Lovenista was a lot shorter than NANA but it reminded me of it greatly. The deliquent in Lovenista, Hirumichi, reminded me of Takumi in NANA. They both loved the girl (Yun in Lovenista and Hachi in NANA), but they were portrayed as a playboy/ was a playboy. Nana (Hachi) was just like Yun; she fell in love quickly and often. Even though that Kyougo didn't appear a lot, he was just like Nobu- he even played the guitar in a band! The characters seem have a punk like fashion for both series too. Yeah, they are a lot alike, except NANA revolves around music and Lovenista revolves around makeup.

When I was reading Kimi ni Todoke, I got the same feeling I got while reading NANA. The plot lines revolve around different things, but it's about a girl making a new set of friends. In both stories the main character just wants to be be closer to the people around them. They both progress kind of slowly in the romance department though. NANA has a little bit more of a dark tone to it (adults in the real world), while Kimi ni Todoke is a bit more innocent (teens in school). You should definitely read both.

Myself; Yourself

They both start out seeming like your typical anime full of drama and revolving around school but you realize that it isnt your typical anime very early into the series. Both animes have a very dark background and there are always traces of something more sinister lurking around. Both uses forshadowing very well. I personally enjoyed Myself;Yourself more then School Days though.

Not only are there a lot of the similar cast, but also Louise and Shana both act alike. They both always go "shut up! shut up! shut up!". They also are very violent towards the guy they like (Saito and Yuugi) and they seem to be semi-oblivious about it (like you think they notice, and then they dont). It also both involves magic and fighting.

InuYasha

They are both about people (Kenshin and Inuyasha) battling with the past. Kenshin has do deal with his reputation of being the "man slayer". Inuyasha has to deal with Kikyo (dont know if I spelled that correctly). They also carry around weapons (Kenshin his reverse-blade sword. Inuyasha his giant sword [forgot the name]). I know this doesnt make them sound similar, but trust me. They have the same feel and immensly reminds me of one another.
