Definitely overhyped, but still a good show don't get me wrong
The plot is like an 8/10, pretty good for a supernatural/sci fi. I usually feel like the whole "my family is connected to the supernatural so I am too" to be overplayed, so the way she gets her powers is much much better and makes it feel less contrived. Its mostly episodic, so bear this in mind

its not re;zero or mushoku tensei, but its a solid isekai with good characters and a solid plot The plot, 8/10, The premise of only having trash skills but secretly they're op was no unsurprising in the slightest, but the way they're developed makes sense and doesn't make him seem like a god or anything. Finally, a good fantasy thats actually a fantasy.

Honestly solid show, kinda gives me Shield Hero or maybe Arifureta? but good vibes.
The Plot is a solid 9, very compelling but also simple enough. It doesn't really pretend to be something its not, and is ultimately pretty damn engaging for me at least. The characters are also surprisingly good, like an 8. There are like 10 different classmate all with interesting personalities, and his main companions are also relatively interesting. Mob kara Hajimaru Tansaku Eiyuutan is an incredibly charming anime that exceeded my expectations. I want to first introduce myself as a connoisseur of the fantasy adventure, and I pride myself on my taste in such. now with that cringey intro out of the way, this show truly is a fantasy gem that only comes everyone once in a blue moon. Honestly a really disappointing sequel to a series that had a lot of potential.
My favorite aspects of the first season were completely thrown away. What I loved about the first season was that we got to see rudeus grow into a powerful mage, and then use those powers to protect the ones he loves. Part 2 of the first season is phenomenal when it comes to fantasy adventure anime, and that means a lot coming from me. This however, is not that. Unnamed memory is a very endearing anime, about a cursed princess and a lonely witch. Surprise, they fuck. For some reason, some people seem to think that the pacing or the tone of certain scenes is off. I have litterally no fucking clue why they think this, I think the pacing is good and although a few moments could have had better lead up, I think they work well if you watch episodes back to back with little break. ...
