Obviously, both of them are about characters that have dreams of becoming astronauts and going through training to become one, though there is a lot more to this recommendation than just that. They are both life stories about the people you meet along the way and the struggles that you must overcome. These include the friends that you make, the family that support you, the mentors that provide you with guidance and those that stand against you and your dreams. These two manga contain a lot of tragic scenes in addition to multiple heart-warming scenes. I think fans of Space Brothers would enjoy the shorter, yet sweeter Twin Spica and fans of Twin Spica will get a lot out of the longer and more in-depth Space Brothers!

These movies incorporate a very interesting technique in its storytelling in order to tell the story of the life of one of its characters. The other characters in the movie are literally immersed into the lives of the characters giving a feeling that they were actually there, which in turn immerses the audience in their lives as well. Both movies are definitely very interesting to watch!

A lot of similar characters and similar scenes. Glasslip reminded me a lot of Ai's arc from True Tears (with a love/friendship falling apart, but comes back together) and Hiromi's arc (The jealous of one person's relationship with their lover caused them to act bitterly to them). All in all, of you loved those two arcs in True Tears, you should ignore the hate that Glasslip gets and give it a try. If you enjoyed Glasslip, you'll definitely find True Tears a treat to watch! Also both shows have chickens in them that represent some sort of theme in the show, so if you loved them in one, you'll definitely love them in the other!

The protagonists are given a mysterious power that allows them to repeat a portion of their life which is used for their own selfish desires. In the end though, they learn a very important and powerful lesson. Both shows even have a nice romance on the side! Though, Tatami Galaxy has a more unique style (both in the artstyle and execution of plot) while The Girl Who Leapt Through time is a bit more traditional. Also, Tatami is a bit more of a fun watch compared to TGWLTT which is a bit more serious throughout. Nevertheless, if you felt an intense amount of satisfaction after completing one of these series, the other will be able to provide you with the same amount, as long as you don't have a strong preference in the style of an anime.

A showcasing of the fun of being in a school club and how great it is it is to have true friends. Characters start off as acquaintances, but their bonds of friendships grow stronger as they help each other out with their problems. In Kokoro Connect, the problems are mainly interpersonal (what will the others think of me if they discover my secret?) while the problems that the character have in Tari Tari are mainly intrapersonal (What am I going to do now that this roadblock has come up?). Also, Kokoro Connect focuses more on a character's relationship with another character, while Tari Tari is more about a character's relationship with their club and how they get the feeling of belonging to it. Both shows also have a very lovely cast of characters and everyone who loved Taichi from Kokoro Connect will also love Wien from Tari Tari. Be warned though, that if you loved Kokoro Connect for its supernatural, mysterious and thrilling aspect, you might find Tari Tari a bit boring and if you loved Tari Tari for its more mellow atmosphere, you might find Kokoro Connect a bit too "over-the-top". Though if you are a sucker for stories where acquaintances form a strong friendship like I do, you are sure to love both shows!

Hibike! Euphonium

Although one of them is about a music club and the other is about a club that solves mysteries, both shows deal with common themes that affect high school kids (talent, jealousy, hard work). The main characters are also kind of similar in that they don't like getting involved in certain things. Both of them are also done by the same studio so they have similar character designs and they both have a lot of romantic relationship building without any progress (if you're into that thing). Sound Euphonium is a lot like K-on! at first, but later on it becomes similar to the festival arc of Hyouka.

They show a group of girls in a working environment of a smaller company that is trying to be more popular. Episodes are structured the same way where it's mostly episodic with a few arcs. Some episodes are designed to make you laugh, some are more touching and will make you sad and some are just adorable! Fans of Hanasaku Iroha who don't mind idol shows should definitely check out The IdolM@ster and fans of IdolM@ster that want to watch a show similar to it not necessarily about idols should check out Hanasaku Iroha

Excellent coming of age stories done by the same studio. Very similar characters as well including a stubborn loud girl, a more moody reserved girl, a bunch of goofy males characters and a strict adult that seem harsh at first. Those that love slice of life like Hanasaku Iroha should definitely give Tari Tari a try!

Same type of comedy revolving around quirky characters in bizarre situations as well as scenes where a character has trouble confessing their feelings to their love interest. Very similiar type of characters between both shows as well (bubbly love-strucken girl, one-expression male character, etc.). If you laughed hard at one of these, you will for sure laugh hard at the other. Nozaki-kun mostly includes jokes that make fun of Shoujo manga/anime, while School Rumble includes many jokes at Shonen titles. Also, School Rumble has more romance than Nozaki-kun while Nozaki-kun has more comedy compared to School Rumble (but both have a lot)

Both series start off with the Main Character losing their memories, forgetting who they are and make it their main objective to discover their identity. The main characters of both works are also accused of a major crime by everyone, (terrorism in Eden of the East and murder in K). Both series also have a female lead who believes that the main character is not the criminal that everyone is lead to believe and a slight romance is there. Both series also have lots of twists throughout the story.
