Where do I begin? I had herd of this before I read it and had herd mixed opinions so I was sceptical.

Having read this I can safely say this has left a lasting impression on me.

The character of Saki is so relatable and that sometimes we are all naive at times and we will do stuff to make friends without knowing the consequences just that in her case it leads her to sex & drugs and some awful people.

Unlike other hentai I have read I was emotionally involved in the story, as each chapter went by I wanted things to work out for ... Saki but the story just gets darker and darker.

As far as the art style its very good and one not only the best looking hentai I have read but also rivals a lot of great looking manga I have read before.

So I would recommend this a lot just be aware that there is some hardcore stuff here and its not for the faint hearted but if you can stomach it you’ll find a real hidden gem here.

Roujin Z is bad. People say if you like Akira you will like this. Now I like Akira a lot even though I think its flawed but this is just bad. The story is boring and is paced horrifically slow feels like its dragging, the characters are unlikable and annoying at times and have a lot of dumb moments and the ending comes out of nowhere and makes absolutely no sense. The only good thing going for Roujin Z is its animation which is quite good but apart from that this is not worth your time as it will be a massive disappointment as it ... was for me.

So last night I found Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan on youtube in its entirety so I thought I’d give it a watch. 90 mins later and I wanted to pull my hair out. Here’s why

Plot
So are anime here takes place in a seemingly normal slice of life Japan and our “Hero” Sakura walks in on our main “Heroine” Dokuro-chan and she has a towel round her body as she is getting changed and disgustid by this Dokuro does is turn his head into mince meat then brings him immediately back to life. 😒

And that pretty some’s up the show. Well no there’s another angel Sabato who ... is sent from the future to assassinate Sakura as he will be responsible for creating a world were all Women stop ageing at the age of 12 thus creating a Pedophile’s World 😔. Can you the shit were working with here. My God and its the same every god dam episode Sakura does something perceived as perverted by Dokuro-chan she kills him brings him back to life and Sabato attempts to kill Sakura. Rinse Repeat. Mind numbing every time.

Characters
Well I think it’s safe to say that the characters are not horrid but just annoying in every single troupe you can think of. There either wining, or being over the top but it goes so far its just unbearable. Case in point Dokuro-chan her self she’s loud, crude, obnoxious, thick as a plank of wood and for the most part just so unlikable in any way at all that by the time you get to the final episode and the show tries to go serious for a bit you just don’t care as you just saw Dokuro rip Sakura’s skull in half.

Also Sakura himself you would think he’d be more the straight man to Dokuro-chan’s insanity but no he just as unlikable as he just takes Dokuro’s abuse like a bitch and he doesn’t have one back bone in his body. He wines on about being killed for no reason but each time he just accepts it. I know its a comedy anime but that just really urks me. Speaking of “Comedy”

Humour
I could ignore how Bad the plot is and the annoying characters if there is at least some humour in the show but unsurprisingly the show fails at that too. You can see watching it there going for Excel Saga type of humour but they go so far over the top its just not funny. Most of the humour comes from Sakura being turned into Salami slices by Dokuro which just gets tedious and boring as each episode goes on and the gore is so over the top at times it would look more in place in a horror film not a comedy.

Animation
If I had one good thing to say about the anime it would be the animation is ok. The animation was done by Studio Hal Film Maker who are also know for Princess Tutu and for Dokuro-chan they have done a ok job and I would give it a pass.

Sound
Lets start with the shows opening which is nothing really to write about its just so so like the rest of the music in the show which is just generic music you would hear in any other slice of life comedy anime.

Now I watched the show in English and it’s one of the most grating and annoying dubs i have have ever herd and its such a shame because I’m a big fan of Wendee Lee and Johnny Yong Bosch but and I can’t blame them too much as they had to work with what they had but they don’t make it better but I put more of the blame at the show itself than the dub cast.

Summary
So to sum up Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan is one of the worst anime I have ever seen which takes a lot for me to consider something to be bad but Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan made it too easy. If you like over the top violence you may get a chuckle out of this and may like a bit more than me but for everyone else stay away from this for your own sanity.

Part 2

I said before that Clannad was amazing and After Story is just the same but this time the roller coaster of emotions goes further.

I don't really need to go too in depth because any praise I give After Story you can read in my Clannad review and here in After Story it's the same deal amaizng Story, music and characters.

But I do want to say what makes this to be me personally the best anime I have ever seen and I will try not to spoil the plot.

What makes After Story so great is that like Clannad's first season it takes you through every ... emotion only this time it's x100 and its tugs more at your emotions and I believe a show that can do that is something very special. There are 3 scenes which I will never forget that got my emotions going and it normally takes a lot for anime to make me cry (before this it was only Angel Beats and The Tale Of The Princess Kaguya which had) but this show did it multiple times and by the time the show ends you are emotionally drained but gives you that special feeling that you watched something really really special.

I can not recommend both Clannad and After Story so much as a whole they are the greatest anime I have ever seen and it will be a long time before I see anything this good again.

Clannad was a show I was first very hesitant about watching as it had been recommended to me by a friend who if I'm honest does not have the best taste in anime. But in this case he was right to r coco end this show and it's equal.

First will start off with the animation which looks amazing as you would expect from Kyoto Animation and is probably there best looking show along side Haruhi. The soundtrack for the show is also fantastic with favourite song being The Big Dango family which is played at the end of each episode. Now the characters and this ... show is a first for me as I liked every single character in the show. I have no issues with any of them what so ever with my favourite character being Nagisa as let's be honest she has got to be the cutest anime character ever and the nicest as well.

I would go into the story but that would spoil things so all I will say about the story is that it will take you on a roller coaster ride of emotions of laughter and sadness so make sure you have a box of tissue at the ready as you will need them.

So to sum up Clannad is one of the greatest anime I have ever seen but one thing maybe slightly better and that is its sequel After Story which I'm also doing a review for. But Clannad should be seen by every anime fan and if you haven't you may want to get on with that as you are missing out on a special anime.

As a big fan of Ghost In The Shell Movies and TV shows I thought at some point I would see what the original source material of one of the greatest Sci-fi anime's ever.

Before reading Ghost In The Shell I was at the time not really a manga reader so I went into it with a open mind and after reading this manga I was more sold on reading Manga and also made me love Ghost In The Shell more than I already did.

The story had already familiar aspects from the films and shows as well as other stories that I found very enjoyable and ... all have a great Sci-fi elements and being a big fan of Sci-fi I found these very enjoyable from Hacking and diving into the internet.

The style the manga has is some of the best that I have ever seen in a manga which impressive as this came out in 1987. One of the greater parts of the style are a lot the fight scenes and also all the depiction's of the future with all the technology looks really good and you will find it hard to find something that looks just as good.

Characters at first what I expected from the anime's but they are a little bit different in some aspects. The best example is the Major herself. If you have seen the anime you know that she is a bad ass and very self confident but also trying to find out what her purpose is and if everything is real. But one ting that the manga has that the film or the TV show don't really show is that the Major has a immature side to her and also if you thought she didn't take any crap from ayone in the anime then read the manga as she takes it to a hole other level.

I guess if there was one last thing to talk about it is and if you know anything about this manga is the infamous Lesbian Cyber Sex scene between the Major and 2 of her cyborg friends and really to be honest its not much to shout about to be honest and it only last's about 2 pages and its just a dream sequence in their minds being hooked up together with some kind of drug (Not really mentioned) and so I don't think its gonna shock anyone over 18 put it that way.

So to sum up the Ghost In The Shell manga is a classic manga that all anime and manga fans must read. Even if your just a fan Sci-fi its defiantly worth reading as it is a classic and a part of one the great Sci-fi franchise and in anime and manga.

This is the dumest show ever! Most of the characters are stupid and the story is really stupid and could have been solved quicker than it was and the main plot dosent come in till the half way point. But guess what:

I LOVE THIS SHOW!

Despite everything I have said above I can't hate this show as everytime I watch it i just laugh and laugh each time. Seeing everything that happens just brings a smile to my face and if you want to watch something without using your brain and just have a laugh this is the show for you.

Ghost In The Shell, where do I start? I first saw the film back in 2010 after my cousin reccormended it to me and at first thought it was good but a bit confused espcially as I was only a casual anime fan at the time and was not into much at the time.

But then a few days later I was sitting in my college lecture and the intro music Making Of A Cyborg just seem to creaped into my mind and all day it was just stuck in my head all day. So i decided that night I'd re-watch it as i thought maybe ... re-watching would help get the theme out of my head. And the 2nd time I paid more attention to what was going on and I can say at that moment I had seen one of the greatest movies ever.

To start of the musical score in GITS is one of the best in not just anime but in any movie full stop I mean it is so good. As I said before how Making Of A Cyborg got stuck in my head its that good.

Then there's the characters which for me is the main reason to watch this movie. I not going to mention every character but 2 characters stand out for me in the movie. Firstly Batou who is 3rd in command as a total badass and will put common sense before anything else but will do anything to help in brining in trying to bring down the puppet master.

The final character I will talk about is the main character Major Motoko Kusanagi (Total Badass). What can I say about her, she's great with a gun, class A hacker and kicks ass. In this film she is leading section 9 to try and capture the hacker callled the puppet master but at the same time she is not sure if she is what she is and even questions her own memories and existence but it is all part of trying to find the puppet master and not to spoil anything is very important in the final outcome.

Lastly i'm gonna talk about the animation. Nearly 20 years on and unlike a lot of 90's anime where the animation dose not hold up GITS animation still holds up and I think if you were to some up why a lot of Japanese animation is better than american style animation this is it.

So to some up Ghost In The Shell is a anime film I believe needs to be seen by all anime fans as its one of the main factors anime is popular outside Japan but also its just a damm good movie.
