First of all, my opinions on the anime of Clannad. (I haven't read the VN, so I can't comment on that.) I thought both were kind of average. They were fairly entertaining, but I didn't find them to be very special. I gave both seasons a 7, as well as the specials.
Art and Animation: 7
The background animation is pretty good. The characters not so much. The original Clannad artstyle was already hard to get used to, but by the second season I had already accepted it. However, the movie style is awful.
Soundtrack: 7

Dango song, which sounds different. While the original was like a lullaby, the movie version sounds more like a happy children's song. Is this good or bad? Well, since I watched the anime first, I'm more used to that version, but the movie version isn't excatly bad. As for the voice actors, they are mostly the same for both Japanese and English.
Plot: 7
The plot differs slightly from the original, as the plot centers solely on Tomoya and Nagisa.The plot is also faster, since it is a movie and it doesn't have a lot of time compared to the anime.
I noticed that the movie had a lighter and more comedy feel compared to the anime. Two reasons: a) The movie has quite a bit of comedic scenes, adn these stand out more compared to the anime since the movie is a lot shorter; b) There are less sad scenes, as there is no focus on the other characters of Clannad, with the only sad part being the After Story segment.
Another thing that's different is the ending of the movie. (I'll try not to spoil anything.) For one thing, the ending is more straightforward compaed to the anime, which ws slightly harder to understand
The movie does not have an "Illusionary World". Instead, the film has the concept of a recurring nightmare that Tomoya has. Of course, the lack of the Illusionary World makes the ending quite different...
The exceution of the plot was quite average. I felt that the film had slight pacing issues, adn I would ahve preferred more ofcus on the After Sory part. The differeces with the plot did not bother me as much though. I actually preferred the ending of the movie.
Characters: 7
The movie focuses primarily on Tomoya and Nagisa, again due to the short time. Unfortunately, this leaves very little time for the side characters.
Tomoya is mostly the same as the original. Nagisa, on the other hand, is kind of different. She seems more bold and outgoing in the movie. In the beginnig, after meeting Tomoya, she actively attempts to become friends with him. She's also more actve in terms of the Drama Club. Even before she met Tomoya and Sunohara, she was working hard on making posters for the Drama Club. She is also very certain of excatly what she wants to do with the Drama Club, and excatly what kind of performance she wants to put on. Overall, I like the movie version of Nagisa because she's bolder.
Sunohara is also mostly the same, playing the role of comic relief while having some serious moments. Tomoyo is still running for student council president, and she seems less aggressive. Kyou seems to have the position of Tomoyo's best friend, and helps Tomoyo with her election campaign. Kotomi makes a few cameos as the conductor of a choir. Ryou, Fuko, Mei, Yukine, and Misae are some other prominent supporting characters that do not appear in the movie verse.
Akio and Sanae are also mostly the same. Kouko is an expert in martial arts, and was also the advisor to the previous Drama Club. Yoshino has a different personality which I find similar to Akio's at times. Lastly, Tomoya's dad plays an important part in the After Story segment, but personality wise is still mostly the same.
Enjoyment: 7
The movie was entertaining, but nothing special.
Overall: 7
I found the anime to be better than the movie, but the movie is not bad by any measns.. I would recommend it only to fans of Clannad, since it presents a different take on the Clannad universe. If you disliked Clannad, don't expect the movie to be better, because it is inferior to the anime. If you haven't watched the anime of Clannad, you should watch that first, then check out the movie if you liked the anime.

This is basically what Fate/staynight could have been. The format is kind of similar to a trailer.
First of all, the animation is absolutely fantastic, and the soundtrack isn't bad either.
In this version of the Holy Grail War, the main character is instead a girl called Ayaka, whose family was involved in the previous war. She doesn't want to get involved in the present war (apparently they take place every 8 years now). However, she gets attacked by Lancer, and ends up summoning Saber. Who is male.
The rest of the OVA is composed of really quick flashes of scenes and battles. It's confusing to watch, and

I had to go search online for more info about the characters and such in order to fully understand the OVA. There are many battle scenes in the OVA, and they all seem to be really epic. Special mention goes to Gilgamesh's new powers.
The characters are similar to Fate/staynight, given that this was the prototype for Staynight. The Servants have been slightly redesigned, including making Saber male. The protagonist Ayaka seems to be the generic scared & shy girl type, but then again the OVA didn't really give much time to develop anything. During the quick flashes, we get a glimpse at the villlains, all of which seem to be very interesting.
The character who stood out to me blonde girl at the very end who seems to be yandere for male!Saber. Later online searches tell me she is named Manaka, and she's actually Ayaka's sister and a main villan. She feels kind of like Illya to me.
Overall, I think this was a really cool concept. I really wish the OVA was longer, as a few searches online gave me some really interesting information that I didn't catch during the quick flashes.

Went by way to fast. All the plot twists made no sense at all. The whole thing like your average cliché magical girl/fantasy anime, only worse.
Character: 3
All characters were flat. The ones that actually had some development, like the main character, were extremely annoying.
Enjoyment: 5
In a so bad it’s good way … And even then, not a lot.
Overall:
It’s just flat out terrible.

As a Code Geass fan, I’ve been looking forward to this movie for a while. However, when I actually watched it, I was a tad bit disappointed. The movie wasn’t bad, but it definitely wasn’t on the same level as the original Code Geass.
Story: 7
The plot has similar elements to the original series, with Knightmares, Geass, a war, terrorists, themes of racism, etc. However, the plot doesn’t seem nearly as interesting as the original. This movie was mostly dedicated to introducing the characters and the world, so perhaps we’ll see some improvement in the later movies.
Art: 9

beautiful. Personally, I didn’t like the CGI for the Knightmares, but the action scenes are still wonderfully done.
Sound: 7
The soundtrack just wasn’t very noticeable. It got its job done, but there wasn’t any pieces that stuck out to me as great.
Character: 7
Quite a lot of characters were introduced, and it doesn’t seem like there was enough time to develop all of them. It didn’t seem like there were any characters that I really liked, or any that had really good character development. Still, none of the characters seemed to be flat or annoying, and there’s still time for them to develop in the next few movies.
Enjoyment: 7
There are some good action scenes, and some ok dialogue. It was relatively enjoyable.
Overall: 7
The movie was just average. It did its job of introducing all the characters and setting up for the next movies, but didn’t make too big of an impact. It also wasn’t nearly as good as the original anime series … However, this is only the first movie in the series, and we’ll have to wait for the other movies to come out before making a final judgement.

Two different specials, two different tones.
The first special, Episode 7.5, has a very comedic tone. It was just another slice of life episode, but it was probably one of the most hilarious episodes out of the entire show.
The second special, Episode 13, is set after the finale of the show and takes a more serious tone. In this episode, we get to learn about “dreams and goals”. This episode really shows how many of the characters changed, especially the protagonist, Kanata. We also see how the recent battle affected our main characters.
The art and music for the two specials are as stellar as usual.

In 7.5, the characters show a more comedic and fun side, while Episode 13 has some of the best character development in the entire series.
One episode light-hearted and comedic, the other solemn and deep. But in the end, both were great.

Sora no Woto tells a charming and unique tale of five girls in the military. It takes slice-of-life and sets it in the middle of a post-apocalyptic war and the result is a truly well written and touching story.
A first impression of this anime would be “K-On + Military”. It’s not hard to assume this; the art style is very similar to K-On, and the cast is composed of five girls with traits that seem very similar to the five girls from K-On.

As a slice of life, most of the episodes have rather slow and simple plots. Some of them are light-hearted and

enjoyable, but still develop the characters brilliant and are relaxing to watch. Others, especially the ones that develop the characters’ back story, have a much darker tone. Each episode also takes care into establishing the world that the story is set, as well as the town’s culture. Near the end things take a far more serious tone, focusing on the war between Helvetia and Rome.
Art: 10
The beautiful background art illustrates the charming town of Seize perfectly. The scenes are extremely detailed, and help to capture the calming mood of the series. Other times, the background shifts tone and instead portrays the horrors of war. The art style of the characters is similar to K-On, which I don’t really have a problem with.
Sound: 10
The hymn, Amazing Grace, plays an important part in the story of Sora no Woto. Also important are the various bugle tunes played throughout the story. The background music is equally good, mostly composed of calming pieces to illustrate the mood of the series. A standout is "Servente du Feu" a sojng sung in French that is absolutely brilliant. The opening, Hikari no Senritsu by Kalafina, is beautiful as well. However, the ending is rather generic J-Pop, and doesn’t fit the series very well.
Character: 10
The characters seem to be cookie cutter moe stereotypes at first, but they actually have great, developed personalities. While the characters still “fit” into their stereotypes, they also have many other aspects to their personalities that are explored very well. The side characters are also well developed, and every character has their own unique charm.
Enjoyment: 10
This show is mostly very calming and has a very relaxing effect with the simple but enjoyable plots and great art and music. The times when it becomes more serious are also enjoyable as well.
Overall: 10
Charming plot, well developed characters, beautiful music, and a unique and detailed setting. What’s not to like?

As someone who watched the anime first, I found the manga to be equally entertaining.
The manga is much shorter than the anime, with each episode compressed into one chapter. However, this does not detract from the story much at all.
Personally, I found the manga art style better than the anime. The manga art style was very expressive and helped convey the characters' emotions beautifully. The witch labyrinths were not as effective as in the anime, but still very surreal.
Even if you haven't watched the anime, the manga is still a brilliant read. I would recommend that you read this now.
