Extremely dark psychological content (showing both the good and bad of humanity), both involve children/teens who are forced into a conflict of literally cosmic proportions, and both have depressing ends.

...then you might like Satougashi no Dangan wa Uchinukenai: A Lollypop or A Bullet add

- main characters are emotionally and physically abused - beautiful art - unique characters, you become invested in - both stories begin off light but gradually become darker and darker - violent and bloody - philosophical and psychological - deep literary allusions of classic books and poems - short intellectual reads - tragedy * S.K is Yaoi while 'Lollipop or Bullet' focuses on the friendship/possible romance of 2 young girls.

...then you might like Bokura no Hentai add

- both B.L - have softly drawn (delicate) illustrations - can be cute but dark (BNK is darker) - focuses on young adolescents and budding sexuality - bullied for orientation - stir up strong emotions (both happy and sad) - same air of innocence * B.N.K has bi/gay/ and trans characters , while K.N.S has only 2 (probably) gay characters

These 2 mangas have so much in common - I love it ^0^ Both can be dark at times, as well as occasionally humorous - consist of a large cast , involve past lives, magic, plot twists, violence, romance, a Victorian setting, morally gray characters, brotherly love (not in an incest way), a mystery involving an incident which occurred at a castle - many years before the main cast was born , and characters looking for the answers involving their lost memories (relating to their past lives.) And maybe, and I say MAYBE, imply shoujo/shounen ai themes - but mostly have straight *cannon* pairings in both mangas. Plus both have characters named Glen. Hmm ... it's creepy how much they have in common XD
