This manga gives very fluffy romance vibes, and the romance is very straightforward which is well done. Although it is kind of bland as a cliche shoujo romance, it's very cute because of the couple interactions and the incorporation of the gaming aspect.
Yamada-kun to Lv999 no Koi wo Suru displays the difference of people as individuals and if they're in a relationship pretty well. The characters don't have super deep personalities and the gaming parts don't seem super realistic in real life, but it shows good communication and is a cute light read with romantic and hot couple scenes which seem pretty natural.
