In both there are themes of mental illness, trauma, and family secrets. Though Boy’s Abyss has more sexual themes, both give me the same vibe.

Both characters are cunning and can use a tool to kill criminals. But in When Night Falls, it's personal. There's a bit of a cat-and-mouse game as well in both but moreso in Deathnote.

They both set in worlds where people turn into monsters due to their inner desires, in Libidors it's specifically about sex, while Jagaaaaaan's can be anything. Our main characters in both can control their desires to fight against the monsters.

Toshokan no Daimajutsushi

Though Ascendance of a Bookworm is an Isekai, Toshokan no Daimajutsushi is similar in that both main characters share a love for books and reading set in a pre-modern fantasy setting with a low literacy rate. Ascendance of a Bookworm is much more of an enterprising story, though Toshokan no Daimajutsushi seems to go more in that direction later.
