i haven't bought manga in forever but, last time i went, one manga volume was usually $8-12. how much does it usually cost in canada? are you able to find any manga in a local bookstore?

oh yeah i totally get it. i like reading using physical copies too but my home library is kinda outdated, i've already read everything and i'm too broke to buy anything new so for now i'm reading online :')
oh you read Fruits Basket! how do you like it? I have a good amount of friends who like it and I've heard many good things about it. this just reminded me that I actually kinda want to read it soon, once I finish reading all the other manga I've started (which prob won't happen tbh)
i definitely recommend Toilet Bound Hanako-kun. The first season isn't bad but it's a little boring and bad animation here and there. I definitely recommend the manga more, the anime skips over a LOT of good content

lucky :') I constantly have a big workload so I'm usually spending a lot of time doing schoolwork. I'm not entirely complaining tho. the saying 'your plate must be full in order for you to eat' has been motivating me a lot lately!
oh, I usually read most of my manga online/using apps. I don't really buy manga a lot anymore. I kind of forgot that you can actually borrow manga from libraries tho, so maybe I'll do that so I can read some new stuff C:
I just looked through the winter seasonal animes before responding to this and I listed anything that caught my eye as PTW. I saw Sakamoto Days, too! Isn't that a popular manga? I've never read it, have you? I think I'm especially looking forward to season 2 of Toilet Bound Hanako-kun. It's one of my favorite mangas, and it became one of my favorite animes when I watch season 1 alllll the way back at the start of lockdown.

I'm good too! Mainly just really busy but I found some time to come on here this weekend. Today I've just been cleaning around my house and doing a lot of schoolwork and studying. I'm taking a break at the moment since I've been on the studying grind for a bit long :')
Let me know if you ever start the manga and tell me how you like it! I hope I can find time to start it soon because I saw it's fairly short. I think it was ~50 chapters compared to the show being ~70 episodes and a movie long. I'm guessing that was due to a lot of filler though.
That's fine at least you're trying a lot of new things! Learning to play an instrument isn't the easiest task but atleast have fun
Have you taken a look at any of the winter seasonal anime? Are there any that catch your eye? I haven't looked at the list yet, but hopefully I can watch one soon... (and actually finish it inside of watching a few episodes and then not watching it for more than a year C':)

nice to meet you! and yeah i mainly added you because we both have cardcaptor sakura in our favorites but also cus we're close in age (i can never make any friends on here bc no one is around my age). how are you lately????
have you read the manga or watched the sequel for cardcaptor sakura? i've been wanting to atleast read the manga every since i finished watching the anime but i've always been too busy to pick up something new.

Lucky...this was the first year I didn't go trick or treating. I think pushing eighteen's my limit - oh well, got to hand out those super tiny mini chocolate bars that come in like, packs of 250. Fun, eh?

Ah, not really, just played cards of all things with my boyfriend for like, five hours straight..hah. Whatta bout you? Speaking of, was it hot as hell for you too?? I'm like, closer to Toronto - first Halloween it didn't snow or rain!

yeah it's for the MALoween event, it's kind of fun but requires a large knowledge of anime :P
