(Spoilers) Do not come here looking for some crazy, deep back story, any weird twists or love triangles. This is an extremely well done look into the daily lives of two people who from the outside looking in, live in two completely different worlds, based solely on appearance, as is so common in high school. One a beautiful girl considered to be the 'angel' of the school, the other, an 'average' guy, simply due to him not standing out on first appearances. However when their lives become intertwined, the boy, who feels he is not enough to be deserving of the attention of the 'angel'

learns of her day to day self, which is much different, not a typical turns into a dumpster fire or anything like that, but more, that she is, human, who has the same feelings and wants as anyone else. Both, you could say victims of the perceptions of others, the story simply follows the development of their relationship, and them building character for themselves and with each other, and the small friend group they are in. The show does a really good job of showing the ridiculous perceptions people have of each other in high school, and any other social places to be honest, basing their opinions on what they see so quickly, which our main character is damaged from with his past. As with all issues that arise in the show, they are there to help each other through, and the show is just a lovely slice-of-life romance, which is (outside of the scenario that causes them to meet) realistic. It's a great watch if you like to watch a very real feeling relationship between two people with their own issues, coming together.
Personally, I adored this show, as much as I felt awfully lonely afterwards lmao, absolutely reccomend it to anyone who loves more day to day calm, wholesome shows. one of the best romance shows of recent years by far, really hope they do make a season 2, but already started buying the LNs as I'm impatient
