Urasawa is such a wonderful storyteller. His pacing is perfect, and you can never predict what’s coming next. I’ve already read Monster and Pluto, so I was familiar with his style, but 20th century boys takes things to a whole new level. The story spans 40 years jumping back and forth from one timeline to the other, and it’s more complex. It’s wild how he keeps everything so suspenseful while telling such a deep story.

I recommend reading Monster if you've liked 20th century boys
