This recommendation is for the Dub of Hajimete no Gal. Both are comical and orientate around romance. You might think that this has been done a thousand times before, and you're correct. What makes these special is how they know they are cliche's. If you are just wanting to watch a light hearted comedy, then both Gamers! and the Hajimete No Gal dub will do brilliantly.

Absolute Duo... Well it says in the name that these people work in pairs. It is a fighting anime with some elements of romance with a young female character. Fighting happens, and it is interesting to watch, only one season, so you'll probably have to go and read the oriinal source for a continuation. Btooom!, though spelled in a peculiar way, is also a good anime. It has fighting, strategy and is a little romance sprinkled on top to create a cliche.

Someone died, who should investigate? A small girl? A man in a boys body? Sounds good to me. Erased is about a man trying to fix his past, save the lives of three girls, and his mother. All the while he does so in his younger self's body. You would think that this would make things more difficult, you might also think that this concept makes little sense.... Well you might be right, because his ability to travel back in time is never really explained. However, it is still a good anime, with a bittersweet ending, and some amazing music. Gosick is similar, it is a mystery, it has psychological elements to it, except it doesn't has time travel (well, it might, I've not yet finished it, in all honesty). It has some good music, humerous characters, and some interesting stories to tell. Overall, if you are in for a mystery mood, then these two anime will help you out.

In this day and age how can you spend your time better than watching violant acts of blatent terrorism? Zankyou No terror is about two kids playing with fire... And a nuclear explosion... You know, the normal things teenage boys do. It is a good story, as it involves these two kids trying to send a message to the public, all the while they evade being caught by Americans... Oh, and there are sme Japanese police, I guess. Code Geass is about people fighting for independance from The Empire of Brittania, which controls the North and South American continents (with a bit of other land). These people fight using Terrorist tactics, and are hunted down by government officials in a deadly game of chess. Both revolve around terrorism, and each have their own interesting storyline. Each one is well worth watching.

What do Assassination Classroom and Love Chuunibyou and other delusions have in common? Well... They both have wacky characters who you can fall in love with. Assassination classroom has a monster come teacher who provides many life lessons to his students and literally asks to die. His students are going through a rough time in their life, and are exposed to some new situations that help them develop as humans. The show really does good at making you have mixed feelings. Kill the teacher and save the world, or let him live and die horribly? Actually that seems pretty one sided when in writing... Meanwhile, Chuunibyou is about a few kids who have been exposed to "8th grade syndrome" (as it is called in the dub). Their experiances together help them develop and look inwards at themselves, and see what they really want from life. In the case of assassination classroom, Koro-sensai helps these kids turn into adults, while in Chuunibyou, it is their friendship that helps them develop and change. So both are about people growing and changing through experiances, both are are comedic, and both are great anime. You'll probably like one if you liked the other, because though they are similar, they are also refreshingly different.

Akagami no Shirayuki-hime
|
Both of these fantasy titles have a strong romance element that is present. The obvious comparisons is that Shirayuki-hime is set in a fantasy kingdom, with a female lead who seems to catch every male's attention. She is a nice, caring and compassianate human being who doesn't want to call men "Dogs" and mistreat them at any given second. Of course, she is a poor person, so maybe if she was an aristocrat she would be different? In steps Louise! Zero No Tsukaima, a male lead is teleported by the plot to this fantasy world, where he meets a horrible personality who kisses him out of the blue. I guess inprisonment has its perks? Well of course it does in anime. Louise is the polar opposite of snow white with the red hair (forgot the name of her). Louise is wealthy and also not very good at anything, so she takes out her anger on her dog... I mean familiar... I mean male friend... What is their relationship again? Changes so often I lose track. So anyway, if you liked Shirayuki-hime and want to stick to the romance / fantasy genra but want to see a new set of different personalities, then I would reccomend Zero No Tsukaima.

You like music? Good. Angel beats is about a load of young people who were killed. For some reason they were tormented, and forced to live forever in a high school. In this, they set themselves a target for the biggest bullies who ever died. Bullying this young girl who doesn't communicate well with others, they force her to develop new ways to manipulate her body for defense. In the anime, these stubborn children refuse to come to terms with their deaths and move on. It isn't until very late in the anime when they are forced to give up immortality that they actually move on. Up till that point, you are allowed to enjoy some of the most heart warming scenes ever put into an anime, as well as one of the best soundtracks. Charlotte tells of a boy with powers who meets other adolescents with powers. In the end it resorts to time travel. These kids, with fantastic abilities, are hunted down and tested on like lab rats for being special. As a result, the main character and pals try to save the others. The anime has a lot of good music in it, and has a few episodes that focus a lot on the band that you'll probably forget the name of after watching Angel Beats. Z something or the other.... Anyway the lead singer is blind. The anime uses impairments a fair bit as a way of getting you to feel for a characters situation. One of the side characters is mentally unstable, and only Z's music can calm him down. The power of music! So if you like music with a side story of action, then these two anime are well worth watching.

Do you like inflicting hurt on yourself? Are you a masocist? Yes? Then you will love these two anime. Prepare for the train ride of dispair as you watch these two series. You'll find yourself reaching for your phone and calling those who mean the most to you. Clannad is a school based anime, with a second season set after school (Clannad: After story). It tells of a guy who falls in love with a girl, solves issues for other girls, abandons someone close to him and emotionally abuses his alcaholic father. All the while, his friends slowly start to abandon him. Going their seperate ways until the point where they feel emotionally obligated to see him, because of the death of their mutual friend, who was their reason for talking to each other. (Did try not to spoil anything with that) In the end the anime does its utmost to cheer you up with what could be considered a gigantic copout, a utterly confusing ending, or if you are a bit of an oddball, it could even be seen as a good ending. Plastic memories tells of a guy who cannot get a real girlfriend, so within two months he falls in love with his robotic work partner, who he then has to terminate (That isn't a spoiler, since it is mentioned on the first episode). Along the way you will watch as these humans team up with robots to help terminate the lives of children, who have done absolutely nothing wrong. You'll find yourself crying as you watch the murder of innocents who were destined to become wandering psycopaths, thinking to yourself "Why on earth would they even make these things?". So watch as these two really pathetic guys score big, all so that in the end they can go back to square one. However, on the way you must remember that box of tissues you was given, for you'll be needing it.

Do you like death? What beats watching people die? Nothing really. Another will show you some very creative death scenes, very much like those out of final destination, just better. Meanwhile, Death Note will show you death en mass. People will die left right and centre and you might be the only one left alive by the time you finish reading this. So why not take a potato chip, eat it, and sit back and watch as everyone you know and love is killed off in Game of - I mean Death Note and Another.

Ai Yori Aoshi is about a person who starts an unapproved relationship with her childhood crush. The series has 2 seasons, the two never get together but the moments they share bring them closer together. It is set primarily in college and their home. Itazura na kiss spans high school life, college life, and finally ends with the characters in work. Very much like Clannad. Ai Yori Aoshi is a charming anime, however, if you felt like you could have seen more development and progression through life, then Itazura Na Kiss is a suitable fit.

Ben-to is about people fighting for food, and each one trying to become the best. Assassination classroom is about students tryng to kill their teacher to earn a load of money from the government. Both have action, comedy and surrealism. However, Assassination Classroom has more emotional impact, as well as life lessons.
