In both series, the the f-mc is popular in school whilst the m-mc is considered a loner, gloomy, etc. Both series involve where the f-mc helps the m-mc, and the m-mc becomes more sociable in school. The m-mc in both series, eventually joins the f-mc friend group. In Jaku-Chara, the f-mc helps the m-mc in a more direct way, whilst the f-mc in Horimiya helps the m-mc more indirectly (by being there for him as a friend) Horimiya is more focused on romance, whereas Jaku-Chara is more focused on the gaming aspect. Both have a slice-of-life feel to it, and are easy shows to watch
