It's really emotional anime in Miyazaki's style! One of the things I had to look, I found a wonderful, simple, almost childish cartoon about a Japanese mythical character – a kappa! totally unacquainted with the modern world.
Somehow, that full-scale project, that Japanese director Keiichi Hara spent five years, is overlooked. Apparently more people like to look at boobs flashing before his eyes, and rivers of blood than a fairy daily and an elaborate storyline. This anime makes us think about the problems which lives the modern world. It starts with fear, fear breeds violence..
Many years ago, drunk, nervous samurai killed his father, and the small kappa during the earthquake fell into a crevice and slowly dried up, turning into a kind of stone. After 200 years the boy called Kouichi Uehara found the "bizarre fossil" and, of course, brought home.
Kappa is a legendary nix from the Japanese stories. In the anime, he looks charmingly sweet. If I was a kid, I fervently wished for to get to know this creature. Coo is a miracle, surviving to our time due to successful circumstances.
There is a comparison of the human world and the world kappas; the main character repeatedly that kappas never lie! We are like ants to swarm in the cities, like bees in a hive are working every day, fussing, fumbling, strive to be "like everyone else", "best", we want fame and money, to vent our anger on weaker. But of course not all like that!
From the first seconds of viewing great drawing sets on a special way. I seemed to be plunged in my own childhood. An excellent story plus a great animated style: it looks like a mixture of traditional hand-drawn cartoon art and photo processing. The river, for example, looks unreal real! There is feeling that it is drawing over a digital image of water. Same thing with the sky: clouds – it can not be distinguished from the real thing. All of nature depicted on the high level. But, however, the faces of characters is simple as possible (Ku - as opposed to people drawn very carefully). So all look very harmonious and well. Also I really liked the sound!
It was interesting to see the evil of samurais. For some reason, I perceived their solely as a people of boundless honor.
In the anime addressed topics: child cruelty, molestation of the media, the friendship, the relationship between a boy and a girl, sister and brother.
Anime demonstrates what cruel and avid to sensations there are people sometimes. Particularly I was struck by the situation with the death of Hasan. Directed reproduced contemporary reality - all at once seized their mobile phones, but not to help, but to capture on camera in order.
Within two hours of screen time never flashed the thought that I was looking it for a long time. Anime looks on the one breath. I would like that to be more such good, fairy tales, like the story about the friendship Coo and Kouichi.
Duration of movie is near two hours and there is no innuendo here, the director realized fully all his ideas, and we'll just sit and absorb, digest, enjoy. Thank you ,Keiichi Hara, it was very tasty!

If to sort specifically, direction is bad. Close ups, delays, other director's counters are realized muffledly. Direction of this anime leaves much to be desired, but it is not because there are no "juicy scenes with pants", there is no silly humour, there are no heroes-adventurers who rescue each young lady who got to trouble. All the matter is that emotions are not showed especially plausibly. Really it was impossible to put a little more heart and soul and compassions in this work? Likely, the main reason for so mediocre work is that the task was to make an anime on this subject, to pay attention and quality of the movie was not among priorities. Matter in that, this anime has no the entertaining or art character; no ha-ha, no boobs, no girls taking a bathtub, no scenes of fight and other to what you got used in an anime.
Essence of this anime is not to strike you with stunning posing and animation, not to show violence scenes (which someone love that you spoke "thank God it doesn't happen to me"), not to strike you with masterly direction, not to surprise with something. This anime has the purpose to draw attention to a real-life problem, and to inform all about it. It is a history-propagation, which has the political character, telling without any lyrics about parents of the ordinary Japanese schoolgirl, about powerlessness of the ordinary person before the governments of the countries. And I deeply respect these unfortunate people who lifted such wave, what even governor admitted this fact.
Sense is not in posing and animation, sense is in the general history and feelings of parents which 25 years look for the child despite of everything. About any highly artistic things can't be speech in this situation. Many of us already lose hope for such period of time, and the sincere love and loss pain here is expressed.
Generally the verdict is that to whom is less than 20 years, I don't recommend for viewing. You will not understand anything, only scribble here spiteful responses. Don't wait for entertainments, something fantastic. You receive a dose of the severe realism which has been buttressed up by facts. It is not that thing which should be compared to a usual anime.
I very much condole with those who got such destiny - to be stolen. But, I think, these people need more understanding than pity. And I admire those who could pass through such difficulty and live the rest of life as they would like. After all it is disgusting that political conflicts of the state level ruin lives of innocent people.

You know, Japanese animation is the surprising thing, capabled to generate amazing, beautiful and filled with sense works. “Okami kodomo no Ame to Yuki” is very light animated film. Yes, it is light, eternal, capabled to cause memories of the childhood in the viewers. This anime struck me up to the depth of soul, it is difficult to say any words even, but it is not happen often to me.
Plot.
Yuki and Ame are ordinary children in appearance only. These are two children werewolves. When their father died (he is the last representative of a family of great antiquity of werewolves), their mother
...
, the ordinary girl, decide to move far away from the big city and to make a fresh start. Mother is compelled to hide them from other people. The husband werewolf died early, and young mummy didn't manage to ask him about his childhood.
But also this summary, not promising seemingly any intrigue, is capable to wake up interest of any person, possessing a minimum of the imagination and familiar with stylistics of the movies, speaking about a generation gap. What will do the mother, having remained alone with two small children? Where should she run when her child seek — in hospital or in a veterinary service? How to explain to growing-up children, that it is impossible to turn into a wolf on public? It is easy to guess that we are faced by the Great Saga about Mother. To be mother is a difficult work, it is so important and so heavy to have passion and smiling at a difficult moment.
In spite of the fact that it is the fairy tale, all events seem very vital and real on the screen. The director narrates measuredly, but it isn't tightened about problems of motherhood, a choice of a course of life and a growing. During viewing you don't look forward to the end and outcome, and you enjoy history.
Atmosphere.
Anime is easy. Atmosphere is absolutely noncommittal, any very touching and cozy. And all thanks to what? It is all thank to the details. These wonderful jars with simple wild flowers, a basin, the children's things scattered on a floor. The refrigerator which the Grandfather presented to Hana, friendly neighbors putting gifts … It is lovely. And it is lovely somehow in home-style, it is gentle and easy.
Whether probably to create such fragile, man-made harmony on the screen? Yes, it is possible. The world has been probably located somewhere near us and at the same time, such inaccessible. This world full of pleasure and patience in relation to relatives, love and fidelity to object of the love. But the most important, this world filled with admiration and respect for the nature surrounding us. All this absolutely inexplicably combines creation of Mamoru Hosoda.
This anime learns us not to be given and see light even where it already grew dim. Very light, touching and pure. In it there is no modern platitude. You know, after all even in our cynical world, there were still such spotless things as maternal love, friendship. This is the finest that exists, and it is necessary to protect.
Animation.
Fantastically traced landscapes and the very precisely given emotions of characters are brilliant merit of animators. Who is familiar with other movies of this director, that got used to careful posing of the characters, thus not weighted excess details. But that really strikes in the movie, so it is landscapes and nature elements. Spacious mountain meadows, stony gorges, freshness of the deep old wood with huge trees, the sky with expanding magnificent clouds, the gentle rural decline, a waving web with dew drops, snow-covered open spaces. All of this cause bigger delights when you know that the studio approached very qualitatively to work and used the real-life district for the animated film.
Music.
About music I have nothing to tell. That I wouldn't tell, it will be very little for such magnificent music.
It is necessary to smile when under jumping, but at the same time the pacified music wolf cubs run on the snow wood and when grown-up Ame aspires up to the very top of the rock, very much trying won't slip on wet stones, heart is ready to jump out of a breast. And at the end of the animated film there is "The song about mother" performed by Sallie Ann under whom it is already impossible to constrain the risen tears.
It is separately necessary to tell about the bound fabulousness and realness of this creation. This annoying social guardianship, quarrelsome neighbors, shortage of the money, any household problems, diseases. All of this are close to us. That is there is absolutely real world, with real characters who problems are quite household and habitual to us. But also at work has a fantasy element which recovers all picture. In spite of the fact that a fantasy element only one — it intertwines perfectly with the shown life and develops smoothly throughout all narration which doesn't seem tightened.
Brother and Sister: two ways.
To the Viewer, probably, will want to see something exotic in the relations and development of two young werewolves, but it won't occur. Despite two essences, children suffer, have fun and rejoice as well as ordinary children. Unless just animal pleasure is available to Ame and Yuki — rush on all four wolf feet down on a snow slope. The small werewolves, so lovely supplementing each other at the beginning of the movie, will go on own way at the end. Thus it isn't simple the decision between the good and evil, absolutely not, it is a choice of a course of life.
Summing up.
For me it is the best animated film of year. Such warm, gentle and at the same time fascinating animated film wasn't already long ago. If you want to see a qualitative anime about relationship, the nature and mysticism droplets — I advise you to look.

Work of Makoto Shinkai has caused me a lot of emotions. Perhaps the reason of this is energy, which his creation is saturated with, the special atmosphere and the elusive note that touches the delicate strings of the soul, making feel and empathize with what is happening on the screen. Makoto Shinkai is the rare author who managed to capture fully the feelings, emotions and thoughts of his characters.
Rushing trains; traffic lights; running gray clouds; drops flowing through the green crowns of the trees; weak blows of the thunder - configure the viewer on the right way, filling the space of emotions.
The story is simple again (but not stupid), and Japan is magical romantic oasis in the ocean of world stories. The plot is very simple and intuitive. Maybe it is naive, but human life is simple too. We live in the ordinary world with everyday problems. And Shinkai draws this world.
Words, accompanied by gentle music of thunder; a bright flash of lightning symbolize the birth of romantic feelings. Frame by frame the story unfolds that began with the little message and which resulted pouring rain of emotions...
And, of course, rain. It was that which brought together two different, but so lonely people in a wooden gazebo surrounded by a garden paths. She didn't have enough space and the courage to make a step forward. He must believe in themselves. They need each other. The rain always be a loyal ally, it is the indispensable condition of their new meeting.
It is rarely that you meet the person, who can divide your solitude. They learn to trust each other and look into the eyes of personal fear. This anime is ode to pure love that could happen in our time. Heroes have lofty feelings and subtle perception of the world. Romance shines through every frame. And Shinkai prepares the viewer to open end, hinting that anything can happen with the characters.
But in addition to the love in this tape there is the subject of fear and loneliness. All fears are fears at any age. I want to emphasize perfect drawing, thanks to which all seen as alive, and main characters ' faces look very realistic, displaying all their feelings and thoughts. Animation is detailed, colors are vivid and saturated and best convey the atmosphere of this anime, helping to feel the history. Dialogues and music enhance entire depth of the moment, creating the uniqueness of the atmosphere and the original style of Makoto Shinkai.
Forty-six minutes of pure romance, melancholic tapping of rain and the corporate landscape of affectation. Sitting in the garden of words is the rare pleasure, and therefore it has a special value.

History.
At noon on the brisk street young Jara rescues a cat from under wheels of the truck. The cat gets up on back pads and thanks Jara on human language. It appears that he is a prince from a mysterious Cat's kingdom, and now the Cat's king wants to marry him to the brave rescuer. He kidnap the girl. She doesn't wish to be the cat's princess, and loyal friends — fat Myyuta and the magnificent Baron will help she to escape from prisoner-of-war camp.
Opinion.
It is not simply next fairy tale about how the child had to go to a magic country

and there she met her fantastic inhabitants. This history is instructive which conducts the main characters to the last.
The history will give «food for reflections» — on what we spend time? What is most of all important for us? The girl Jara as a result began to get up before mother and to make a breakfast for she, to go to the cinema with the friend and when she heard that the boy, who was pleasant to her, now is free, didn't react at all to it.
In the film there is a mass of sendings to other fairy tales and animated cartoons. Therefore it will be much simpler to perceive it to child. It will be pleasant very much to children because it is fantastic, but thus this anime will be interesting to people in advanced age.
“The Cat Returns” is called exactly because it has something in common with an anime “Whisper of the heart”.
Unique style of painting for the European. Brilliant camerawork. Rare, but well-aimed and rather magic moments. The dosed balance of fantastic fiction and reality familiar to us. Music is perfectly combined with idea of this anime, it is worthy addition to a picture.
Interesting fact.
There is a favorite hairdress of Miyazaki — a short hairstyle. At the end the girl will have hair cut. This length of hair in his works symbolizes a growing.
From myself I can tell that despite simplicity of idea, it was pleasant to me.

History.
The action takes place in the future. Two character named Maya and Meguro, travel in space. But suddenly they find on their ship a hostile robot-androyd who wants to capture this ship. After a while, they realize that they have nothing to share, and they have one common goal - they want to find the edge of the universe. And so our heroes fly to a distant planet Arey to find the trurh.
Opinion.
What immediately caught my eye it's the most stupid expressions on the faces of the protagonists. Perhaps the only exception is cute inhabitant of the planet Arey which instead face was imprinted

heart (and it looks like suspiciously a cartoon character Valley). To be honest, I was expecting much worse. Cartoon scored a good panache for these years, and even there are computer graphics, but the plot came out mediocre, you can even say it was weak. The chip that "it's all a dream / vision" disappointed. Pleased that no one still has not died. This futuristic philosophy work demonstrates the different points of view on issues of morality, religion, truth, the essence of human life.
In general, the product of a single view. It will not please everyone.

Opinion.
Undoubtedly, Miyazaki and Shinkai already appear the first on the importance in Japanese animation long time. And if Miyazaki allocate with the general madness, irreality and fabulousness, regularly delighting fans; Shinkai differs dot and very strong prick in the heart, pressing on the most strong human feelings. Iit is all that is necessary to tell about them. And on their background Hosoda Mamoru is represented a certain businessman, rather than the creative person. He doesn't think out plots itself, he expresses a superiority of "machine" 3D style over classical painting.
Therefore if it is necessary to put emphasis on the western audience — more better candidate then Mamoru the hardly will be found. It is not known, it is professionalism or on the contrary, but he can from any picture, whatever the sense was deep and difficult, to stick together the animated film for the smallest on an exit . (This idealism helped him to revive successfully classics of Japanese literature «The girl who has subdued time»)
And «Summer wars» turned out cheerful jumping on canons and the favourite templates, seasoned with citing of classics and on conscience worked music.« Summer wars» is not so original. On the contrary, it is copied with "Digimons", as under a carbon paper, it is enough to substitute the correct parallels. And the futuristic picture of the world combines in itself favourite Japanese « not combined»: an old clan with matriarchy and virtual reality in the spirit of the third Children of Spies.
Nearly a third of a planet sits in the Network which called «OZ Country». This is curious hint unless anybody doesn't force to carry green points. By the way, always all networks in animated films are the evil if they don't act as a universe basis. Conservatives will always treat progress so. But for children this is most that.
By the way, «Summer wars» is a picture-maskimalist as well as any child. It is expressed almost in everything. The main villain is big and terrible and at first sight he is invincible. To win the villain — so the whole world. A family is surely ancient clan. To cry — so filled in a floor. Think - that so much that blood from nose. I can not to tell that it is bad, but also i can not to tell that is good. Certainly, pleasant music dips into the childhood, but weirdos from the virtual world strongly cast memories of lovely Pokemons.
By the way, about computer technologies. In a picture they play an important role. However as well as in life. Speed of their development is unique. It is terrible to present one "fine" day will come when the perfect technology will appear not so perfect and illusion of absolute protection will pass, when that is created by a hand of the person, becomes means of his destruction. Only six minutes. What is possible to tell during this time? For example, about infinity and depth of human knowledge, about a tide of life, about the Universe which is hidden in a book, about riddles of the past and movement in the future, about development and stagnation, fading and the birth, about loneliness among books and the real depression. What is it? Fantastic fairy tale? Madness, incarnate fear, a hallucination, surrealism, a sketch on writing-book fields, history about terrible loneliness of the child in the illusive world of adults? Or is it simply black-and-white melancholy of self-knowledge?
In Kikumana everything is based on associations

and mood: everyone understands how he or she wants. And we never can not understand a true plan of the author. This movie opened slightly to us a door in any not clear, but close to us, world ... and closed.
If you include music more loudly, you will feel effect"brain squeezings" more better. At some point goosebumps ran on my skin . It is undoubtedly reached by means of music which consists of classical noise and chaos of various sounds. These sounds oppress nervous system and cause unconscious negative emotional experiences.
In any case, Yoshiura Yasuhiro's work associates at me with works Shinkai Makoto, though they have different approaches to studying activity. One tries to comprehend life as it is, another does an emphasis on lyrics and the love drama.
After viewing this clip you set involuntarily by questions - Who I am? Who are you? Is the white mask with holes for eyes? Where I go? Why I live? Story. Main character Kimura Yui lost a family. The psychiatrist helps to cope with the pulled hard stress. On one of sessions the girl felt badly and lay down on a couch. Having woken up, she finds the psychiatrist in a blood on the floor.
"- Whether do you know something about Yunko Kanzaka's murder?"
"- Yes."
There is caption. At once there is a question: "Already end?"
Ideal epigraph to this roller is poem of Vladimir Vishnevsky "Oh, as the sofa came to an end suddenly". Probably, founders didn't have enough money for continuation shooting. It is a pity. The quite good series could

turn out. However the first and unique episode simply breaks. It is not open ending. It is not ending at all. I do not recommend to look: only frustration. (Itself looked casually: I thought that there will be an integral short thriller). Fiasco...
A monotonous anime based on exclusively human's feelings. Plus a little detective. The picture is subject, but incomplete and compressed. Characters are interesting. But aren't opened almost. The viewer sees any sincere throwings, but gradually starts to miss, for can't understand, from where they appeared in a plot … Posing is pleased. It is quite realistic. And it is qualitative. OST’s … Partly faceless, however, as well as an anime. But all create the same mood.
P.S. Whether did really money suffice? Maybe founders wanted to leave mysteriousness that we reflected and presented how to be developed events further. I think that. I will not be surprised, if the guy, who wrote the letter to the main character, appears the murderer. It is only guesses and as everything will occur further to solve only to you.

What did me push to look this roller? The name was pleasant. I expected from the film any wildly philosophical loading which should be submitted in intricate history. But what there was my surprise when any posing appeared only closer to the end at last. I will not tell that before it wasn't. Simply it reminded me the program for music listening, no more. So at once I warn is not any petty history about love.

tremendous trilogy! Here it is exact: open the reason and enter into the world of dizzy beauty. Plunge on an ocean floor and from there be praised to skies where you will meet the most improbable beings … And this travel is improbably courageous in the irreality. After all it is not simply video. This is immersion in the world of other, unknown Japan. Music of Kendzi Kavaya so accurately transfers the atmosphere and touches for soul, as difficultly to describe as far as everything perfectly turned out!
At first sight it seems, what there is a set of musical clips. And his founders probably wanted pleasantly to spend time and simply create a beautiful video series, being guided by soul command. But if to get accustomed, it is possible to find the ciphered thought which doesn't rush at once to eyes. Authors wanted to tell that each live, being on the travel between heaven and earth, bears the information mission. What is unites us? DNA existence. At the same time it unites us and at the same time it grants everyone identity. And DNA is not source of the imagination and dreams. It is necessary to change slightly something and the world can change to unrecognizability. Little change in a chromosome site - and we already in other, alternative reality...
