A group of diverse young men begin sharing an apartment, resulting in silly and romantic situations between certain residents. RnO focuses primarily on one couple and alludes to another, while Room Share has at least one chapter dedicated to all the characters. Overall they're lighthearted and sweet and are pleasant reads for anyone looking for BL with minimum drama (though chapter two of Room Share contains a trigger warning for rape).

The modeling industry plays a distinct part in both these stories (though in TnR only one character is a model and the other is a basketball player). They deal with themes of insecurity and struggling to find one's unique place. The main characters feel eclipsed by their partners' rise to fame, while the latter feel like they'll never catch up. TnR is much longer so there's more drama and it deals more with what leads up to the relationship whereas in Restart they're already somewhat of a couple. I thought the art in TnR was more sophisticated, but both are finely drawn and make for pleasant, light-hearted reading!

Kiba no Tabishounin: The Arms Peddler

While eventually Claymore and Kiba no Tabishounin diverge into totally different directions, they both start off similarly: two young boys are bereft after their families are killed, and the female leads take them in under the guise of making them their servant. The boys are initially a bit weak, especially compared to such strong women, but the during the long, hard journeys they face, they show remarkable growth. The female leads themselves both appear cold, indifferent, and, at times, morally ambiguous. They look out for the boys in their own way. They're also both part of a larger organization that dictates their actions and gives them orders. The setting itself isn't similar at all, with KnT in a western, almost steampunk environment and Claymore as a more medieval story, but both feature the supernatural, awesome weaponry, revenge, and badass characters.

Both are BL stories that focus on the darker side of love and touches on manipulation, obsession, and bullying, with both semes cruelly treating the ukes as toys to hide their feelings. The plots aren't very similar, but there are similarities in situations and characters, and I come away with the same kind of feeling from reading both.
