Horimiya, honest to god, is my absolute FAVOURITE manga. I've been reading this since it's translation was released gosh been like 7 years.
The characters are written so well, they compliment each other, they have their faults, their weaknesses, but in the end, it all works out cuz ykyk.
There is the right balance of romance and comedy through out the whole damn story. The side stories, basically the whole manga lmao, is just SO GOOD. I might just be unconsciously biased since i've read this for forever but horimiya is peak comedy. Not stupid comdey, its G O L D.

I've reread this to many times while waiting for new chapters gosh. This your typical isekai, reincarnation, historical medieval and what not story but it is written SO WELL. and the angst is just so on point. If you want a cute tear-jerking family story and romance on the side because not gonna lie, not much has happened on that note, this is probably what you want to read. The plot and characters all have so much depth, ngl, i found Athy a but annoying at first but that's just me. I also kinda dislike Jenette even though she's innocent but her character's also written ...

Hmmm, okay so the fact that they're legally related siblings falling in love coz incest and what not might be a turn off for some people but personally i really like it coz ya know they're not blood related so not icky.
Sooo, the main character is your typical 'country bumbkin' moving to the city blah blah blah, she's easy going, hardworking, they typical main characters- that's the only part i don't like but that's jsut my preferences. Honestly, the fact that the brothers are cute probably adds to why i like this manga, but i also like their character development. sooo i recommend if ... |
