Mirai Nikki started off great, i started watching when it was about 13 episodes in.
As the episodes moved on I noticed a dramatic drop in quality. The characters slowly became terrible, save for Yuno. The characters were not believable at all. Yukki feels like a bad Shinji ripoff, but instead of having depth and character like Shinji, he really is just a little bitch. His abnormal tendency to forgive people who were trying to kill him 5 minutes prior is painful. Instead of giving the impression that he's desperate for affection, it just makes him impossible to like. His sudden personality

change to a terribly cliche, over confident "shounen jump badass" made me cringe, and even Yuno was awful in these stages. The direction of the anime seemed childish, like they were trying to be cool by adding action and plot twists. The art wasn't too bad, though it wasn't the best either. The OPs are fairly representative of the quality of the show. The first complemented the series and was actually very good. The second half's OP had such bad engrish i was embarrassed to watch it. Each week after about episode 16 left me disappointed, expecting the great stuff I saw in the earlier episodes that i loved.
After watching the whole series i felt like a had been taken advantage of. I realise that lots of people will disagree with this review, claiming Mirai Nikki is "badass", but to be fair, lots of people like Naruto. I really am not trying to offend people, other than Naruto fans, but it had to be said.
overall, i would say, if you're looking for anime that feels like shounen jump while being more violent, with sexy Yuno, this might be for you. overall i wouldn't reccomend it
