before watching an anime, you better set your expectations right so as not to be disappointed. Ben-to is really simple, that's its very nature. if the you hated it because the story is messed up and the events are random, it's not the fucking fault of the creators of the anime but yours for having stupid expectations and by being pretentiously deep.
Regarding enjoyment, it was a really fun anime to watch. The gags hit and the fight scenes are enjoyable to watch as well. About the characters, you will love some of them and you will hate some. The interaction between them are mostly the source of fun in this show.
Lastly, if you exclusively enjoy anime with deep plot and all seriousness, then stay the fuck away, as I said, there's nothing others can do regarding a viewers taste. but if you enjoy the occasional "don't think about things" kind of anime, I think you can enjoy Ben-to

I'm no expert so i won't meld with technical details you can google the plot and stuff so you won't read them here either so we go straight to my opinion about this anime.
first with the characters
Trigun could have been a great series, the characters especially the lead Vash the stampede is very promising at the beginning. He is a peacemaker that does not resolve to violence despite being a legendary gunman. Not finishing enemies off is not necessarily a bad thing, we have seen this in other series and more often than not, executed properly. That is not the case in Trigun, the main
...
characters purpose of "saving other people" is a complete failure having killed more innocent bystanders because he can't at least disable the bad guy before turning his back from fights. Vash's supposed strength is overshadowed by senseless deaths of people around him because of his lack of resolve and sense of purpose.
Another disappointing character is Wolfwood, what happened to him is just plain dumb. The supposed love interest Meryl is not interesting at all. Her relation with Vash is far from what you may really call romantic. then there's Milly, well, she's interesting, that's all there is to say. Lastly, the main antagonist Knives, He just popped out of nowhere just in time to lose.
Not only your respect for the characters but also your interest in the story degrades with each episode. Until halfway they are helping random people from random towns and then suddenly some bad guys wants to kill good ol Vash, but wait, I can't shoot them because it's wrong to kill, better get other people around me get killed instead. Because of these stupid events, I started not to care what will happen to these characters, I just bared with it until the end to see if the ending would be any good. Well no.
The conclusion just got there, here's the bad guy, defeat him BANG! the end. not at all exciting.
It's not at all a bad anime neither it is a master piece some people make it out to be. Watching this is fun at the start and at the end.... MEH.

To be straight forward, I regret ever watching this anime. it was a huge waste of time I could have been spent watching something more sensical. Anyway, why did I say that this is a bad anime:
>Characters: unexplained why they are like that and their origins. personalities and traits are unclear too.
>Story: I can't find it anywhere
>Stupidity: too damn high, count the number of times an enemy got away because they are busy with senseless chatter and really, the characters decisions defy logic itself.
piece of advise, if you like anime with good plot and likable characters, don't watch this anime

i don't like reading novel like reviews so i'll keep this one short, i'm not going to deal with the background of this anime but rather straight to my opinion about it.
One word to describe Sakurasou is DISAPPOINTING, I remember getting exited while watching the first part of this anime but after sometime, Shiina Mashiro's cuteness just wear out, there is nothing else about to watch in this series besides her which made it more disappointing because her character didn't get any real development in the end.
Another disappointing character is the male lead Sorata. It may be my personal preference but
...
i like watching male leads I can admire, sadly, after bearing to watch all his failures throughout the anime, there is nothing to admire about him. as the series come in to a conclusion, nothing changed about him and he did not achieve anything. One may ask, what is the point of watching an anime about him?
While the two leads are failures, the story didn't get the series any redeeming factor. The conflict just came out of nowhere and really is not the original focus of the anime. after being magically resolved, the anime just ended, that's it.
I don't need to discuss every flaw in this anime both minor and major to get my message across; I regret watching this anime. It has a few laughs, good fan service every now and then but the story did not actually get anywhere
