To sum this anime up in one sentence: It's pure fantasy escapism dreamt up by someone where everything goes perfect for them.
of course this doesn't make for an interesting story.
Biggest problem by far is MC is waaaaaay too OP. Please nerf devs! He was given broken powers that let him overcome all obstacles easily making for no interesting obstacle overcoming. Anything that needs solving he can MAGICALLY SOLVE!!! (pun intended)
Literally the ONLY thing the MC has had as a setback is he can't read which is something we've seen a million times and hasn't had any actual real impact, they just threw it in

there to make the world seem more real.
Also with the characters have no originality.

MC = Kirito but even MORE overpowered, and with magic, but this time, his coat is WHITE! oooooohhh ahhhhh
Older Twin = fujibayashi kyou(older twin from Clannad) with silver hair in fantasy world
Younger Twin = mix between Fujibayashi Ryou(younger twin from Clannad) and Rem with silver hair in fantasy world. Hmmm, sounds familiar
Eashen Girl = actually a character who doesn't seem to be pirated from other sources but is a completely boring character nonetheless.
The bonds of everyone in the group is pretty much, this seems fun, lets go adventuring together! But not in an interesting way, like in a way a 5 year old dreamt up, with the characters and all the relationships feeling very 1 dimensional, nope, it doesn't even get 2 dimensional.
What did I like? The ice cream part was kinda cool I guess, this show wasn't my cup of tea. I loved the premise thinking it would be different from the regular Isekai stories, I should've learned from when I still believed in Santa. I didn't really like anything, anything that wasn't terrible was mediocre at best IMO
In Conclusion: If thought SAO was even better than sliced bread, but it would have been better with Kirito being overpowered to the ridiculousness and his harem needed characters who are a million times more bland, then YOU WILL LOVE THIS ANIME!!! CONGRATULATIONS, YOU FOUND YOUR MASTERPIECE!!!!
